Consumer Complaint: i financed a XX/XX/XXXX used XXXX XXXX with CREDIT ACCEPTANCE IN XX/XX/XXXX already with a high interest rate and horrible business practice and reporting my information incorrectly i traded in the vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX, with XXXX XXXX, my first payment to XXXX XXXX was due and paid XX/XX/XXXX, CREDIT ACCEPTANCE continues to report to the credit agencies late payments for XXXX, XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX despite receiving the pay off in XXXX, and despite supposedly not holding anyone accountable for LATE payments in XX/XX/XXXX during the pandemic and stated they will not be reporting late payments, even with this in place i made all my payments through out the lockdown including my XXXX payment to avoid this, i have disputed this several times with the bureaus sent in documentation to CREDIT ACCEPTANCE intially i was told it will be corrected and still they are validating the matter with the buraus and refuses to lift these late payments off my report despite its inaccurate ... how can i have a late payment in XXXX or XXXX when credit acceptance acknowledges they received the payoff check XX/XX/XXXX? my payments werent due until the XX/XX/XXXX of every month i spoke with a XXXX at credit acceptance in the escalations department who tries to justify this by stating they report at the end of the month, which still wouldn't give an explanation for a late payment for XXXX this is heavily effecting my credit and they refuse to acknowledge their error of fix it. my relationship or legal obligations ended in XX/XX/XXXX and they still report a late payment for XXXX and XXXX as well as XX/XX/XXXX who intially claims they will not do my understanding is that CREDIT ACCEPTANCE IS currently being sued for these illegal practices and im willing to join the class act lawsuit because i have documentation of all my on time payments and proof this contract was terminated prior to the dates they are reporting

Consumer Complaint: Hello i had a issue with my vehicle regarding coolant leakage and radiator issues. i use my vehicle warranty to try and take care of the issue with me seeing those things were covered in my warranty and mines was still active i use it. They ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX pick up the vehicle diagnose the vehicle and deemed it not covered after their findings and said they wouldn't do any work on the vehicle. My Lenders ( Credit acceptance ) Picks my vehicle up from them with my permission and takes it to schmitty 's repo. Now its on my credit as a repossession which it shouldn't be then to make matters worst XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX never put the engine back in my vehicle so even if i was to pick up my vehicle from XXXX XXXX i ca n't drive it because my engine is gone.I have contact all parties in this matter and they keep pointing the finger at one another. also credit acceptance isn't trying to help at all they just keep hitting my credit when they know what happened to the vehicle nor have they offered any helping hands even though they picked up the vehicle with no engine.

Consumer Complaint: Good Day, My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I am reaching out to complain on XXXX for their not of response and reporting. I have done everything and followed every step on removing false accounts that are reporting and still have not heard anything. It has passed the 30 days multiple times and at this point, and nothing has not been resolved. They keep reporting accounts that do not belong to me. I have mailed several certified letters, that are dated, that have everything listed in detail, that have everything required and they still done anything to remove them. I am very frustrated at the point and need to get these accounts removed as soon as possible. I have filed a police report and identity theft report ( XXXX ) and still refuse to help. Consumer Complaint: I called the finance company on Saturday had a payment due but wanted to know why my vehicle was reported a repo. I told the rep i did not want to make the payment until someone could help fix my account she was rude and never listened to what i had to say. I called back on Monday and asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to 3 different reps. Not one accept the last supervisor listened. I agreed with her to make bi weekly payments starting on the XXXX for XXXX and on the XXXX XXXX. She also sent me my payment history a first in 3 years. Today i recieved a call from a rep at XXXX asking me about a payment i tried to explain that i spoke with a supervisor on Mondaydid n't get anywhere i am very frustrated with this crooked finance company that has just been sued in Mass and Michigan for there illegal practices.

Consumer Complaint: I receive multiple phone calls every day, even weekends from a recorded message from credit acceptance corporation. I have no debt with them and my credit score is high. I have learned not to try and talk to debt collectors and wait until they mail something so I can dispute it. It seems from my research that this company does car loans but mine is paid off.
