Consumer Complaint: Capital One Credit Card last 4 with XXXX. It is a Bass Pro Card. Major problem with this card. Four separate orders were fraudulently made. Capital One charged me for three even after I emailed all the companies. In fact several said the items were sent to a different address than mine. I had a couple things I did received and returned. Capital One charged me anyway even though I closed the card and reported it.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, my is XXXX XXXX and Im contacting you guys about a complaint I would like to make against Capital One Credit Card. On XX/XX/2022 I paid {$5000.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to train me on how to drive commercial vehicles and was supposed to be complete when I received my CDL. Before I could complete the program the school had closed down. I made many attempts to contact the school via emails, voicemails, phone calls and even went to the yard where we trained but no one was there and I was unsuccessful because no one was responding to my messages. So after I saw I was being ripped off I contacted Capital One and informed them on what was going on. Capital One made attempts to reach the merchants and was also unsuccessful. Then Capital One gave me the run around by removing the charges from my account and then putting the charges back on my account stating that I should contact the merchant myself knowing that the merchant is longer in business. Capital One also lied to me by saying they contacted the merchant and when I asked how they told me They have their own way of contacting merchants, but in reality they didnt talk to anyone. What Capital One did was call a third party called XXXX XXXX which is an automated number responsible for giving receipts on transactions made but are not the merchants that charged me. Capital One sent me a letter saying that they will not remove the charge and for me to contact the merchant and my response to them was How can I contact the merchant if they went out of business and no one is available to talk to and Capital One couldn't answer that question. Will you please help me resolve this issue. My email is XXXX. Also the I showed Capital One that the school XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was being investigated by the Bureau for XXXX XXXX XXXX, but Capital One didn't care. Thank you and enjoy your day.

Consumer Complaint: On Kohl 's credit card, I had setup automatic payments for the statement balance for every month. The credit card ( Kohl 's ) shut off the automatic payments and did not inform me. I pay ALL of my cards statement balances off every month. Since the automatic payments was turned off by them, the minimum payment was not made and the card became 30 days overdue and reported it to the credit agencies, this made my XXXX XXXX score drop to XXXX and move me from excellent credit to good. I spoke with Kohl 's but they said they will not do anything about it.

I have no violated any terms and conditions, the employees that I have talked to at capital one are unable to see why I would have my card closed. I always pay my card in full on time. I just paid the {$390.00} annual fee without any benefit uses since paying the annual fee. They also deleted all of my reward points. They attempted to escalate this and said they were not able to see the exact reason this was closed. I feel like this is a scam to keep rewards and annual fees from clients as this is a known issue with Capital One ( closing cards without being able to give a specific reason ).

I found out about this situation in XX/XX/XXXX after receiving several credit application denial letters that I was utterly unaware of and didn't authorize. Afterward, after reviewing my credit report is when I become aware of this credit card account along with others that I didn't authorize.
