Consumer Complaint: My Wells Fargo credit card was stolen and I got an unauthorized charge on XX/XX/year> for {$1300.00} at the XXXX store in XXXX XXXX. I filed a claim with Wells Fargo and the fraud team suggested me to file a police report so they can obtain the camera footage at the store. I did what they request and Wells Fargo rejected my claim stating that they received a confirmation text to authorize the charge on XX/XX/year> while I did not receive any text message nor email. I also did not confirm to authorize the transaction. I tried to find a different way to prove that I was not indeed authorize the charge and Wells Fargo keeps rejecting my case with the same letter indicating that I authorized the charge. I mentioned with Wells Fargo that they requested me to obtain the police report so they can obtain the camera footage but they told me they doesn't have the authority to do that. Wells Fargo suggested me to do it instead which was impossible because store doesn't release security footage for regular citizen. The request has to come from the credit card or police. Wells Fargo misguided me during the claim process by saying that if I reported the case to the police and obtain the case number, they can help me with the claim. It was totally false, they did not help me with the claim and keep sending me the same letter with the same information. Also during the fraud claim process, the interest keeps accumulated and they mentioned that it would be waived but I don't see Wells Fargo waive the interest charge along with late fees.

Consumer Complaint: While visiting XXXX on vacation, my phone was stolen on the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX. After stealing my phone, the perpetrator was able to gain access to all of my online accounts and drained my checking account, made purchases through multiple apps, and did a {$4000.00} cash advance using my Wells Fargo Visa XXXX XXXX card. On XX/XX/XXXX before leaving XXXX XXXX XXXX home, I had to purchase a used phone and then was able to see all of the damage done. On XX/XX/XXXX after a lot of back and forth with Wells Fargo, they concluded that the claim was valid and made the funds returned to me final in the amount of {$6600.00}. The credit claim of the {$4000.00} cash advance, which is part of the same incident, has still not been resolved however. The departments are separate and that has made this process extremely difficult and time consuming. I have spoken with them multiple times and the claim was not even in their system properly as showing that my phone had been stolen even though they were made aware repeatedly and I have had to fax documents multiple times as well. The said the claim was closed and then it was suppose to have been reopened for review but this never happened either. I have been given multiple case numbers, but the most recent was case number : XXXX. I spoke with someone named XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX who said to fax the documents again to the attention of the online fraud leadership team, which I have done, but I don't have faith it will make a difference and I need help getting this resolved. Also, I reported the incident to the XXXX XXXX at the time it happened and the case number is : XXXX. I have attached the documents that the debit fraud team asked me to send to resolve the claim, which was proof that I had to purchase a new phone while in XXXX. I've also attached the letter from Wells Fargo that the debit fraud claim was approved and reimbursed. Also to note, the nature of the transactions on my account at the time is what helped prove the fraud, as there were multiple attempts at cash withdrawls at the time and the types of transactions were clearly fraud.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I was in the process of closing a business account which caused my Wells Fargo truck payment to be declined. I received a phone call on XX/XX/XXXX and was told my account was late. I informed the supposed wells fargo employee that I would make the payment shortly after I corrected my bank account information. She pressured me to pay over the phone, however, I refused due to the number of scammers that are allowed to function in society today. She pressured and I refused. Apparently, this conversation didn't sit well with this person as i believe she sabotaged my account going forward, due to the following XXXX issues with my account : XXXX. I stopped receiving phone calls from Wells Fargo regarding my account. XXXX. I stopped receiving emails from Wells Fargo regarding my account. XXXX. The new account I set up for recurring payments ( I had to do deposit verifications for this account, so the account IS LINKED, ) however, my recurring payments that I setup apparently got cancelled somehow. I went back into my account to try to resetup the recurring payments but the website will not allow it ( attached ) which is even more indication that my account was tampered with. Due to the lack of notifications from Wells Fargo and the mystery cancellation of my new recurring payments, I received a 30 day late. This was the only notification that my account was past due. I have perfect credit and no lates on my credit report other than this one. I received the 30 late notification on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX and I immediately called customer service but they could do nothing about it, so they opened an executive request. I received a call back from someone a week later. She was prepared to tell me something but apparently had no information regardng the problem. I informed her of the issues surrounding this account and she said they would get back with me. They never did. I have since paid off the {$60000.00} truck loan as I can no longer trust doing business with Wells Fargo due to this issue and their lack of concern for it. They apparently think I'm just another person who does not pay their bills which is obviously not the case here.

Issue: Trouble during payment process
Subissue: Loan sold or transferred to another company
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX Wells Fargo transferred servicing of my mortgage twice and then claimed it had " no interest '' in my mortgage. I complained to CPFB at the time that this was an effort by and between Wells Fargo ( a well documented criminal organization ) Loan Servicing and XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX to steal the equity I had built in the house by falsely claiming I had missed a payment, charging late fees and putting my loan in delinquencey and attempting a foreclosure. They failed but the damage to me was done in that I was charged extra at closing to sell the house based on the criminal falsehood that I had missed a payment ( your file should contain copies of proofs of payment from my bank sent certified to these companies ). So I paid extra ( was robbed ) at closing in XX/XX/2020 and had my credit ruined for like three years. Now I have in hand an admission from Wells Fargo in the form of a {$200.00} check ( No. XXXX ) that arrived with no explanation dated XXXX. The memo says cryptically " For XXXX XXXXXXXX ''. Please note " XXXX '' was the street address of the mortgaged property. Why would WF send me a check for {$200.00} some 3 years after it asserts in writing in your files that it " no longer had any interest '' in the mortgage? This has to be an admission to some past crime or other violation of my rights I tried to have vindicated back then. I am not accepting {$200.00} is settlement of their violations. Please investigate and advise what this check is supposed to represent. I will hold the check as evidence until my questions are answered ( along with the follow up letter from WF a month later urging me to cash the check. Thank you. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I went to XXXX XXXX store to use the Wells Fargo ATM inside I first went in to deposit {$240.00} then I went back home because I had forgotten {$800.00} that I needed to also deposit. I came back to the XXXX XXXX store to deposit the {$800.00} but when I deposited it only credited me {$600.00} so I called Wells Fargo immediately and let them know what had a accured.. on XXXX XXXX I was credited the {$200.00} so I was like ok thinking that when they opened the ATM machine those {$200.00} were going to me there.. On XX/XX/year>XXXX I got a letter stating that they opened up the ATM and they didn't find those {$200.00} so that they were going to take those {$200.00} back. I was upset because I have no reason to lie about the deposit I made I've been with Wells Fargo for 2 or 3 years and haven't had a problem I'm usually always going to that ATM to withdrawal or deposit and haven't had a problem until now.. I told the Wells Fargo associated that the money could of been easily spit out to another customer and the machine will not record that and no one was going to call them if a customer indeed received extra money from the ATM.. I'm a single mom of XXXX currently receiving benefits and I really need my money back.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing this complaint to report an unauthorized deduction in the amount of {$31000.00} from my personal account ending in XXXX by Wells Fargo Bank. This deduction is associated with a business line of credit account number XXXX, a facility for which I am not a guarantor, and furthermore, it is linked to a business entity, XXXX XXXX XXXX, which ceased operations in XXXX, with all its associated bank accounts closed. I am also writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service that I received from one of your officers, who was handling my case. She was very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful to me, and did not provide me with any information or assistance to resolve my issue. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed an unauthorized deduction in the amount of {$31000.00} from my personal account ending in XXXX. I immediately contacted Wells Fargo Bank to inquire about this transaction, and I was told that it was related to a business line of credit account number XXXX, which had an outstanding balance of {$31000.00}. I was shocked and confused by this information, as I have never applied for or used a business line of credit from Wells Fargo Bank. I explained to the representative that I had no connection to this account, and that I was not a guarantor for any business loans. I also explained that the business entity that was associated with this account, XXXX XXXX XXXX, was a company that I were as a shareholder, but it had ceased operations in XXXX, and all its bank accounts had been closed. The representative asked me to provide proof of my claim, and I agreed to do so. I sent him copies of the following documents : The articles of incorporation of XXXX XXXX XXXX, showing that I was a shareholder, not a guarantor. The dissolution certificate of XXXX XXXX XXXX, showing that it had terminated its existence in XX/XX/XXXX. The agreement that Wells Fargo Bank claims to have with me as a guarantor for the business line of credit, showing that it was signed in XX/XX/XXXX, six months after XXXX XXXX XXXX had dissolved. I also requested the representative to send me a copy of the original application for the business line of credit, and the authorization for the deduction from my personal account. He said that he would do so, but I never received any such documents from him. I followed up with the representative several times, but I did not receive any response or confirmation that my case was being investigated or resolved. I was left in the dark about the status of my issue, and the reason for the unauthorized deduction. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a phone call from Wells Fargo Bank regarding my case. The caller did not identify himself or herself, and asked me to call back during the business hours. I followed the instructions and called the number that was given to me. However, when I reached the officer who was handling my case, she was very rude and unprofessional. She did not listen to my concerns, interrupted me several times, and accused me of lying about the charge. She also refused to provide me with any information about the status of my case, or the steps that I needed to take to resolve it. She hung up on me before I could ask any questions. I was very upset and frustrated by this treatment. I felt that I was not valued as a customer, and that my case was not taken seriously. I believe that this is unacceptable and violates the standards of customer service that Wells Fargo Bank claims to uphold. I hope that this complaint will be taken seriously, and that my issue will be resolved as soon as possible. I appreciate your attention and assistance in this matter. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a dispute through XXXX regarding an old auto loan and repossession showing on my credit. Now the debt shows as just recently charged off, which is invalid. The last payment on the vehicle prior to repossession was over 13 years ago. It states on my credit file that it was past due as of XX/XX/XXXX, but that is an error on the part of Wells Fargo ; as you can see from the attached XXXX report it was really last paid on XX/XX/XXXX. Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, this account should have only remained on my credit for up to 7 years, but Wells Fargo fraudulently reported it again in XXXX, though I made no payment arrangements with the company, nor did I enter a settlement for this debt. The statute of limitations for this debt, which was my ex-husband 's in our divorce settlement, has long passed and this should be cleared from my credit report. Be advised that the last name was under my then-married name of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
