Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance continue to report inadequate information on my report, The car was a lemon only drove the car for two day and the engine locked up at XXXX XXXX i was having new tires placed on it. I had a warranty and they refuse to repair the car. they wanted me to pay out of pocket for XXXX shop broke down the engine and tell them why the engine transmission locked up. XXXX told me that would cost more than the car is worth to do that. i gave them the car back in may they picked it up from XXXX XXXX were i had it tow to. The dispute department XXXX called me and tell that there was nothing they could do and she also Statement if this will make me feel better they have stop using XXXX XXXX. this the place i bought the car from XXXX

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I logged into the Credit Acceptance website as I always do and I paid my final car note which I have proof of. I paid the full balance of what was showing on the site at that time. A few days later I was alerted that there was a late payment reported to my credit. When I called Credit Acceptance to inquire about the late payment they stated that I had a {$18.00} balance that I was unaware of and that was not showing on their website when I paid my bill, however I paid the {$18.00}. I was never 30 days late paying my car note and I would like my credit report updated. I have proof that the payment was paid at the time I stated which will not make it 30 days late.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am trying to get to the bottom of this and I would appreciate a less combative response due to your last acknowledgment titled 'Final Response '. This is not an emotional response. So, please read attached files to clarify what I am requesting in regards to additional information due to the last report leaving me hanging with unanswered questions. The Retail Installment contract by definition is installment credit, meaning the seller ( Credit Acceptance LLC ) ordinarily exacts finance charges scheduling payments to be repaid in XXXX or more payments at regular intervals. Now, the finance charge to my understanding is the SUM of ALL charges in my consumer credit transaction. I am sorry to inform you that the information you are sending me is not fair and accurate and is in fact moving us away further from the truth. Allow me to get us back on track. In the contract it states I purchased the vehicle using CREDIT. Please understand I know exactly what I am stating- and it's the truth and I need to contact someone of higher statue who knows the truth about what is going on here. & I QUOTE " You have agreed to buy this vehicle from us on CREDIT for the total sale price ___ ... " So, to be clear I am very well aware that CASH IS NOT A PAYABLE TYPE- ACCEPTED IN ANY CREDIT TRANSACTION.. So again, why are you charging my debt card and not my credit card which is my social security card which funds ALL my credit transactions? Nowhere does it state that you have the authorization to mark any payment late under my credit card account period. Everything is already paid for with my social security card which is my unlimited open ended credit card defined by congress.

Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance is a horrible company, I have never been 2 payments delinquent, I had one payment that was late, and even talked to them on the phone about it, but they demolished my credit, they are an absolutely horrible company, with no sense of morality, and they only report your credit when they feel like it, or something goes wrong, until then you're XXXX, and good luck getting them to update it monthly as well. They charge atrocious and outrageous fees at every turn on top of your payments, and don't want you to succeed in paying it off. They target those struggling, or those in desperation, and think that they can't defend themselves.

Consumer Complaint: Yes I have a car loan through credit acceptance. I have paid on this car loan XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. Through the mail. For as I don't trust this company with my bank account. My total car loan for each month is XXXX but every month I buy a money order for {$330.00} which is more than the car loan. I send it through XXXX every month on the XXXX because I am on XXXX and on a set income. They gave me a due date of the XXXX. I called this company and explained to them my situation. While I'm on the phone they are either rude to me a just blatantly lie. One gentleman told me he would up the payment to the XXXX yet when my bill came in it was still set for the XXXX. For the first three months I got no late fee and where I was paying XXXX I was knocked down to XXXX. Well come XXXX they tell me rudely on the phone I was over due. And rudely typed loudly and repeatedly insenuatuing that I need to be quiet. Exact words were " you need to hold on cause I'm explaining it to you. '' Then they was told you guys would be contacted and that's when the lady vigorously and loudly started typing and being very rude. The first three payment came in between 5-6 days and XXXX payment was over 11 days late. When asked why that was the lady rudely applied with the answer that they wasn't the mail carrier and that when the payment are received she can't help or have control on how long they are processes. I have read the reviews on this company and should have read them before the car loan but trusted a dealership would have not set me up with such a rude and hateful company. The reviews that show are true because that's what has happened to me. I need this car but I am terrified that I'm going to pay for this car and they pull another stunt like they've been pulling. I really need help.. Thanks
