Consumer Complaint: After having months of issues with the vehicle after just recently purchasing it, I decided to go back over my contract. I realized that there where some direct violations and discrimination of my rights. 1-stolen downpayment of {$50000.00} 2-Coherced into putting a large doenpament 3-Rushed to sign an agreement that I could not read at the time of signing but was told the vehicle would be gone of I dont sign now. 4-Vehicle having hidden issues that showed up within the first 6-12 months., 5-Though I pay CapitalOne for the car note, I have NO CONTRACT between myself and Capital ONE at all. I only have a contract between myself and XXXX XXXX XXXX, the dealerships main company. 6-Violations of TX codes : 215.250 using terms to such as Price was this now that, Bluebook value is and Now, Original MSRP was this, Now that. These terms where used at time of sale. according to the TX CODE 215.250 such terms can not be used to coherse buyers for a pushed sale. 7-The agreement has 1 signature from myslef and none from Capital One. 8-CapitalOne has no contra t or agreementr with myself only the desalership.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a credit limit increase on my Capital One Platinum credit card on XX/XX/2023. I was denied later that day. The reason given in the declination letter was " There is legal action pending against the applicant. '' This is not only untrue, but it is potentially damaging to my reputation. There is no pending legal action against me. I called Capital One and spoke with a representative to get clarification. After a brief hold, I was told by the rep, who spoke with their manager, that they are unable to access my personal records or give me any other clarification ; I was told to contact the credit bureaus. This was an unacceptable and evasive non-solution. Capital One accessed some form of information and used it against me in this credit decision, yet somehow they can not divulge said information to me? Incidentally, I did access my credit reports from XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX just to check, and none of them report any public record or legal action pending against me. I demand to know the basis for this denial. Since it was used against me, I have a right to know.

Consumer Complaint: I HAVE A FEW CREDIT CARDS FROM CAPITAL ONE FOR OVER 20 YEARS WITH A SCORE FROM THE 3 CREDIT BUREAUS OF XXXX. I ALWAYS PAID THE FULL AMOUNT ON TIME. THIS CREDIT CARD COMPANY CALL ME OVER A LOT OF TIMES TO KEEP INCREASING THE CREDIT AMOUNTS IF I PAY ONLY THE MINIMUM AMOUNT, AND I TOLD THEM NO. THEY WERE HARASSING ME. LAST XXXX I HAD SOME REPAIRS ON MY CAR FOR AN AMOUNT OF APPX {$1300.00} AND THE PEOPLE FIXING IT THEY DID A VERY BAD JOB .I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY THE BILL IN ORDER TO GET MY CAR BACK. IMMEDIATELLY I NOTIFIED CAPITAL ONE TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES. THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD TAKE 60 DAYS FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. I ASKED THEM TO SEND ME A REPORT OF OUR CONVERSATION THEY SAID THEY WILL IN ABOUT TEN DAYS. THE REPORT NEVER CAME. I CALLED THEM IN XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2022 XXXX 2022 NOTHING. CAPITAL ONE NEVER CREDITED MY ACCOUNT FOR THE AMOUNT OF {$1300.00}.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX RE : Adverse Action Dear Capital One N.A., I, the consumer and natural person, was denied credit by Capital One N.A . when I applied for a credit card. Adverse action against a consumer is AGAINST THE LAW according to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act which is codified in 15 U.S.C 1691c and is pursuant to civil liability under 15 U.S.C 1692k. You are subject to criminally liability for violating 15 U.S.C 1691 as I have proof that i was discriminated against by Capital One N.A. due to the response I received. Capital One N.A. is in violation of 15 U.S. Code 1642, U.S.C 1681m and 12 cfr 1002 because I, the consumer, made an application in good faith, but credit was not issued. Furthermore, because my social security number ( credit card ) was used and i received NO benefit. This is proof of fraudulent activity ( unauthorized use of credit card ) on behalf of Capital One N.A. If Capital One N.A. fails to make any reasonable procedures to resolve this matter and compensate me for the use of my credit card I will indeed make Capital One N.A. criminally and civilly liable for all actual damages pursuant to 15 USC 1681n and 15 USC 1681o. Under 15 USC 1681, section 602, states I have the right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 section 604A section 2 it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. Under 15 USC 1666b a creditor may not treat payment on a credit account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.

Consumer Complaint: I received a call first week in XXXX stating it was Capital One about a debt consolidation. He knew my account number, my balance, even my SS number. I told him several times I was not interested and hung up. A few days later Capital One sent me an email that my account was closed per my direction!!!! I have reached out to them multiple times and reported all this to their fraud and abuse department without answer. Now they are saying my payment is late and charging a late fee even though it was on auto payment through them. I stopped the auto pay and made payments thru my bank a week ahead of due date and they cancelled my payment and sent me an email stating my payment was late and again charged me a late fee. Please help me because Capital One will not. Apparently I am not the only one having issues if you look at social media.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, On XXXX XXXX, I purchased an TV from XXXX through a 3rd party company ( XXXX ). This tv came out to be {$320.00} which is normally divided into 4 payments which I was ok with. The first payment came out to be {$81.00}. Everything went well and few hours later XXXX sent an email that this package was supposed to be delivered by XX/XX/XXXX. I waited XX/XX/XXXX and nothing was delivered. I waited a few days later, I even tried to reach XXXX, but they stated that they sent the package to XXXX and XXXX was supposed to be delivering the package. Thereafter, after a few days have passed, I went to the XXXX website, but the notifications stated that this packaged was never picked up and that it was still in the XXXX distribution center. Therefore, I contacted XXXX & stated to cancel this order, since it would never get here. They didnt seem to care, so I contacted XXXX & my bank ( Capital One ) to obtain some kind of resolution. My bank started the disputed transaction and a few days later I obtained a temporary credit on my account for {$81.00}. Keep in mind, I used XXXX as a 3rd Party company, since about 2 months before, I lost my home due to a house fire & needed multiples items to obtain for my rental home. After a few weeks later, XXXX finally concluded that they were wrong and refunded the money, but since the bank contacted XXXX. XXXX closed the file on this account & stated that this transaction was legit and they thought that I was already given the refund, which is totally incorrect. The temporary credit that was given to me by the bank. They took it back even though, I am still owed {$81.00} for an item I never received. The bank denied my case and at this moment are doing an investigation. The bank is keeping my {$81.00} hostage for the money I am owed. I have all the proof from XXXX and XXXX, but the bank dont seem to understand.

Upon lawful request and in conjunction with my consumer rights, I have demanded that Capita One cease trafficking defaming and falsified statements to nonaffiliated third parties pursuant the FCRA and the Gramm Bliley Leach Act, but Capital One has refused to do so. Capital One never afforded the opportunity to avoid such communication and trafficking of my information. Capital One is intentionally ruining my credibility and reputation in order to coerce payment on an account that I do not own. Capital One has violated various FCRA laws including reporting items on a credit report that should not have been reported in the first place pursuant to 15 USC 1681a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ), 15 USC 1681a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( C ) AND 15 USC 1666.
