Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX, a federally protected consumer, and I am making this complaint against XXXX for committing identity theft. I have never given XXXX any permission to use any of my identifying information to commit mail fraud by contacting me about an alleged debt they claim I owe. I am aware that in accordance with Article 9, the assignment of a defaulted note is illegal. Both the assignee and the assigned are both liable for violations under 15 U.S. Code 1692e ( 12 ). I have never received any documentation requesting validation from XXXX. before they committed multiple violations under the FCRA and the FDCPA by furnishing this alleged debt to my consumer report including but not limited to 15 U.S. Code 1692d ( 4 ) which the FTC defines as debt parking. If XXXX XXXX can not provide me with proof such as a tracking number that they attempted to lawfully validate this alleged debt with me, the consumer, prior to furnishing it on my consumer report, this has been a fraudulently furnished account with forethought and malice as an attempt to bring harm to me and my financial reputation. I am legally refusing to pay this debt pursuant to 1692c ( c ). I am demanding a cease and desist of all illegal activity, any communication and collection activity ( this includes furnished data through my consumer reports ), of this and any alleged debts until XXXX can provide me with sufficient documentary evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay them. If this documentary evidence can not be produced and XXXX continues its collection efforts, I will file for litigation for actual damages caused and XXXX will be held criminally liable for aggravated identity theft pursuant to 18 USC 1028A, extortion, theft by deception, securities fraud, and mail fraud. Upon the receipt of the documents herein and of this notice, you are hereby notified Pursuant UCC 1-202f. Your prompt attention and response are both requested and required. I advise XXXX to use proper methods of communication including certified mail. Also if Convergent is the third party debt collection agency, I advise them to stop using deceptive means by falsely representing XXXX on my consumer reports. Please refer to 15 USC 1692e ( 14 ) my credit report will validate this violation and suit will be brought forward. I wasn't made aware that the company furnished the information to my credit report in XXXX of XXXX but initial communication with me didn't begin until XXXX of XXXX. There are multiple violations to 15 USC 1692 ( g ) ( a ) ( 3-5 ). Also if the collection claims that an initial communication was sent prior to XXXX of XXXX, please include the certified mail tracking numbers and return receipt that such mail was indeed sent and delivered. Failure to do so will be represented as mail fraud which is a federal offense. Also according to 15 USC 1692g ( c ) the failure of a consumer to dispute the validity of a debt does not convert to an admission of liability. Please again remove this information from my credit reports to avoid the further pursuit of legal litigations.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 Convergent Outsourcing has been absolutely destroying my staggering reputation by reporting false information for years. I have reached out to them numerous times about this situation. Convergent Outsourcing Still hasnt fixed there mistakes. In accordance with the fair credit act Convergent Outsourcing Account # XXXX XXXX has violated my rights. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A section 2 : It also states that a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. Convergent Outsourcing has used my report improperly for long enough XXXX already deleted this account from my report now its XXXX XXXX XXXX still reporting false information for years.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, a XXXX wireless service was canceled over the phone. The customer service representative told would send the bill to pay any final balance on the account. On XX/XX/2022, according to the letter received from Covergent Outsourcing , Inc. from XXXX, WA. sent a collection letter for the canceled account from XXXX. I am writing because XXXX never informed me that the account would be forwarded to the collection and never attempted to collect the bill before sending the account to collections. They canceled the service, and five days later, the account was sent to collections without any information. The balance was paid on XX/XX/2022. I am just upset about the procedure by XXXX by sending to collection my account without any notification.

Consumer Complaint: We moved to our current address and decided to go to XXXX to purchase cell phones. We did and we were promised that we would have perfect service at our address. We get home and sure enough we did not have ANY service at our house. We called and went to store were told we had to try a XXXX XXXX XXXX at our house to help the signal. Waited for that to come in the mail all while not having a phone that worked. XXXX XXXX finally arrived paid an electrician to install device. The cell spot booster DID NOT HELP. So we went to store told them about the issues again. Spoke to managers. He said to call XXXX again. Called XXXX let them know we are not able to use our new phones anywhere on our property. Spoke to numerous individuals many different days purchased internet boosters for our house to see if that would help. Nothing we tried worked. So we had no choice but to return all equipment and cancel phone plans. I was promised by many XXXX personnel that the charges would be taken off and account closed. Finally spoke to manager XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX over the phone and said there would not be anything charged or anything pending on the account. To ignore anything that comes in that I was not liable. Started to receive collection letters from Convergent as well as bills from XXXX and negative hits on my credit report. Continuing to call XXXX to advise that I was told account was going to be closed and all changes dropped. Still has not happened. Spoke to XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and Finally XXXX all at XXXX. Besides going to the store 3x spoke to XXXX and XXXX. Spoke to XXXX at customer service again last week she said she would escalate issue because she saw the notes in system and no usage on any of the cell phones or plan and that a manager would call me back. Called back yesterday and was told they couldnt do it on their end that I had to call convergent to file a dispute package. So here we are. I do not owe this company and have never had a negative credit report. I pay my bills. If I were responsible for these charges I would have paid. But refuse to pay when I was told just return and nothing will be charged if I didnt have service at our house. I returned all equipment to XXXX and verified it was received by them. I am Not responsible for this debt.

Consumer Complaint: Convergent Outsourcing continues to call my place of employment last call was today XX/XX/XXXX in the AM, calling my personal cell phone multiples times a day, and has sent emails on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I replied to the first email from XX/XX/XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX with the attached letter stating this debt is not mine and I am requesting proof in an itemized bill with my signature that shows the debt is mine. I informed them this is the law, and they are not to contact me until I they provide the documentation requested. In addition to sending via email I mailed a hard copy of the letter on XX/XX/XXXX. I have continued to receive calls and emails, but no documentation as requested. Today I filed a complaint on their website submitted through their internal form stating I sent them a letting via mail and email on XX/XX/XXXX requesting no contact until written verification of the debt is provided. They continue to violate the FDCPA guidelines and continue to refuse to provide requested information while harassing me at my place of employment, email, and personal cell phone, I would like the information requested to prove I do not owe this debt and my credit remains free and clear, until that information is provided, I would like Convergent to no longer call my cell phone, place of employment, email me, or reach out other than in writing with the information requested. Convergent email me on XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I responded to Covergents email on XXXX, mailed hard copy of letter on XXXX and responded on XX/XX/XXXX they are not to contact me per my letter until I receive written documentation that is itemized and has my signature. To this date I have not received any documentation. Convergent called my place of employment on XX/XX/XXXX Convergent calls my cell phone daily.

Their account was recently updated on XX/XX/XXXX reporting XXXX different open dates of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Demanding unverified amounts of {$640.00}, {$980.00}, and {$980.00}. Please be advised that Convergent Outsourcing are not Holders in Due Course ; no services or goods were received from Convergent Outsourcing and I have not agreed to pay/tender anything to Convergent Outsourcing on behalf of their alleged client for any reason. Convergent Outsourcing presented me with an offer on XX/XX/XXXX requesting a reduced amount opportunity of 65 %. I replied via XXXX certified mail with a notarized validation notice. Convergent Outsourcing has not responded and has continued to report their unverified collection account to my credit files. Convergent Outsourcing have not provided valid documents or itemized statements VIA MAIL proving I owe a debt to them with contractual proof. I have not provided signed wet-ink releases of my private information to Convergent Outsourcing. Convergent Outsourcing does not have my permission to contact me on my private phone line attempting to collect on debts that do not belong to me. I will reply VIA MAIL and I can only be contacted via mail. Convergent Outsourcings reply outside of the CFPBs portal, must be delivered via the postal service. If the envelope is not properly stamped by the postmaster ; it will be returned to sender due to mail code violations. I will upload proof also. Please abide by all mail codes. THE COMPANY, CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING, PURCHASED AN ALLEGED DEBT FORM SOME OTHER COMPANY. I HAD NO INVOLVEMENT WITH THIS TRANSACTION. Whereas I believe them to be a debt buyer, Convergent outsourcing, must operate under the FDCPA. I am requesting all DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE including all ledgers, books of accounts, that pertains to account XXXX. Failure to provide such documentary evidence is a clear violation of 12 cfr 1026.13 ( a ) ( 6 ) as I am invoking my right to obtain it in accordance with 15 usc 44.
