Consumer Complaint: I have a current complaint open with the CFPB for an auto loan with Credit Acceptance. Instead of the company responding to the CFPB, a compliance analyst, XXXX XXXX, sent me an email attempting to get me on a phone call. The email is attached to this complaint. Note that I previously disputed this account before filing a complaint with CFPB. The company did not comply with the dispute guidelines. The company has not responded to the CFPB and is now emailing me after I have told them that collection attempts must be stopped since they did not provide the required state notices regarding collecting money for a car repossession. The company is continuously violating the FDCPA and the FCRA.

Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance tried to sue me. It started with phone calls then they sent multiple letters and I responded over a course of a few months. I finally went to the scheduled court date vs credit acceptance corp. the judge was running late and even contacted the company before court started. They apparently forgot. They failed to apear and the judge stated, It is therefore, ORDERED, that the above styled and referenced case is hereby dismissed, without prejudice for failure to prosecute. Yet, it still present on my report as existing and open.

Consumer Complaint: * Contacted Credit Acceptance ( CA ) back in XXXX to correct the balance * Called CA on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to XXXX who works on CA 's Legal Collections Team ( who was very helpful ) along with XXXX who manages coordination with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX conveyed her apologies for the oversight of the late reporting, and payment history since the account was settled in XX/XX/XXXX, but their documentation reflects XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX stated that CA would update the credit score that day, but it would not reflect until XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX advised me to reach out to the law firm XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX for the satisfaction of Judgement ( SOJ ) I spoke to XXXX XXXX who was not helpful at all, and suggested I call CA back. * XX/XX/XXXX I had a conference call with my Mortgage XXXX ( XXXX ) and CA to get an update on my credit score and documentation. I asked to speak with XXXX since she spoke to me initially, but XXXX who was very guarded with her responses and stated she was not available, but she would try to help. XXXX basically confirmed what I already knew to be true... nothing was done, and no documentation was available. XXXX also mentioned that the refund would be sent to XXXX XXXX, but did not share the amount. XXXX made note of both XXXX and my email address to forward the requested documentation. XXXX I received a letter from CA regarding my credit dispute stating " we do not have enough information from you to review your inquiry ''. XXXX called CA and spoke with XXXX who stated CA received the reference number for the SOJ but would not give me the number, but suggested I reach out to the District Court 's office. XXXX My mortgage team had XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX reach out to me to have my tradelines updated without any late payments. XXXX ( XXXX ) and I conference called CA and XXXX who was extremely helpful ( manages coordination with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) answered the phone and apologized for the inaccurate reporting, answered all of Jasmines questions. Even though her office has a copy of the ( XXXX ) its not signed by the Judge. XXXX suggested I reach out to the XXXX XXXX for an update. I called the XXXX XXXX again and spoke to XXXX XXXX again who couldn't even find my file with my account number. He found it eventually and confirmed that XXXX was still not signed, but that it could take a few days. I stated that's what you said this the last time, and nothing has happened! He was not professional towards the end of the call. XXXX XXXX XXXX out to me and stated that late payments are still reporting on my credit history even though it has a XXXX balance. XXXX suggested I call CA again to have them correct it. XXXX stated she always has difficulty when dealing with Credit Acceptance. A formal complaint to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ). I will call today again on my behalf.

I called and was given the a lie reason, that my payment was late by 1day. Not my fault there system processed it late. Then I spoke to a supervisor and was told a different story. In total I spoke to 4 different Reps 2 of them managers, 4 different story 's. They wanted a total of {$840.00} to obtain the car back. Now how am I suppose to do that when I lost both of my job in one day.
