Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, My monthly note with Wells Fargo was set at {$630.00}. I paid Wells Fargo 4 payments {$2500.00} in advance in XXXX and wanted that money to go toward my principle note, instead Wells Fargo put that money toward my next 4 payments. I was was told I didn't owe a payment for the next 4 months, so I didn't make a payment for the next 4 months. I've been paying {$670.00} - {$700.00} every month since I purchased the vehicle. I received a letter stating that Wells Fargo had reversed my payment and put it toward the principal note and that I was 4 months behind on my payments. I then began receiving calls that my vehicle was up for repossession. I called Wells Fargo several times and asked them what does " reversing my payment '' mean. I never got a explanation. Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX I went outside to go to work and my truck was my gone. I called Wells Fargo and was treated like a criminal. They took my truck. I've been researching Wells Fargo 's history and found that in XXXX they were found guilty of several repo 's that shouldn't have taken place. Please help me ASAP. I'm not a bad guy!! Thanks in advance.

This is an important initial step for accountability and long-term reform of this repeat offender. Wells Fargo ( XXXX : WFC ) is one of the nation 's largest banks serving households across the country. The bank was aware of the problem for years before it ultimately addressed the issue. Illegally charged surprise overdraft fees : For years, Wells Fargo unfairly charged surprise overdraft fees - fees charged even though consumers had enough money in their account to cover the transaction at the time the bank authorized it - on debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals. As early as 2015, the CFPB, as well as other federal regulators, including the Federal Reserve, began cautioning financial institutions against this practice, known as authorized positive fees. Consumer Complaint: I am continually being charged overdrafts fees XXXX XXXXXXXX per month on transactions I have not authorized. I have had Wells Fargo disable all overdraft fee protection features and they continue to authorize transactions I have told them not to. When I attempted to fix this with their customer service they attempt to " refund '' 50 % of the overdraft fees and I am forced to agree to this in order to recoup the half of the money. I refuse to agree to this " deal '' and I can tell they are attempting to get me to forfeit my rights as a consumer to do so. I am not liable for any of these fees as I have told them to never authorize the transactions in the first place.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX my payment was increased from {$490.00} to {$530.00}. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this increase at first. It wasn't until XX/XX/XXXX that it became evident that they had increased my bill and that is when I called them. In XX/XX/XXXX they increased it additionally to {$600.00}. I called them and was told that they had not increased it but the Insurance company had increased my premiums causing the increase to my premiums with Wells Fargo. Of course, I called my insurance company and also checked my property tax as well and neither one had increased and Wells Fargo refused to reduce the payment. Within four months my payment had increased by over {$100.00} and we were stuck paying it.
