Consumer Complaint: I financed a XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX, the first day of having the vehicle, my rear passenger side door handle fell off and two over head handle bars in vehicle interior, within the first two months of having the vehicle, I replaced the whole front suspension, all 4 brakes and rotors, two sensors, three engine mounts, and the door handle. When I went to purchase the vehicle, the person selling me the vehicle, didnt not give me any information on the vehicle, did not offer me gap insurance or say anything about GAP insurance before I signed contract, he just gave me the papers to sign, showed me were to sign, did not give me adequate time to read the contract and took my money with little information on anything and he would not answer any questions I had. He had a normal two hour process done in less than 15 minutes. My car was financed at {$7100.00}. My interest is {$4400.00}. I got an appraisal on my vehicle and was told my vehicle is worth no more than {$1300.00}. I feel like I was scammed into a lemon vehicle that will not last more than a year or two at max and in a possible accident, I will be left with a high interest car loan and no vehicle.

Consumer Complaint: I was looking to get transportation and decided to finance being preapproved by XXXX XXXX after being pre-approved I went on to look for a vehicle I decided to go to a dealership close to where I work as I see the cars in the lot every day. I purchased a car from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX NY XX/XX/XXXX with a down payment of {$550.00} as I was preapproved by XXXX when I came to pick up the vehicle I was told they went with Credit acceptance as the financing company because they offer a warranty and XXXX won't answer the calls for approval the dealer had already registered the vehicle with NY XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I notified the dealership of electrical issues I noticed and was denied the ability to return or trade in the vehicle. XX/XX/XXXX the check engine light came on and I visited the dealer he told me that was normal and not to worry about it as I responded this has never happened to me out of all the cars I've owned and it happens to a car I financed is not acceptable, I requested the inspection report and bill of sale instead I was told they cant find my paperwork. XX/XX/XXXX as I was driving on the expressway the vehicle stalled and transmission failed XX/XX/XXXX the vehicle was towed to the recommended repair shop by the dealer with no transportation the dealer denied me again to trade the vehicle in or another form of transportation XX/XX/XXXX I was told by the repair shop that the transmission had been leaking oil for a while and would need to be replaced after back and forth with the dealership he agreed to give me a loaner car while having the loaner car the check engine light came on and it had an issue that I had to pay to recharge the battery I called the dealer multiple times and left messages with no answer or response.. XX/XX/XXXX I got a call saying the car is repaired and ready for pick up when I picked the car up I noticed the heat wasn't working anymore and everytime I would come to a stop the car would accelerate and decelerate I returned it to repair shop where the owner/ mechanic stated it may be a motor issue or something else I left the car at the repair shop. XX/XX/XXXX I received another call from the dealer saying the car is ready to be picked up and everything that was and issue was fixed and replace but instead I had to pick the car up from the dealership and not the repair shop where I left the vehicle when I got in the car to start it up the dealer got in the loaner car and left the car never headed up, the window was still not working and still had acceleration issue I waited over an hour at the dealership waiting for the dealer to return he didn't so I left I called and visited as many times as possible each time I was told the owner isn't there or would be ignored the same day I went to the repair shop and was told nothing was done to the car after being replaced. XX/XX/XXXX the check engine light came on again I visited the dealer more and no response from my first financed car resulted in a lot of mental, emotional and financial damage.

Consumer Complaint: The company Credit Acceptance is illegally using my information and incorrect info on my credit profile that is impacting my score. They have a car loan placed on my profile that they have changed the price on multiple times but never corrected the information on my profile that has been proven on both ends as incorrect. Legally the debt collector/collectors must update the correct info or remove the account if it isnt. It has been over 2 years the account has not been updated with the correct information. Also the company illegally repossessed my vehicle for the 2nd time and still have yet managed to update that the property they in fact sold at a auction and ( sent no paperwork ), and continues to show a negative balance for property they have and continues to only up date a negative price they claim i owe.

Consumer Complaint: They failed to id me with my state identification numbers, Dear Credit Acceptance, I am writing to request the return of my title and settlement funds in regards to the fraudulent transaction against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It has come to my attention that your company did not operate in accordance with the Truth in Lending Act 15 USC1681, and furthermore did not report my credit fairly. As you are aware, financing charges can only be paid with money in hand. I did not receive any money in hand and instead signed a contract which was not the full contract that I had seen on the Credit Acceptance website. Additionally, I did not receive my car as part of a proper consumer to credit transaction. Therefore, I am not liable for the debt that is required, are contract is null and void due to the contract being fraudulent. Given these circumstances, I am requesting the return of my title and settlement funds. I would like to settle this matter through our abbreviation clause. Please let me know how we can proceed with this, I extended them the credit they claim to have loaned me. I am a sovereign entity. According to Congress fraud is anytime a Person ( Corporation ) transfer, traffic, or transport your Government Authentication feature for value! 18 usc 1028d ( 1,3,9, 12 ). Also i did not consent for any company to use my data using a SSA-89 it's fraud. Irs Publications 4681 states that all charge off are income.. How I still owe a debt that was written off as income. I also didnt put a down payment of XXXX that is false. Which makes the contract false. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Nothing was discussed or shown about apr or all other misc. add on. Did not know about the outrageous charges untill I received the first payment notice in the mail.That 's when i made an account was able to see the outrageous cost of the vehicle.I called the bank and the young lady stated that the dealer was supposed to give me a copy of the bank documents The young lady stated she will mail me the information of the agreement. These are not the terms I agreed upon. I tried calling the dealer concerning why i was not told or shown or given the disclosure of the bank 's interest rate and high apr but to no avail. I have texted the number that was given no avail. If I was informed of the outrageous prices I would never have purchased the vehicle. The dealer sold me a car under false pretense.
