Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have been calling, and sending letters to Capital One credit card company for over 6 months up until XX/XX/XXXX. I called Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with an agent about the XXXX late payments on my credit report, I asked why were they reported, and the agent responded that the payment was made on the XXXX, or XXXX when the due date is the XXXX of every month. For those 3 months XXXX, XXXX, & XX/XX/XXXX, I called the company and let them know that I wasn't receiving my entire paycheck because of the pandemic. I was making payments but not the full amount. After the XXXX late payments, I have never been late known after. My account is still open and is in good standing. Also, the agent has removed a late payment and refunded my account for the late payment I was charged, and she was unable to do the others because the date was over 60 days, which is not true after reading the consumer law. All 3 credit bureaus are reporting late payments.

Consumer Complaint: Inaccurate information is being reported to my credit report, capital one is reporting that my wife account which Iam a secondary card holder is late since XX/XX/2023 which is inaccurate, we have made all payments on time. She has called several times and they capital one Walmart card also see that it being paid in time. The agents which I have recorded the conversation state that they also agree that the information is inaccurate and should be changed. They state they have forwarded my complaint to the capital one Walmart card supervisor. This now XX/XX/2023 and there is no change. Please help with this issue. They are hurting my credit report and me and causing me pain and suffering. Because there illegal actions I have been denied credit and accounts have been closed and interest have gone up on the other accounts. At this moment they are taking advantage of me and my wife and are retaliating against us for no reason.

Consumer Complaint: I was given a bill that was due by XX/XX/XXXX with an amount. I paid off that amount on XX/XX/XXXX. Now I was charged {$76.00} interest. Im not understanding if I have a payoff amount why that isnt the full amount I understand if I didnt pay off the amount they wouldve been able to charge interest but when they give me an amount due and I pay it off, there should be no interest charged. It seems to me. This is false advertising with a payoff amount due the purpose of a credit card they gain interest if you dont pay off the amount but if you do, it should be XXXX void. I am seeking reimbursement for the interest, they charged me.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a received the Capital One Savor card in just this month XX/XX/XXXX in anticipation of a trip to XXXX from our home in XXXX, AL. It was one of several credit cards we considered that do not have foreign transaction fees, which are 3 % with our bank XXXX XXXX. After successfully using the card for the first XXXX days of our trip on many transactions including our hotel, meals and museums, the card suddenly became restricted and could no longer be used as of XX/XX/XXXX. We received an email notifying us of the restriction and to call them asap - though they opened near 18 hours later. We called as soon as they opened and were told there was no concern of fraud they just wanted to verify my identity- and the only way to unrestricted the account was to provide copies of my drivers license, social security card, and proof of residence. I didnt travel with my social security card ( not that Id want to give them a copy anyhow ), so am unable to give them their requested documentation. I escalated through to a manager and tried to offer any other identification such as my passport and was refused. They also could not tell me what made them restrict the card without verifying my identity in this way only. Now we are stuck without the card for the remainder of the trip and will pay foreign transaction fees on the remainder of our purchases through our departure on XXXX. Banks are closed here til day before we leave Tuesday the XXXX. My only other credit card to earn rewards is an XXXX which is accepted almost nowhere here. I feel the injury is both the loss of rewards access and the 3 % Ill be paying on remaining purchases with XXXX XXXX debit.

We ask to contact the North Carolina Department of Revenue in resolving this issue we escalated to the claims department a case was already updated the payment voucher was declaring was not sent in and ask to review with the 2021 payment was sent in. So I ask to review the XXXX XXXX with the department of claims with the case number and ask them why the payment was not updated with the case.So send the case ID and update the registration with the claims department. Our government payment voucher was sent in with a case ID and update with a restoration officer with case ID and mailed in the review without updating the rest with the claim department with the case open because it settled out upon review in updating the claim at hand. So we give our update on the paper in the missing XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXeturn with the case number and ask XXXX XXXX XXXX appoint the case number with the XXXX XXXX payment voucher to update the claim we did not owe was sent with the case ID from the XXXX XXXX payment voucher with the case ID review claim number payment voucher sent in on the investigation. As I can see we should update the review with the attorney with the North Carolina Department XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I received a call from XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX, FL. I fell for their claim of getting me at least {$9600.00} - XXXX for investing {$2300.00}. He said they would resell my 6 Bonus Weeks from XXXX XXXX. I only recevied couple of their so called dubious offers after 60 days of calling them 3-4 times. They just pick random resorts that don't have vacancy until the end of year. Now they are not returning the amount of {$2300.00} that I paid upfornt. The capital one credict card dispute center is not willing to help me even after I sent them all the documents that they requested. I had been working with them for the past 2 months but to no avail. a ) The agreement says that they will be advertising the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX, XXXX as per the agreement but they sent me request from fictitious renters for other resorts. Also, I received the offer after 60 days of calling them 3-4 times. Hence, I havent received the service that they promised in the contract. b ) There are others who are victims of this scam. The comments ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) from other victims of XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX corroborate my conclusion that they scam people by claiming to give high return ( $ XXXX {$10000.00} ) on low investment ( {$2300.00} ). All victims were scammed during the same time frame ( XX/XX/2022 ) as me. Many others are in the process of disputing it with their credit card companies. c ) I could never contact XXXX XXXX after the first phone call in spite of multiple attempts. There is no signature from him on the XXXX XXXX agreement though his name appears there. I am sure that the telemarketers use phony names. One of the other victims also was scammed by XXXX XXXX. d ) The business address ( XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, FL ) on the agreement is different from that on the email ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL ) that I have been getting. Thus, pointing to a scam operation. e ) The agreement stated that they would be advertising the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX through XXXX, XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX etc. However, I havent received any evidence of the XXXX resort being advertised anywhere except verbally on phone for convincing me to sign the agreement. This is another instance of no service being provided as per the agreement.
