Consumer Complaint: My husband and I are paying a substantial amount on a used vehicle. We are supposed to pay a monthly payment of {$570.00} dollars. We fell on hardship and called to see if we could lower our payments they said no they couldnt. Upon checking our lease agreement we noticed there is different numbers on our agreement versus our credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance is my lien holder they repossessed my car XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX they did not even knock on my door and ask for the keys I called them and told them they better not charge my account for an ignition because that's uncalled for I've talked to them many of times I did not know that they were coming to get it I knew it was in repossession stage they kept telling me if you make a payment of {$260.00} we won't repossess it and I asked them if they could put that in writing and they said they couldn't do that I said well then I'm not sending you no money if you can't put that in writing I feel that they violated my rights because I've got nothing in the US mail whatsoever nothing at all and today is the XXXX or the XXXX of XXXX and I still have not received nothing in the mail they're taking my credit right through the mud I've gotten different figures on the website and there's different figures on my credit report I'm disputing my credit right now and I think I'm going to have to write a letter the interest rate on this car is 22.99 % the purchase price of the car was {$5900.00} but because he had a gap insurance and didn't tell me that they're going to charge my account interest and the warranty which was {$1600.00} so by the time everything adds up it was like {$8300.00} they charged my account {$9.00} XXXX and some dollars for it says other charges and amounts and and they charged me a document fee of XXXX I just feel that with the money that I already paid on the car the car was 51 % paid off they didn't even take the Gap that I canceled within 30 days of having the car I called them and told them I wanted to cancel it they told me that they would take that off the loan they have not done that yet the motor blew in the car the motor blew XX/XX/XXXX in the morning about XXXX in the morning when I was coming going to town the oil light came on and I still don't understand it because I took very good care of that car I love that car but I don't I think they were very unfair with the interest rate now that the situation with the card and the motor you know I mean I called them I was talking to them often at least once a week to give them an update I wasn't trying to avoid them at all but they were calling me in between constantly and I asked him why do you have to do that you already know my situation you know I call and update and they're always real snotty with me I was on the phone one day with them crying my tears hard begging they wouldn't budge and I don't think that's fair you know when I first got the car I was desperate and when you're desperate you know you don't really don't care I figured well my car payments are decent you know so yeah but I thought that was kind of weird when I sat down in his office and you already had everything filled out and I thought well maybe he's in a hurry you know but now that I've got time to think and do some research the salesperson was not clear on a lot of different things and I'm going to absolutely go to their website and do a review on them because I think other people should know that the gap insurance and the warranty you're going to pay interest on that I don't understand how these dealerships need holders get away with that I am so hurt by this but even with me calling them once a week to give them an update they would call me five six times a week that's crazy and then on Sundays as well that's terrible I just wish I would have known a little bit more about interest rates back when I first bought the car because I would have talked to the sales person a little bit try to get it down a little bit but I really didn't know much about it I knew I had bad credit because I have student loans I also read online during my research to about the top notice I really think Credit Acceptance needs to be investigated for sure because other people you know there's a lot of people out there that probably don't even know or they don't care but I don't have money to throw away if I can attach anything that I have to this email I will attach it if I can't I will have to go to my regular email and attach it that way and this is my email address XXXX I know I'm forgetting a couple important things that I needed to include but I can't think right now I'm so exhausted with dealing with us oh they didn't even tell me where the car was located they didn't even tell me I called them after they had repossessed it I gave it the next day and then I called and when I asked him where the car was located they didn't even answer me I'm sure there's other couple other things too I'm just forgetting it's just it's been a long period since since that happened to that car to my motor is but it's been a very exhausting but all together with the interest and everything it was well over XXXX and this is for a XXXX and my personal opinion they took full advantage of me if I can think of anything else I will send well I'm Consumer Complaint: I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from a used dealer and the price on the car window said XXXX, I paid XXXX to hold it and would come back with the rest of my XXXX down payment. The truck had XXXX miles. When I went back the price doubled and now the loan was for XXXX, but I needed a car very bad so I purchased. Right away the truck started giving me problems it kept cutting off I took it back and they were booked for maintenance. This happed in XXXX. Because the car kept cutting off while driving I started changing the battery and alternator nothing worked. I started to be late for work and eventually was fired when the truck left me stranded on the side of XXXX XXXX on my way to work. I called Credit Acceptance Corp explained what happened and was asked to do a voluntary repossession and what ever they sold the truck for I would end up not having to pay anything else on it. I got behind due to Loss wages from the truck cutting off. Now fast forward Credit acceptance has been garnishing my work checks I get government assistance so I'm exempt in Wisconsin from garnishment but they have been aggressive since XXXX and are currently garnishing me now we go back to court in XXXX. I also later found out there was a defect recall on the model XXXX I had and that's why it kept cutting off so I was sold a recalled lemon. I really need help with all the wages I have lost I'm currently facing eviction cause my checks are so short from their garnishment.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a used car ( my first car ), I was scammed. The vehicle broke down on me and the company I brought it from wasn't trying to help at all. I was charged XXXX for a used XXXX XXXX with XXXX miles on it. I had no clue about buying cars. I kept trying to refinance and no one not even credit acceptance would refinance. The car ended up breaking completely down. I willingly told them to come get the car, after I had already paid it down to about XXXX. They took the car and resold it for ( how much I don't know ) but they never took that balance off my loan. This was in XXXX. Here we are in XXXX and this company is still falsely reporting to the credit bureau that I'm missing payments. They closed the loan every time I call and have my lawyer call and then reopen it and say I'm missed a payment constantly damaging my credit. They have been doing this for years. It has to stop. I never agreed to another payment against after I have the vehicle back and they are constantly reporting false information to the credit bureau.
