Consumer Complaint: I received information from you attempting to collect the above-listed alleged debt. Please be further advised, I dispute the validity of the alleged debt in its entirety. Further I request verification of the alleged debt, including, the name and address of the original creditor, along with a copy of a signed contract with the creditor.I am writing in regard to the above referenced accounts and transactions. The vehicle was repossessed by CAC in the State of ALABAMA on or about, XX/XX/2017, and resold on or about unknown.Under the laws of the State of Alabama UCC Alabama Code Title 7. Commercial Code 7-9A-205 and State RISA and MVISA statutes a deficiency can not be claimed unless all of the required notices were properly and timely given, and all of the allowable redemption and cure time limits were adhered to.Please provide copies of the legal notices and proof of the commercially reasonable manner of the resale of the subject vehicle.If no such proof is provided within 14 days from receipt of this notice, the alleged claim of a deficiency will be considered null and void, and any continued collection activities, or continued reporting of this invalid claim on my credit reports will be considered a violation of the FDCPA and FCRA.In addition, if you singularly or severally fail to comply with the above requests, I reserve the right to seek damages against all parties, under all available State and Federal statutes and UCC - 9 remedies.As per the law, cease and desist all collection activity, including credit reporting.

I was driving in the loner car until my car ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) was finished. I put money down on the car in the middle of XXXX and decided to give the car back at the end of XXXX because the loner car was messed up and they still wasnt giving me updates on my XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX kept ignoring cars calls because I wanted to get a full return on the car. XXXX XXXX XXXX wrote me out a check for XXXX. I went to the bank just for them to tell me his account couldnt withdraw a limit over XXXX. XXXX XXXX I returned to XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to get two different checks which was both worth XXXX ( I was able to cash on different days ). Fast Forward XXXX XXXX started calling two times a weeks at the end of XXXX for a balance I didnt know I owed. I called XXXX from The dealership several times to see why I owe a balance, he told me it was wrong and he been called them. He Was lying, now I have a car I never had on my credit report

Months later insurance company paid XXXX XXXX paid and I never received a letter with the remaining balance I had called each week finally I paid the balance account is closed and paid and still is open and late on my report

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance Corp reported my payment 30 days late in the month of XXXX and XXXX although the payment was paid in XXXX and XXXX. This inaccuracy in reporting is damaging the credibility with other lenders. Credit Acceptance own internal reporting does not indicate that the payment is late, nor do they assess a late fee for the period in which they insist was delinquent. They refuse to fix the issue by contacting the three main credit bureaus to report the error. Credit Acceptance is a predatory lender that is taking advantage of individuals attempting to establish or rebuild their credit.
