Issue: Struggling to pay your loan
Subissue: Denied request to lower payments
Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance is working with me so far in regards to monthly payments during this covid pandemic, severe crisis. I'm concerned about the major interest and added of thousands of dollars on my loan. My XXXX XXXX XXXX, 14 year old vehicle, with over XXXX miles, was agreed on at slightly over {$13000.00} at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX FL. This is a used car dealership only. After looking over my terms after the deal was struck. My loan is now over {$22000.00}, thats a {$9000.00} in interest. Submitted refinancing request, not sure if it was received or reviewed. Not sure, but I feel that I'm over paying A LOT, for an old vehicle. Yet I will say Credit Acceptance had been working with my payments due to covid pandemic and I appreciate that, and thank you.

Issue: Struggling to pay your loan
Subissue: Loan balance remaining after the vehicle is repossessed and sold
Consumer Complaint: The account was opened onXX/XX/XXXX I believe the account balance history is inaccurate. My vehicle was repossessed and sold. I believe I was sold a lemon because the vehicle didn't last me very long. The account is several years old and should be removed from my credit report expeditiously. It would be a great blessing to my family and I.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX i am currently a member of the XXXX XXXX. XXXX of 2019 i was suddenly XXXX which left me no time to contact my current creditors to notify them therefore i was reported late by CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION for multiple months which has killed my credit score. I am about to come home soon and my plan is to purchase a home but this is hindering me. It was not by choice that i was suddenly XXXX. If these late pays can be corrected to paid on time never late that would really help me out. I have tried to dispute this with the credit bureaus and the original creditor which came back verified or validated..I am not an expert in credit so i do not know what else to do than to place a complaint with the CFPB. I hear the state attorney general is the next step. I do not want to cause issues for CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION, I just want this corrected. thank You I have attached a copy of my report for reference on all the late payments they reported.

Consumer Complaint: Have disputed this account multiple times. XXXX has deleted it for inaccurate reporting. XXXX and XXXX comes back saying account verified. And since that's not what I'm disputing, it tells me they are using EOscar system and not a full investigation, which is a violation of my rights under FCRA. Screenshots from my report show multiple inaccurate reporting items. Date of last activity, last updated, account type, ect. It's reporting as currently later with XXXX as if its still open.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a 2009 XXXX XXXX with my son. He was arrested and the vehicle was seized. I worked with the states attorney and credit acceptance to get the car back and obtained approval from credit acceptance to reduce the payments from {$460.00} to {$300.00} which I have been paying monthly and sometimes twice per month. I recently was made aware that the car was out for repossession before it was seized because my son did not make his payments but once it was seized the repossession stopped. Credit acceptance is stating that the payments are being reported as 120 days late each month because of the prior repo order. I am being told there is nothing they can do even when I am current on my payments because the car was up for repossession at one point which made the entire loan due. I was never told this when I renegotiated the payment amount and this is effecting my credit score drastically. I have tried to call a manager but no one has returned my calls and the representatives are rude when speaking to me. My payment history proves my on time payments and the letter I received when lowering my payments never speaks about The entire loan being due. Please look into this matter as I believe this is an illegal and unfair practice.
