Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: On several occasions, I have disputed this information on my credit report to be corrected. I took out a loan on a car with Credit Acceptance in XXXX, this account was purchased by my credit union and the car was then paid off fully. In XXXX, I was approved for another loan with Credit Acceptance and the XXXX was XXXX or so total owing when I called them to have them pick the XXXX up because I could no longer pay for it. They never updated their records after picking it up and selling it at auction, instead, my account balance goes from XXXX to XXXX after I disputed the amount owing. This is fraudulent for this company to out of the blue add an additional balance onto a balance they were already supposed to correct due to the resale of the XXXX. The balance should have gone down from XXXX from what it sold for but never did instead just noticed today when checking my credit report that now it is XXXX. I would like to have this investigated because I know a creditor can not arbitrarily add such fees to a balance that was already supposed to be corrected after the sale of this truck at auction which is what I was informed of by them after they picked it up back in XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX believes in the credit reporting system as the most important element to the success of the commercial banking system. I am also a proponent of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX CFPB XXXX as a tool to streamline issues on credit reports that may be dragging down my overall scores. Accordingly, I address each particular issue directly with the creditor in question, before submitting any complaint to the credit bureaus if necessary. Therefore, I desire the following reinvestigation as follows : 1 ) On accounts where late payments are posted, I respectfully request a review of the past payment history and to ascertain if certain payments could actually have been posted late because of an overlap on the 30-days grace period. I realize that this may happen on occasion, and I request only a summary review internally, and do not require any documentation. 2 ) On any account that falls within the 84-month negative reporting timeline, I respectfully request either the deletion of the account if said account was closed, or the elimination of the prior payment if the account it is still active, this is well within the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) guidelines pertaining to obsolete information. 3 ) Any collections must be proved if either a direct collection and/or debt purchase. In either event I request that a true original copy of right to pursue collection be established with each respective credit reporting agency, and if a debt purchase the guidelines proving transfer of ownership must be submitted to all credit bureaus as well as me personally to validate ownership and the right to collect. I am well within my rights requesting proper documentation as administered through the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) and the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ), in addition to the even stricter guidelines enforced by the office of attorney general in my state of domicile. I respectfully request each investigation to be reported to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX within a reasonable time period, hopefully 30-days. I realize that the current Covid-19 crisis could cause delays, so the best efforts of each financial institution and collection agency will be appreciated under the current circumstances. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2020 I get up for work to find that my car wont start. I call XXXX to find out about the factory warranty still available on the car and based on the VIN on the car it was still available for the repairs. I get the car to XXXX later that night by tow and they then give me a loaner car for the inconvenience. XX/XX/2020 I Receive the diagnostic from XXXX to an extent. XXXX tells me that an accident had occurred in my vehicle in which the Airbags had been deployed and that they can not service the vehicle because it is no longer under warranty. Now we get to the matter at hand. XX/XX/2020 After finding that the car is no longer under warranty due to an issue that was unknown prior to me buying the vehicle, I call the extended warranty that I purchased for XXXX through a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX FL XXXX. This company tells me that they would have been happy to acknowledge my warranty but due to the airbag issue on the car they administer the work on the car. At that point I tell them I want to cancel the warranty because me buying for this warranty does me no good if I can't use it, so they then tell me that instead of the refund returning to me as it should that it will then be sent to my lending contract and be added to the total cost of my vehicle. I should have never been able to even purchase this warranty because this was an issue prior to me buying the car that I was unaware of. me having to pay for it when I bought the car means I should then be getting the refund for it as well.. On XX/XX/2020 that same evening I contact the Dealer - Mark over at XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX While talking to them, I explain everything that i cant get the car fixed using my warranty due to the fact that an airbag had been deployed on the vehicle in an accident prior to me having the car and that I need my contract resented because the car should have then never been able to be sold to me. He then tells me that no airbag had ever been deployed on the vehicle and that I need to contact the financing company because its " out of his hands ''. Basically acknowledging to me that this accident had happened and never been reported on the VIN before I bought the car. If the airbag had been deployed on the car, the title and VIN on the vehicle would have said SALVAGE meaning I should have never been able to buy it. XX/XX/2020 I then contact my financing company which is CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION I begin to explain that I need my contract to be Resent because the car that was sold to me was sold Illegally. I tell them about the everything prior to this phone call, and they then tell me that they do not finance vehicles that have salvage titles and that they have no records of the vehicle being in an accident in which the airbags had been deployed. They agree that the vehicle shouldnt have been financed through them, Let alone sold by the dealer. Im still telling them that I want my contract to be resent and that I deserve a refund for the full total that ive spent on the car from the down payment, to the taxes, to the payments up to this point and that this needs to be wiped from my credit report and the car given baxk to the dealer. They then tell me that I cant get the loan cancelled on the vehicle, even though it should have legally never happened to begin with! This is what led to me contact other help!
