Consumer Complaint: My name is very common and after my parents died I had no money, car or home.I found a job and needed a car.I went to a crooked car dealer named XXXX in XXXX Texas back in early XXXX.Told me the car was perfect no issues.I had taken the bus all the way to his company. He rushed me and changed the price on the car to get me in and out.The cluth fell out the car almost instantly after I bought it.I reached out to them and did a voluntary surrender but never missed a payment. On my credit reports they are not matching.Without my permission and after reporting incorrectly saying I had missed payments which I did not, they sold it to a company called Credit Acceptance.I did not give them permission to sell my account to a third party as well as the dates are incorrect and only all 3 credit reports its not matching up and under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act I did not give any permission to have this sold to Credit Acceptance.I tried to reach out to the original XXXX who sold me the car but no response and this happened in XXXX.Also I keep getting updates that the balance was increased on 2 of the 3 reports but on XXXX it is closed and not increased so its false information reflecting because its been a closed account for years but now now on 2 credit reports out of nowhere its adding an increased balance for a closed account? An account thats been closed for years

Consumer Complaint: XXXX Credit Acceptance- unauthorized hard inquiry on my credit report XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX unauthorized hard inquiry on my credit report XXXX XXXX XXXX unauthorized hard inquiry on my credit report I contacted XXXX about all 3 of these companies as soon as I received the alerts that they had pulled my credit report. When I tried to dispute the inquiries, I was told that I would have to contact the companies directly to dispute it with them. When I tried contacting the companies, I was only able to reach one, as the others had listed a CELL PHONE VOICEMAIL and an inoperable phone number as their contact number. The one company I was able to reach told me that I had to contact the credit bureaus. When I called XXXX back, they told me again that I had to contact the companies. On my third call to XXXX, I was told to file a complaint with the FTC, which led me here.
