Consumer Complaint: I was sold a truck illegally its been welded on the frames the welds are rusted and shifting on the frame, the first day I got it the differential broke so I had them fix it and they told me there was nothing else wrong with the vehicle. Got it back my headlights never worked only the highbeams, the clocking in the steering column never worked the a arm was also welded crooked onto the frame illegally, The swaybar links were bent so when we put new ones on the whole front end popped off and we had to put the bent ones back on, found out that the truck was dog walking meaning the frame is twisted, go to a mechanic who then put it on a highlift said that the truck was definitely in an accident and it was never reported Ive got pictures and paperwork from the mechanic end it says that its been in an accident. I get more than eight calls a day from their loan sharks, I went down to Arizona from Colorado to try trade in the truck and the guy at the dealership laughed at me in the face and said that I am liable for everything and Still try to sell me another lemon off of his lot. The check engine light came on two weeks after I got the truck back, hes also not willing to fix the truck as well. I asked them if they can just take the truck back because I didnt want it anymore and I wasnt going to pay for it anymore and they told me that it doesnt matter that they were going to still hold me liable for whatever the truck is worth after an auction. But that they were going to put the truck back on the street its going to kill someone because it is illegally welded on the frame it should be in a junkyard!!! Hurt my credit, Lied about the price, Bogus or hidden charges, Low quality product, Collections issues, Bad customer support, Robocalls, Won't let me cancel

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2020I opened an auto loan with Credit Acceptance Corp in the amount of {$7100.00}. I made all payment the day before they were due. The auto company I purchased the vehicle from ended up going out of business in XXXX and never paid the lien that the XXXX XXXX XXXX had against the title therefore Credit acceptance was never able to obtain the title. I still made my payments until XX/XX/2020 when Credit Acceptance shut down my account and told me to continue dealing with the Ohio AG office ( which I did ). The vehicle is now back in possession of the original lienholder XXXX however even though Credit Acceptance closed my loan and returned my money that I paid, they reported to the credit bureaus as me being 120+ days late on a payment. Ive talked with them and they dismiss my concerns or tell me they will look into it and call me back. It needs to be removed from my report! They closed my loan, gave me my money back and the vehicle was never in their name or possession and has since been returned to XXXX! help!

As time went the car payments were being made and also the car insurance payments as well, until I begin to receive letters from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Also a letter of non-payment for the car insurance / foremost insurance company. Also with attachments to the vehicle meaning parking tickets/toll tickets. I began to reach out to the third-party to inquire about these issues due to these actions and not being responsible in which it reflected back to me as the official owner. XXXX Page 2 So at this point we contacted the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and spoke with a representative by the name of Miss. XXXX XXXX who directed us to the appointed people to resolve this issue. Im XXXX XXXX and my mother XXXX XXXX contacted the third-party and re-Poed my vehicle which was a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. We informed the credit union that the car was in my care. Unfortunately in the vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX it was struck by another vehicle in a tragic accident I was hospitalized in extensive care as well as a therapy also a loss of employment. I have genuinely learned my lesson on trusting in knowing in my trusting I could have lost my life as well as my credibility in hopes of regaining my strength and the ability to move forward and look at this as a learning experience and a steppingstone to building a future let alone a new chapter in my life because one day I might have to cross my own bridge and face my own challenges in my life I am asking in all of this A second chance thank you for your time and consideration XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX

Ive called Credit Acceptance if they have any hardship plan that I was able to qualify for during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Unfortunately I was denied. In order for the truck to be released, unfortunately that would be the only reliable source of transportation meanwhile I find a Suitable and permanent place of employment. I paid off my vehicle in full on XX/XX/2021 at which payments or due on the XXXX of each month and I received a letter confirming that the loan was paid off in full which was dated XX/XX/2021. However this company reports that my payment made in XXXX was late which it was not. I have contacted the credit bureaus and received no resolution even after providing copies of bank payment, contract with company, payment confirmation and closed account letter indicating that the payoff was made in time on time well before the due date.

Guy stated nothing they can do, so payment is messing up credit. Rhe original price quoted on their website was alittle under {$20000.00}. But by the time we put the money down the total price for the car wasThe loan is in my husband and my name we were not told that the finance company ( Credit Acceptance ) charged us approximately {$7000.00} fee to finance both of us. When I called the car Dealer XXXX XXXX. No one could explain to me the reason for the finance charge. I was then hung up on. So we called credit Acceptance and they stated that the fee was between us ( my husband and myself ) and the car dealership. So we contacted the dealership again and tried to speak to the finance person and was told that he was to busy to take the call. We now have left messages with the dealership everyday since XX/XX/XXXX to which no one has called us back. We would like some resolution to this issue as we feel that we were bullied to sign papers and not given time to read the contract or anything. My husband and I are both over XXXX XXXX XXXX and really feel like the dealership stuck it to us. Also, none of the paperwork reflects the correct mileage on the car. We disputed that as well. Some papers say 10 miles and some say 1 mile.

We worked to create a payment plan for the months of XXXX, XXXX and then by XX/XX/XXXX I needed to pay a full regular payment to them. I have complied to each payment arrangement including paying a full payment in XXXX and paying more than what was required. On XX/XX/21 I received a notice from both credit bureaus that Credit Acceptance is once again reporting me 120 days late. This is unacceptable and needs corrected ASAP.
