Consumer Complaint: I applied for my own credit and was denied through WellsFargo Bank. Application ID # XXXX My rights have been violated and I'm exercising as per the equal credit opportunity act. I extended my application of securities and received no valuable exchange. I demand for my application to be approved or for my application to be returned. Deniel of this request will result in securities fraud. Regardless of the reason you have denied me my own credit this falls under discrimination and I have been injured. Being denied my own credit has brought me humiliation and heartache. I also never singed or agreed to any written consent to my private information to be sold or extended to a third party such as a credit reporting agency. do to this fraudulent activity my credit has dropped and ive been injured in many way for this.

Consumer Complaint: Ive been watching this card very closely. I travel for a living and use for my hotels and food. What I noticed is pretty disturbing. When I use the card, my pending transaction will go against my account balance. Ive watched charges drop off of my account, but they are not coming off of my owed account balance. Pretty much double charging my account balance. Ive also noticed that when the pending transactions do post, they are being added to the account balance once again. I have called them and they cant seem to answer my questions. Like theyre just reading off of a script and have no clue how to answer these questions. Not sure what I can do about this. I will attach 2 photos. They are within a 24 hour period and the card hasnt been used.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX my Wells Fargo account had three unauthorized fraudulent checks deposited from a location I was not in. I was celebrating the XXXX of XXXX with my grandparents in Arizona upon my immediate familys return from overseas. The checks were deposited on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX in Illinois. When I had withdrawn money from my account, I did not find it suspicious. I believed it was my money to pay my student loan or spend however I see fit. It wasnt until days later that I was notified of the checks. My parents and I requested documentation and forms to support the overdraft claim. I looked at the checks and my name was incomplete and my signature was incorrect. I then requested to submit these accounts to be investigated and later Wells Fargo claimed I was at fault because of the withdrawal. After I joined the military, I attempted to call and request more information. I gave up and began to look into paying the amount to clear my name. When I attempted to call the fraud department through Wells Fargo with the claim numbers, the department stated they had no information. This took place in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Tx. I have not received any other information towards this issue until my grandmother sent me a picture of a Form 1099-C stating I must claim the Overdraft Account amount on my XXXX taxes.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 a car I rented was stolen out the hotel parking lot. I contacted XXXX XXXX police and they recovered the car. XXXX XXXX XXXX was the company name that charged me by mistake instead of the liable party. Furthermore the police didnt release the name of the individual who committed the theft. I filed a complaint with the claims department and received what they called a provisional credit then Wells Fargo reversed the credit claiming a lack of information. I then got i touch with another representative with Wells Fargo after sending the requested information. The representative then informed me that the credit had been returned and the claim had been resolved. On XX/XX/2023 Wells Fargo then fraudulently removed {$1200.00} from my account saying the initial claim was under review. I then requested a call review regarding the representative who had replaced the money in my account and informed me the claim was resolved. I have continued to request this information and every time I do a representative tells me no such review has been requested. Im filing a complaint against Wells Fargo for dishonesty and incompetence.

Consumer Complaint: Wire transfer was being made on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX without my knowledge or permission. My Wells Fargo Bank for over 25 years accusing me that I initiated the wire transfer which I did not. XX/XX/2023, XXXX XXXX someone call from Wells Fargo phone number saying that multiple transaction being made from my debit card at different stores in Texas. The same day around XXXX XXXX I went to the nearest Wells Fargo branch at XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX CA.XXXX to report the call that I received. The manager XXXX XXXX of the bank check any activity or transaction being made that day and she didn't find any activities. She called Wells Fargo Fraud prevention to freeze my account and handed me a piece of paper with Fraud prevention phone number to follow up which I did. I requested to change my account number that day but instead she signs me for next day appointment at XXXX XXXX to open a new account. XX/XX/2023, at XXXX XXXX while XXXX XXXX is helping us the bank manager told us that someone conduct a bank-to-bank wire transfer to my savings account for the amount of {$8500.00}. We called the Fraud prevention to know what happened, but nobody knows. Wells Fargo Bank employee did not handle the issue seriously. '' NEGLIGENCE " as I requested to change my account number the morning of XX/XX/XXXX, but instead doing it that day I wait till next day afternoon. My card was used again from withdrawing money {$500.00} from my account on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX from XXXX which I received a declined notice. Wells Fargo needs to focus and update cybersecurity to secure our financial needs.

Consumer Complaint: Date : XX/XX/3023 Consumer Financial Protection Bureau case number : XXXX Regarding : Wells Fargo Case : XXXX Acct. ending in : XXXX XXXX XXXX : Complaints Management Office XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, SD XXXX Subject : Serious Noncompliance and Dishonorable Regulations Performed Dear Wells Fargo, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the lack of resolution regarding the fraudulent transactions conducted by Wells Fargo employees on XX/XX/2023, without my authorization or knowledge. Despite my relentless efforts, which include contacting your company twelve times and engaging with executives, customer service representatives, complaints departments, and management, my issue remains unresolved. Summarized Current State of Affairs : 1. Wells Fargo Service : Provided detailed information regarding the fraudulent transactions committed by Wells Fargo employees, no concrete action has been taken. The evidence, including recorded phone conversations, clearly demonstrates unprofessional communication and falsification of records by your employees. 2. Formal Complaint : The unsatisfactory and unethical treatment received from Wells Fargo customer service, claims, and executives. It has been three months since the complaint was filed, ( four months total ) and there has been no progress in refunding the unauthorized withdrawal of {$1000.00} from my account. 3. Representative Contact : Wells Fargo acted in bad faith and violated regulations continuously. I have reported this case, along with the unresolved complaints, to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ). 4. Legal Consideration : I have sought advice from attorneys specializing in consumer protection law and forensic accountants with expertise in illegal activities. If not resolved they will assess the merits of potential legal actions, considering the late fees, disruptions to my life, XXXX rights, and the cessation of healthcare, medication and treatment services resulting from the closure of my accounts and fraudulent withdrawals performed by Wells Fargo Company. Despite multiple attempts to address my concerns, no satisfactory research or resolution has been provided. I have also attached the fax receipt for the unsuccessful attempts to send the affidavit to an alternate fax number provided by XXXX XXXX sent on XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023 as this fax number is offline and they lost all my documents somehow.. Wells Fargo 's failure to reissue the unauthorized check, despite receiving the affidavit nine times, threXXXX different ways is inexcusable. This negligence has had severe consequences for me, including financial hardship during the holiday season ( XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2023 ), missed doctor appointments, damage to my credit report, and the inability to pay for essential expenses such as medication, rent, auto expenses, insurance, and cellular services. As a XXXX individual with numerous medical conditions, including four life-threatening illnesses, Long haul Covid-19, with twenty prescriptions your actions have caused significant hardships to my mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It is evident that Wells Fargo has not demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity, fair treatment, or adherence to federal and state laws and regulations. These actions violate state and federal laws related to banking, fraud, and consumer protection. It is challenging to comprehend how a company could engage in unethical practices such as withholding an individual 's financial information, illegally transferring funds without proper authorization, and neglecting to inform clients about the withdrawal of their funds. Additionally, the involvement of eleven individuals in falsifying documents, whether in preparation or transmission, adds a level of unprofessionalism that surpasses reasonable expectations. I received the affidavit in question without having initiated any corresponding tasks, as Wells Fargo executed a fraudulent withdrawal of funds from my account, subsequently issuing a check without my authorization. This check, bearing number XXXX and valued at {$1000.00}, was neither received nor authorized by me, and I was not notified of its issuance. Consequently, I find myself entangled in this situation for the past four months, during which eleven distinct employees have displayed varying degrees of dishonesty, inadequate training, carelessness, and unprofessional conduct. The fore mentioned affidavit was transmitted via fax on a Friday from a Wells Fargo branch in Texas to the number XXXX formally assert that I neither received nor solicited the original check, as Wells Fargo engaged in fraudulent activities by illicitly dispatching check number XXXX, dated XX/XX/2023, in the amount of {$1000.00}, without obtaining my consent. Wells Fargo conducted an unauthorized withdrawal of {$1000.00} from my account ending in XXXX, subsequently issuing check number XXXX on XX/XX/2023, without apprising me of the transaction. Upon contacting Wells Fargo in XXXX, I was initially informed that my account was in a negative balance, with subsequent discussions revealing an admission to the unauthorized withdrawal. To my surprise, I was informed that there was no obligation on their part to notify me of such actions. In XXXX, I communicated with Wells Fargo, wherein they acknowledged an unauthorized withdrawal but asserted that they were not obligated to notify me of such actions. Subsequently, in XXXX, upon contacting Wells Fargo, I was informed that the initial check would be canceled, and a replacement check would be issued. However, in a subsequent conversation in the same month, after updating my address, I was notified that no check had been dispatched. Further communication with Wells Fargo in XXXX revealed that an affidavit would be sent for my signature. Upon reaching out to Wells Fargo in XXXX, I was surprised to learn that there was no record of my knowledge regarding the affidavit. Subsequent inquiries within the same month yielded conflicting information, with one representative asserting that no affidavit had been submitted, while another claimed that the affidavit had been sent, signed, notarized, and faxed. In a subsequent interaction with Wells Fargo in XXXX, I was informed that the previously mentioned fax had not been received and was advised to contact another department. Continuing the correspondence with Wells Fargo in XXXX, I was told that the individual who denied any continuing the correspondence with Wells Fargo in XXXX, I was told that the individual who denied any knowledge of the affidavit possesses pertinent information. Impact on My Life and Well-Being Due to Financial Complications My life and overall well-being have been significantly compromised and disrupted by a series of unfortunate events. Firstly, I find myself in a XXXX and unemployed state, battling the long-term effects of Covid-19. This has resulted in a multitude of health issues, requiring a staggering twenty-two prescriptions and numerous hospitalizations and surgeries. Unfortunately, the past three months have been particularly challenging due to an unlawful financial intrusion by Wells Fargo. They wrongfully withdraw my funds and subsequently misplaced them, leaving me in a state of emotional and mental distress. The repercussions of this financial ordeal have been far-reaching. The time and energy I should have devoted to critical doctor visits, surgeries, medical appointments, and securing necessary medications and support have been diverted toward resolving this financial crisis. As a result, my health has deteriorated further, exacerbating my overall well-being. Wells Fargo 's prolonged withholding of my only available funds, spanning a period of XXXX months, has left me unable to meet basic needs such as purchasing food, paying rent, covering my car payment, electricity bills, cell phone expenses, and health insurance premiums. Consequently, my financial resources have become grossly inadequate, leading to a cascade of negative consequences. The unauthorized withdrawals from my account by Wells Fargo have resulted in insufficient funds, causing multiple non-sufficient fund ( NSF ) incidents. These incidents have significantly impacted my credit score, which has plummeted by more than fifty points in just one month. Moreover, Wells Fargo 's abrupt closure of my checking and business accounts, despite my decade-long patronage, has disrupted all direct deposits.
