The original debt is 6yrs 4 months old and they reached it to 4 yrs .Balance on one credit report shows paid the other is reporting original debt. I have submitted several verification of debt and request for inaccuracies to be corrected or deleted to both creditor and all credit bureaus. Its deleted off one and remains inaccurate on others. Neither the creditor or credit bureaus have taken my phone calls or letters seriously and has caused severe damage to my credit. Consumer Complaint: I initially send a copy of my FCT report and identification to all credit bureaus in XXXX. I received a notification via my XXXX account that the account for the company Credit Acceptance would stay on my account. I had been working directly with the company in the past to remove this from my credit as it is not my debt and identity fraud. I spoke with an employee at Credit Acceptance XX/XX/XXXX, then another employee named XXXX in the complaint department XX/XX/XXXX. She informed me that they had received a fax from me from XXXX but it was half way cut off so they could not determine anything. I informed her I in fact had not sent them a fax of anything and it more than likely was from the credit bureaus. XX/XX/XXXX I then faxed XXXX the information requested ( which I had previously mailed a while back when trying to get this off ) my ID, ( social ), FTC report, my signature 5 times. She mailed me a letter stating what I had send wasn't enough evidence when in fact I sent everything that was asked. This company is determined to keep this own my credit when it is clear this was identity fraud.

Consumer Complaint: I traded a vehicle 13 days before my due date XX/XX/2020 on XX/XX/2020. It was a 54 month term I had the car less than 24 months. The creditor listed me as late for XXXX and XXXX payment and sent me a final payoff letter dated XX/XX/2020. That documentation alone corroborates that I wasn't late in addition to the fact that I was no longer in possession of the vehicle after XX/XX/2020. I disputed with all 3 credit bureaus supplied documentation in addition to the paid in full letter and state tax forms specifying the date of the trade in. They all sided with the company who were paid off but each one of the bureaus have the dispute results listed as paid in full but the late payments are hampering my credit growth. Credit Acceptance Co out of Michigan has the propensity to berate under served customers and communities per the XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a used car for with a purchase price of less than XXXX. They used Credit Acceptance Corporation to finance my loan. The interest with them was around XXXX which was extremely high. I had major issues with the car. After the struts were done by the dealership, the car literally had to be welded back together due to the fact that it was too dangerous to drive. On top of this, they installed a Starter Interrupter Device on my car which I was not aware of. I was not informed of this, instead, I was told that there would be a system if the car were to get stolen. I found out that there was a tracking device that was put onto my car without my knowledge that was " wired '' from the pedal to the steering wheel. The problem is that the device was malfunctioning and becoming very dangerous for me to drive. I called CAC back in 2019 to inform them of the dangers of this and they would not give permission to the dealership to replace the device or remove it. The device became more and more dangerous and started causing electrical issues with my car to the poinXXXX I was getting XXXX XXXX from the pedals in the car from the wiring. There was literally a live wire coming from the device. I wound up in the XXXX and XXXX XXXX and have racked up over XXXX in medical bills and I have a car I can not drive due to the fact that it is too dangerous. The mechanics told me that the device screwed up the electrical system in the car and the one mechanic said that it had a live wire coming from it and that is why I was getting XXXX and XXXX from the car. These devices can be dangerous and Credit Acceptance knew about the issues and would not do anything to fix this until the car was paid off in full.
