Consumer Complaint: I received an advertisement in the mail from Wells Fargo Bank for an 0 % interest for XXXX months credit card. Nowhere on the advertisement does it mention that every transaction incurs a 5 % fee. I was given {$18000.00} in credit and used most of it to pay off other bills before realizing that this was actually costing me lots of money. I contacted Wells about XXXX days ago and they claimed the information about the 5 % fee was in some detail they sent me with the card. That may be true, but it still feels like false advertisement and a clear attempt to trick the customer. They refused to do anything to fix the problem and then sent me a standard email that they were working to solve the problem. I have not heard anything from them. .

Consumer Complaint: I applied and was accepted for a XXXX XXXX, frustratingly the companies app offers no way to sign up for automatic payments. XXXX systems failed to notify me of a past due balance on my account. I received XXXX emails or text messages related to a late payment. The direct mail that was sent on XX/XX/year> and XX/XX/year> was labeled on behalf of Wells Fargo, not from XXXX. At this point I did not know of the association between the XXXX brands, up until that point it seems XXXX went out of its way in all marketing to not associate directly with Wells Fargo in any way. Furthermore the XXXX app was the primary way I made all payments, this app does not allow for auto-pay in any way ( reference XXXX ). Text message notifications regarding fraud on the account went to my wife instead of to me, my wife has no connection to the account ( reference XXXX ). Not only did XXXXWells Fargo fail to notify me properly of past due payment, they violated FCC regulations on permission text notifications, as well as failed consumers with no way to setup auto-pay in the XXXX app. Due to these issues by Wells Fargo, I was not given proper notice of late payments on my account, and the late payment remark on my account should be removed immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I have retained new copies of my credit reports, and noticed that Wells Fargo Dollar services did not furnish the credit bureaus with the required disclosure, within the period required by law. Wells Fargo dealer services are required by federal law to place a " notice of dispute '' on my account within 30 days of my dispute, which was signed for on XX/XX/2023 at XXXXXXXX XXXX. I have retained a copy of the signature and date of receipt, as well as a time-stamped copy of my credit reports, showing that they have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) and/or the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Section 807 ( 8 ) by not placing the disclosure within the required 30-day period.

Consumer Complaint: I received a XXXX tax form from Wells Fargo-Customer Remediation , form 1099-INT. The tax form has as interest income XXXX which I never received so I called the Remediation Support Team number at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to a lady name XXXX and she said I should of received a check for a little over {$5000.00} instead in XXXX. She put in the request and said it will take up to 45 days to receive and the contact number to follow-up is XXXX and reference number XXXX. I called both numbers today around XXXX and both had automated messages that the office was closed. I want to know if this Wells Fargo Remediation is real because the tax form is incorrect and I didn't receive the check or it's a scam. The account number on this form was a credit card opened XXXX, closed in XXXX, and paid off in XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: My home was damaged by renters in XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX paid for the destruction and Wells Fargo told me to sign the check and mail to them. They would sign and immediately return to me. They never did. I was XXXX payment behind and had been making payments of 1/2 every two weeks, so I had an extra payment in the system. They gave me the non stop run around. I complied to everything that was requested. Then they said I must fix everything w my own money and they would release the {$7000.00} check afterward. They also refused a payment stating I had to get so far behind. They foreclosed XX/XX/2017, the bought the house for less than owed. I lost my home of 16 yrs as well as a stolen insurance proceeds check.

Consumer Complaint: Back on XX/XX/2023 I found that a {$300.00} pre authorization from XXXX XXXX XXXX on my credit card right away I contacted my credit card issuer to stop any transactions from XXXX XXXX XXXX because I cant find my card and canceled my account. The cancel my account and sent me a new card. On XX/XX/2023 w see a transfer charge to my new account from my previous canceled account in the amount of {$2500.00} which is over my credit limit I contacted the bank and the dispute the transaction after XXXX week the denied my request and contacted them again and explained to them I cancelled the old account and contact me before you approve any charges. They never did and asked them how you approve an amount almost double my card limit without contacting me they said its up to the bank which is not the case several times the did not approve any amount over the limit in the past relatively less than {$50.00} above my credit and reported my account to the credit agency for non payment.

Consumer Complaint: My husband XXXX XXXX and I, usted to have a join account in Wells Fargo. XXXX weekend, the balance showed we have around XXXX $ available for spending and considering we are the consumers and we rely on Wells Fargo calculations methods and balances we trusted their calculation and information and used that money in food bills, etc. To our surprise, the next week they surprised us with a XXXX something balance without better explanation and the transactions were not clear to understand where did we went and overspent XXXX XXXX We were plan on resolving this issue with the then, a month past os sit and XXXX day they just closed the account and start to send send bills to us, call every week days and call even on Sunday mornings. They did not take the time to clearly breakdown how did we ended XXXX XXXX My husband XXXX XXXX got a call from them saying the only way to solve this issue is going down to their offices and paying the balance. No willingness to talk and find a common ground or any other alternatives. Since then, the calls wont stopincluding weekends. Once they explain this charges in details and assuming they are correct which we are both sure, we would like to discuss a settlement option. If they are not correct, we want this persistent communication tactics to stop. I attached the only page I can found so far of the mail sent to us that does not describe into detail what do we owe and why. I will keep looking

Consumer Complaint: There was an account opened without my consent or knowledge by a bank representative and my ex wife in which XXXX XXXX Worth of my unemployment checks were cashed Recently in XXXX I spoke to Wells Fargo and was told they would look into this XXXX months later I get a letter saying that nothing like that happened referring to a recent account that I opened to deposit a settlement check they issued on a different matter. I told wells Fargo department of unemployment had copies of the cashed checks along with affidavids and fraud and that if needed I would get some or a copy they said no well I've been getting the run around like this from the begining. And no help at all I sent wells Fargo regarding this also but never got a response this fraudulent account was opened around XXXX and so far no one has been able to help and I don't have money for an attorney and for the record this was the reason I filed my divorce

Consumer Complaint: We bank with Wells Fargo with a business account. When depositing a check from a government agency, Wells said they would hold the check XXXX weeks. We told them they could not do that as I researched the legal process on check holds. Since it was the only bank we were banking with, we deposited it hoping for a quicker turn time. As of Friday XX/XX/XXXX, the funds were not available, and it was the end of the XXXX business day. We opened an account last week with a different bank which cashed another check from the school district in XXXX hours. We have been told this XXXX week hold many times by Wells Fargo. It mattered this time as the school was late in paying and we needed the cash for payroll.
