Consumer Complaint: I couldnt afford the vehicle anymore in XX/XX/XXXX so I volunteered to let them repossess the car. They picked up the car about 2 weeks later and I didnt hear back from the company until XXXX when they said they never got the vehicle. They have been reporting the vehicle late on my credit report late for the past year. The company name is Credit acceptance and to my knowledge they received the car 5 years ago. If I actually had the car they should have repossessed it or taken me to court or filed charges and I could prove I submitted the car. I told all credit bureaus about how it was a repossession and they still report the vehicle as a late payment. Also the amount they say I owed is not correct. I only owed XXXX at the time of repossession. They are claiming XXXX.

My personal information being furnished has caused me emotional damages and defamation of character. I have an idea who opened the account ( maybe some relatives that used my information ). I guarantee that these finance company do not have my actual signature on file because I never open these accounts.

Consumer Complaint: I have requested that the debt be validated and investigated with Credit Acceptance Corporation. Which was never done. I am trying to by a house and they are reporting a debt that does not belong to me. Its saying that the debt was charged off but i never recieved a 1099-C Cancelation of debt because its not mine. I demand under FCRA : Section 604 : Permissible Purpose My written authorization ( i would like it mailed to me please ) Proof that I personally initiated this inquiry to acquire such card show me last purchases Either provide me strict proof or DELETE the item immediately. If you do not delete the charge off in 15 days I will take legal action. Under 15 USC Section 623 you have 30 days to do a reasonable inquiry into this matter. If you ignore this letter and do not delete the charge off or dont provide STRICT proof of authorization I will have no other choice but to have my local Congressman promptly forward a formal complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and Attorney General for further scrutiny of this matter. Your cooperation in advance is appreciated. This is my last letter then I will promptly seek litigation. My attorneys are pending your reasonable response Thank you XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: The lender must provide me written notice of my right to redemption and ( or ) right if reinstatement .The lender must provide a notice to the consumer that confirms the sale price of the repossessed vehicle from auction I have not received any notice in writing before or after repossession i have been a victim of a illegal auto repossession I would like my repossession investigated with proof from the lender were properly and timely given, and all of the allowable redemption and cure time limits were adhered to Please provide copies of the legal notices and proof of the commercially reasonable manner of the resale of the subject vehicle. If no such proof is provided with receipt of the notice, the alleged claim of a deficiency will be considered null and void, and any continued collection activities, or continued reporting of this invalid claim on my credit reports will be considered a violation of the FDCPA and FCRA.

Consumer Complaint: I have a company by the name of Credit Accepteince reporting on my credit report. They calls my phone before XXXX which is affecting my life. I have disputed the account multiple times and also pointed out multiple violations on my credit report from this company and every time I dispute the account it will come back as verified which is odd because the company keeps changing the amount owed, on one of my reports they posted the alleged last payment was XX/XX/XXXXXXXX then on another one they posted last payments was in XXXX and one payment in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX which is impossible because it wasn't me because that was the month I was disputing the account and have a paper trail to prove it. I reached out to the company trying to see what the charges was and told them I don't owe them money then they say XXXX. They said it's for a car that they had but did not want the car because it was not of value to them so they are reporting the account as an open account on my credit reports for a car I dont have. They also were reporting that I allegedly owed XXXX then keep changing the amount every month they changed the amount all the way up to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX then the next month in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX it went down to XXXX without any payment, now how is that possible that someone owe close to XXXX then the next month it go down with out a payment. And why are they not reporting the same information on all my reports if it was a real legal account I feel highly threatened by this company and is now working with a lawyer to go forward because the XXXX, XXXX and XXXX is not helping even after I pointed out the violations I have no knowledge of these charges on my report and dont like the harrasment.. I have screen shoots and copies of all communication and copies of all my credit reports that shows proof of each violation. I just found out this company has been sued in California and New york and I believe I'm apart of that
