Consumer Complaint: The dates of all my payment history were current and I paid about {$2700.00} in payments on the original {$8200.00} balance of the vehicle. I communicated with the dealership and turned the vehicle in because of it being over priced. Credit Acceptance stated that there was balance owed on my credit of {$9200.00} which is incorrect also a repossession appeared on my credit. I requested proof the check from the lending bank and Credit Acceptance never communicated back to me.

Consumer Complaint: There is information on my consumer report that is a result of identity theft I did not provide written permission or instructions for the identity transactions to be reported. I am requesting that the reporting of this information be blocked and removed. My request to block is not being made in error, nor is my request to block the identified transactions, not information related to any transaction by me as the consumer. You are required to do what I have asked to be done within four ( 4 ) days of this notice XXXX update this info to all my reports for this action to be done to all my reports on any file being reported. They violated the law of safe lending rights. They also did fraud identity theft issues 15 1681 a ( g ), filling in false info without consent to do so with other companies. I need my deposits back. Consumer Complaint: on XXXX XXXX i purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXXXXXX XXXX which was financed through credit acceptance for {$27000.00}. with a 72 moth payment plan of XXXX. But i did not know that the dealer who i bought the car from added extended warranty, gap insurance, and roadside assistance, which added almost XXXX in extra to the amount being financed plus interest. on XXXX XXXX i called credit acceptance to get those extra items removed. They removed those extra items from the original amount financed but said my monthly payments would still be the same. I asked how is that possible when almost XXXX in extra charges were taken from the original loan amount, I was told that i would just be paying the car off early. i explained to credit acceptance that the contract is for 72 months, how can that be changed. i was told that i would just be paying the car off early. I explained to credit acceptance that at this time i do not wish to pay the car off early and would like my monthly payments to be adjusted to what the contract says which is 72mnths of payments for the amount financed i told there is nothing that can be done. This is clearly a breach of the original contract by forcing me to pay the loan off early than the agreed upon time frame that the loan is to be paid back and i will be getting legal counsel with this matter it just doe not feel right to me

Consumer Complaint: The company CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORPORP CREDIT DISPUTE DEPT XXXX, MI XXXX started in XXXX they stated we were late on payment well they actually changed due dates to make us show late twice. I tried to correct in XXXX when made aware of the issue. They said it is what it is. I had the issue again in XXXX I then decided to change lenders. The practices of Credit acceptance corp are not good or moral. I have had several attempts with credit companies to have false information removed. I noticed they had a suit filed for illegal practices with XXXX which is where we obtained the vehicle loan. I am just trying to remove false information from my credit reports which has held me back for 6 yrs now. Why is this so hard. Angry and frustrated.

Consumer Complaint: I got my first car in XXXX with credit acceptance the the vehicle had water damage which I didnt know until after purchasing the vehicle in XXXX I decided to voluntarily repossess the vehicle the company sold the vehicle the same year the balance they are reporting to credit bureaus is the incorrect balance and strongly effecting my credit the balance shown is what the car cost when I financed it the vehicle was sold nothing was left there was no balance I dont understand how they can do this I made a down payment and made payments while having the vehicle there is no way I still owe the same exact balance from when I finance the car the company is cruel and reporting wrongfully

Consumer Complaint: I previously filed a complaint through the CFPB in XXXX of this year concerning credit acceptance and my account and extra fees that I was unaware of the fact that I told the car lot I didn't want the extra service plan it was in fact still charged to me in the amount of XXXX Credit Acceptance has since offered a settlement of XXXX dollars I feel considering I refused the extra service plan and was still charged for it I feel the settlement is unfair considering all the money in interest that Credit Acceptance made off the extra XXXX service plan I didn't agree to I would also want them to produce the original paper contract that has my wet signature agreeing to the extra service plan.I feel this loan should at the very least be closed and settled for zero, I feel as though I am one of many that Credit Acceptance in partnership with car lots do this bait and switch with the service contract to people who refuse this extra plan it's misleading and or fraudulent and designed to be financially damaging to the people who can afford it the least, and if they can't produce my wet signature on the extra service plan I should be reimbursed the XXXX and I feel like I want to see if it was forged and what point was it added because I never agreed to it at this point I have also been advised to seek out a consumer law attorney in this matter but I am hoping the CFPB can help me.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX still put this credit acceptance on my credit report it is settled I don't remember it's been since XXXX XXXX XXXX it was a lemon it could not pass inspection for nothing car broke down on highway tow truck came towed it s aid the engine went oil leaking out no front lights it was a nightmare terrible once the car got to the tow shop he manager said it was a peice of junk lemon do I complaints to XXXX, attorney general office, consumer affairs office they told us to try to get the car back to the dealership XXXX XXXX in XXXX NY XXXX XXXX XXXX used car lot closed down 1 year 3 months after we had the car they we're selling lemon cars drive 1 year until inspection and that when we found out the car lot was scamming customers selling car that were in storms flooded water damaged engine 's credit acceptance said they need to get the car sold so we told the tow man what happened and what we went through with this car lemon he brought it and used the car for parts so he contacted credits acceptance and they agreed on XXXX and I sent a copy of the paid in full letter XXXX credit said that's not proof I want to sue them for damages of XXXX voilated code 15us 1681 code809 code 611 code. 623 code 605

Consumer Complaint: They keep changing the price on the vehicle through the credit agency all three the credit report has changed the number that I owe on the vehicle its been going on since 2019 and still changing what I owe on that car I put 5 motors in that vehicle they refused to pick it up last month I owed XXXX on one credit report this month it's over XXXX on one credit report the other one it's over XXXX and the same on the other one XXXX they keep jacking up the price of this vehicle that I don't have they are the ones refused to pick it up I even told them about the motors in this vehicle too it should be against the law for them to have jacked up the price on this vehicle
