Consumer Complaint: THEY ARE CHARGING ME DOUBLE OF WHAT THE CAR WAS WORTH AND PUT IT ON MY CREDIT. THEY ALSO REPOED MY CAR AND SAID THEY DID NOT. I DIDNT DRIVE IT BECAUSE iT WAS RECALLED BEFORE I BOUGHT IT, WHEN I DROVE IT EVERY SO OFTEN THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD KEEP XXXX ALL OVER THE ROAD. I MADE THE COMPANY AWARE WITHIN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF MY PURCHASE. I ALSO PAID FOR THE GAP INSURANCE AND NOBODY HELPED ME GET IT FIXED.

Consumer Complaint: Gm. I wanted to have Credit Acceptance investigated and the credit bureaus at fault for keep updating my dispute as VERFIED! I dont recieve nothing as proof showing how these amounts Are! You can't just verify on debt cause the creditors told u its valid..First I see they still reporting that I Involuntarily had the car repossessed when in fact mid XXXX of XXXX I called them and let them know I couldn't pay for the car at that time after being persuade to just call in if future payments couldnt be made but I let them know it wasn't looking good so thats why when the impoundment showed up one morning I gave him my keys ( Is that involuntary? ) Also, SINCE THEN THE CAR BEEN SOLD!. But they are saying I still owe the same amount after making payments over time and still same high balance in which over these few months I have disputed with the company and the 3 major credit bureaus, I just start noticing that every month on this CLOSED account that my balance gets higher and higher, also is being included as a OPEN debt in Balance of all my good standing accounts. I seen on XXXX after trying to research this company that they have similar law suits out against them for being deceitful and overcharging. I hope they not trying this tactic on me and hope this is a mistake. I never denied have a account with them but proof of how I owe this much and documents of how much car sold for and want to know, How they have the Right to keep Reporting to bureaus a different amount ever month? I hope we can find some resolvemment in this concerning matter.

Consumer Complaint: Purchased used XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX paying a note on car XXXX interest 21 %. Never missed or was late on payment from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. During that time. From XXXX to XXXX. 1st thing that happen was my center manifold that went the next night after purchase, wanted to return car they wouldn't accept they the paperwork was already pushing through. They fixed the car I did have warranty but red flag. On XX/XX/XXXX I had to get a new transmission miles ( XXXX ) also rear differential along with axle shaft, I have all paperwork ... still covered under warranty they fixed it. On XX/XX/XXXX I had to replace my entire bottom car price on parts total was XXXX that's with my job discount. Labor cost me XXXX I have paperwork miles on car ( XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX Transmission went again took it back to the same spot who recently did the transmission, miles on car ( XXXX ) they fixed it. On XX/XX/XXXX took my car to the dealership my cars keeps cutting on in off. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX called me back in said the computer brain is dead in my car, would cost around 3,500 to fix it ... that's when I called they Dealership where I got the car, they said there's nothing we can do for you and hung up the phone. So I called Credit Acceptance and told them what was happening, I said I got sold a lemon got car with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX finished with XXXX miles on XX/XX/XXXX I barely put no miles on that car in that time frame for my car to have that much work done to it. Plus it's a dead car I need ya 'll took pick the car up. They said no you're responsible for the car no matter what. I told them the car would be sitting at XXXX to come pick it up. XXXX had been calling because nobody never came in got the car. So I went to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to get my things out and called Credit Acceptance to ask why nobody has come to pick up the car. They hung up. I paid my last payment on XX/XX/XXXX even after my car wasn't working I payed that last month off which I told them I would. It was on my credit. From XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX..late was XX/XX/XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I went to look for car..Credit Acceptance reopened the account and said I was late. There's nothing on my credit report from them from XXXX XXXX till XX/XX/XXXX. For some reason when I called they said there system hasn't been updated in 2 years this was sometime in XXXX of XXXX. I said this makes no sense I have the title to my car it was lemon the case was closed, they said they never closed it. So my credit went from a XXXX to XXXX because they reopened a closed account. I called XXXX ... they said the account was sent to an undisclosed creditor from Credit Acceptance in XX/XX/XXXX then again to an undisclosed creditor on XX/XX/XXXX. So they are messing with my credit can you please help me I have the title to my car which I last heard is still there.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a vehicle from a dealership in XXXX, NJ called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The bank that approved me for the loan was Credit Acceptance. As of today it is now well over 60 days since the date of purchase XX/XX/21. The dealership engaged in unfair and deceptive business practices, I still do not have plates for my vehicle. The bank Credit Acceptance has not only failed to obtain the vehicle title from the dealership, they have also engaged in unfair and deceptive business practices. Credit Acceptance has violated my consumer rights by violating the FCRA. They have reported a vehicle loan on my credit report insinuating that I am paying them for a car that THEY DO NOT LEGALLY OWN. The bank has already paid the dealership for the car. THE TITLE WAS NEVER GIVEN TO ME, I WAS NEVER LISTED AS THE OWNER/ FINANCER OF THE CAR NOR WAS CREDIT ACCEPTANCE LISTED AS THE LIEN HOLDERS. THIS ACCOUNT SHOULD NOT BE ON MY CREDIT REPORT, NOR SHOULD I BE MADE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENTS UNTIL THE BANK HAS OBTAINED THE TITLE AND ARE LISTED AS THE LIEN HOLDERS.
