Consumer Complaint: XXXXCredit Acceptance stopped reporting my 100 % on time payments to some of the credit bureaus. Within a week I stopped receiving loan offers. Though at that same time frame XXXX XXXX has been sending me notices to come in and upgrade my car, knowing I can't even get a loan on tires now because of their actions. Called them. They don't care and will not call me back on this issue. XXXX is the only only one being reported to. My scores dropped 95 points because of this.

Issue: Struggling to pay your loan
Subissue: Loan balance remaining after the vehicle is repossessed and sold
Consumer Complaint: CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION XXXX XXXX XXXX CREDIT DISPUTE DEPT XXXX, MI XXXX Phone : ( XXXX ) XXXX I received a copy of my credit report and found the following item ( s ) to be errors. I am writing in regards to the above referenced accounts and transactions. This vehicle was repossessed by Credit Acceptance Corporation in the XXXX of Pennsylvania in XX/XX/2019. The exact date of this Repossession is unknown because I was out of the state when the car was taken. Additionally, Once the lender has repossessed the car, a sale of the car may be scheduled. Pennsylvania law requires lenders to provide the debtor with a notice of sale before the sale of the car. This notice must provide the debtor with information in writing of the date, time and location of the scheduled sale. Cars are usually sold at auction to the highest bidder. Personal property found inside a repossessed car may not be kept by the lender. The lender must provide the debtor with information regarding the recovery of personal property. Lenders must return the license plates of the car to the registered owner. Unfortunately, the law was broken and my rights were violated according to Pennsylvania State Repossession Laws. I NEVER received any notice of the scheduled sale of my vehicle. After disputing directly with Credit Acceptance, I received the notices and the certified mail receipts clearly showing they did not timely deliver the proper notices and the mail was returned to sender undelivered. Also, my valuable personal property and license plate was NEVER returned to me and my items were basically stolen. Also, statutes a deficiency can not be claimed unless all of the required notices were properly and timely given, and all of the allowable redemption and cure time limits were adhered to. Please provide copies of the legal notices and proof of the commercially reasonable manner of the resale of the subject vehicle. As per Section 609. Disclosures to Consumers [ 15 U.S.C. 168 1g ], I am entitled to see the source of the information, which is the original contract that contains my signature and please note, the original creditor DID NOT PROVIDE ME any copy of the requested contract. By the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I demand that these items be investigated and DELETED from my report. It is my understanding that you will re-check these items with the creditor who has posted them. Please DELETE any information that the creditor can not verify. The items that the original creditor sent me as a result of my request for debt validation are ATTACHED in this letter. I will need this re-investigated timely in case I need to pursue legal action including initiating formal complaints to the state attorney general, better business bureau, CFPB and XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Information received back from dispute to Credit Acceptance validates my reason for dispute. Letter from Credit Acceptance states the reporting is accurate. ( See attached documents of reports showing multiple errors. ) 1. Letter states account was a collection as of XX/XX/XXXX? How is this possible when my last reported payment in full is XX/XX/XXXX? 2. Account is still on report as collection as of today. XX/XX/XXXX. This is clearly inaccurate. 3. Letter states that first delinquency date was XX/XX/XXXX? Credit Report clearly shows first delinquency date of XX/XX/XXXX. Which indicates rollback and illegal re-aging. 4. One report shows paid, and other shows as derogatory thats still in collections. These are multiple inaccuracies which are in violation of my rights under FCRA law.

Balance then was around XXXX now it is XXXX Now this year they just started to add interest monthly on the remaining balance, They car was sold at Auction XX/XX/2018. How can they charge interest now on a car i do not have and keep reporting it to my credit on a closed account? I have called them because the police cam to my house saying they located the car in XXXX NC and that it was stolen. I explained i no longer owned that car it was reprocessed. I called Credit acceptance and they said the car was sold at auction over a year ago, but they cant do anything if the buyer did not put the car in their name. All they could do was provide me with a letter saying the car was not mine. After that call i began to see them reporting to my credit. With fees
