Consumer Complaint: I already have one complaint in process. I received a call from XXXX XXXX ( Regulatory Compliance ) from Credit Acceptance Corporation. She called to let me know that an investigation had started from mynprior complaint. She began to ask me questions that already had documented answers. I have no time to be interrogated because of miscommunication with Credit Acceptance Corporation. Then to make matters more frustrating I received a letter saying that I owed {$150.00}. Please help in resting this issue. I do not wish to be contacted by them again

Consumer Complaint: I paid off my car loan with CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORP Account XXXX the dealer offer me a settle offer & i agree to pay off the loan. The following month after the car was paid off sum reason my credit file was incorrect. Credit acceptance sent me a letter that's says the car is paid in full but on my credit report it says, Account paid in full for less than full balance which that appears on all 3 my credit reports. i can not get a car loan with this incorrect accounts that on my credit report also this so call miss payment also. i have all my letter from Credit Acceptance its not making any sense why this showing a charge-off or paid for a less amount Credit acceptance agree on this pay off not me so i sent them the pay-off payment so this shouldn't be a bad account on my showing on my all 3 of my credit file. I call all 3 credit companies about this issue so many times & they will not fix this account at because Credit acceptance will not update the remarks show as a good account & paid & full & the miss payment delete off. Its not making any sense why would a company agree on a {$1400.00} payment to payoff this loan. All PAYMENTS WERE MADE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE NEGOTIATED SCHEDULE WILL NEVER MISS A PAYMENT ON THIS LOAN. 15 USC SECTION 1692 ( g ) REQUIRES VALIDATION OF DEBT REQUIRING A DUTY TO RESPOND AND FAILURE TO RESPOND IS EQUATED WITH FRAUD. This was a joint account my wife name also on this account XXXX XXXX this also damage her credit file.

I have tried SEVRAL times to dispute these items as the information in incorrect, my spelling of my name, wrong address and incorrect license numbers. I have requested the original documents over and over. With no results only harming calls, they got my number from when I initially called to inquire why they were on my report. Consumer Complaint: The reason for this letter in dispute of the operating practices, misleading information and fraudulent activity bestowed on me by the Credit Acceptance Corporation. To wit : At or near the beginning of this Pandemic, I contacted this company via telephone, and was informed by a manager, ( named XXXX ) that due to the current crisis they would defer any actions against their clients as it relates to making payments at that time. I was told that " If '' I was able to make even a partial payment to do so. If not they would defer until the crisis was over. I contacted them again in XXXX, to make arrangements to bring my account current, because I had been unable to make my payment ( s ) during the Pandemic. At this time they requested that I pay them {$6400.00} on or before XX/XX/2021. ( See Enclosed Agreement Letter ). I was promised by them that if I was able to make this extremely large payment, my account would be brought current and my account would be in very good standing. I paid them the entire amount that they requested, by the day they requested. XXXX XX/XX/2021 Bill from company. Cleary states " NO PAST DUE AMOUNT ' After doing so and thinking that I had done everything they requested of me. I was appalled upon review of my credit to find that even though they told me. 1. That they would defer the payments until after the Pandemic. 2. That my account was in good standing. 3. There would be no penalties for not making payments during the crisis. THEY STILL REPORTED MY PAYMENTS 60, 90, 120 DAYS LATE. Totally contrary to what they told me or what expected from them. In closing I would request that this company do right by their customers. They should not be able to, on one hand state you dont have to make payments and then penalize a customer for doing exactly that. Then finally when they requested over {$6000.00} I paid it to keep myself and my credit in good standing. But this payment did neither. This company and their praticies should be sanctioned in some manner for misleading and subsequently penalizing their customers for doing exactly what they agreed to allow. And they need to correct " All ' misinformation supplied by them to the different credit reporting agencies.. Please Advise.. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX. Consumer Complaint: I have been recieving phone calls for months, they will call twice in the morning and twice in the evening all week long. This is interrupting my life while on other important call, at work, praying, family time. This is completely disrespectful and against the law. I am exercising my rights as Credit Acceptance Corporation has violated my right under 15 usc 1692c subsection ( 1 ) and ( 3 ) I never gave Credit Acceptance Corporation any prior consent to communicate to me. Credit Acceptance Corporation had also violated 15 usc 1692d subsection ( 1 ) by threat of use of other criminal means to harm property of any person. Subsection ( 2 ) The use of obscene language. Subsection ( 5 ) Causing a telephone to ring. XXXX1 was the last day I notified they to not contact me while on the phone I had to let them know it's a violation under 15 usc 1692c.
