Consumer Complaint: I have contacted Wells Fargo numerous times about automatic platinum elite status that comes with my XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card. They continue to deny it has anything to do with them and refuse to send over the qualifying nights to my XXXX XXXX account so I will have platinum status, even though this is one of the benefits and is in the contract with Wells Fargo. I am paying for this benefit with my annual fee and yet they are not providing the benefits on their end and will not rectify the situation. AUTOMATIC PLATINUM ELITE MEMBERSHIP Receive XXXX XXXX XXXX credits qualifying for at least Platinum level status each calendar year.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Ca in XXXX. The finance company Wells Fargo. I immediately purchased insurance from XXXX XXXX and they cancelled policy shortly after for unknown reasons. I purchased insurance with other insurances too however this was by far hard to do making minimum wage at the time. I struggled immensely, to the point of being homeless and living in a motel and in my car for months. Wells Fargo added insurance policies to my monthly statements making nearly impossible to pay and leading up to repossession not once but twice. I was very vocal about requesting extensions and giving me time to pay the fees on top of fees which again made it impossible to stay up to date. Not only that, but this car was a damaged car, repair after repair and fees after fees. Eventually lost the car to repossession and not being able to retrieve it. I struggled financially for years and years due to this car loan. I applied for numerous loans after this for a car and was denied over 60 times. I was shorted from getting an education because I did not have the means to travel to work then school. I was shorted for career advancement due to commute issues. I was shorted from financial ventures because I couldnt get the credit. This ruined my chances of doing good for myself. I am enclosing all the proof showing i did my best but Wells Fargo on the contrary showed no empathy for my situation and many others. Its a shame that because of them I have fallen into financial stress, XXXX, health issues, deprived of an education, deprived of career advancement, everything was ruined due to this loan. Please review. I am requesting compensation for all the damage they have caused me.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX - I deposited a paper check from the Idaho State Tax Commission ( tax refund ) in the amount of {$1300.00} via mobile banking app for Wells Fargo Bank. Immediately after, I received a confirmation number stating funds would be available next business day on XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX - I received notice that all funds for this deposit are now being held until XX/XX/XXXX with reason given : contact maker of check. I called Wells Fargo Bank, spoke with customer service and they transfered me to Loss and Prevention - I spoke with XXXX, who was very rude and told me that the bank of the check issuer ( XXXX XXXX ) notified Wells Fargo not to pay these funds and there is nothing he can do about it. XX/XX/XXXX - went to local wells fargo branch, was told to sit in lobby and wait for a banker-wait time " unknown ''. i was not able to stay past the 30 minutes I was there waiting, so I called customer service again - only to be told nothing can be done and that I need to contact the maker of the check. I called Idaho State TAx Commission and they looked up my information and said everything was fine on their end- they do not put holds on checks and that my bank is lying to me. I called Wells Fargo Customer Service AGAIN and spoke with 2 more people who also told me there is nothing that can be done and I will just need to wait until the XXXX for my funds to be released.

Consumer Complaint: I called expressing my desire to split my mortgage payments into bi-monthly. This was in an effort to contribute to a faster pay down and lower the amount I pay overall in interest expense. However, I noticed months later that Wells Fargo was actually taking my payment and putting it as " unapplied funds ''. If these funds are supposed to go TOWARDS my mortgage and it was clearly expressed that these should go towards my mortgage why were they holding that money until the end of the month to make a final lump payment which ultimately achieved the original 1 time payment outcome. Additionally, what is Wells Fargo doing with potentially MILLIONS of customers ' " unapplied funds ''. I suspect in the aggregate that's a lot of money they are holding on balance sheet and potentially gaining short term interest income off of while the consumer isn't reaping any benefit. When I called to get clarity and straighten this out they had a convoluted explanation that I had to specifically ask for payments to be every XXXX or weekly. How would the consumer know to ask for that? Also, why would this be required?

Wrote me a nasty letter saying Im not part of their breeches when I have proof I was part of their breech data settlement back in XXXX. After that someone had access to my social security number and their name appears under my credit report which I reported to their crime investigator. After that my bank had a lot of bank fraud. I lost my XXXX which I have proof of that which I asked XXXX to wipe my data clean since XXXX and that person accessed my bank cards, passwords and started mining money in XXXX little by little out my account for over {$15000.00}. Again Wells Fargo claims they dont go back pass 60 days but gave me {$680.00} towards that claim of almost {$15000.00} and revered my other account for {$1100.00} that same day putting me in the negative. Corporate headquarters and bank managers printed me out statements all the way to XXXX and told me they will help me with past charges as far as 5 years that I did not do. Now they are trying to call me liar saying Im not part of the breech. Wrote me nasty letters. Corporate told me they are aware that XXXX there was a lot of fraud being done to peoples account. They were even part of a XXXX scam back in XXXX which is the activity I noticed in my account was a XXXX scam and in XXXX a XXXX scam. Nobody wants to help me not sure if its a sort of discrimination. My mental and physical health is ruined by Wells Fargo and their unfair practice and how they accused me of charges when Im part of identity scam which is caused by them. My life was fine before their settlement issues and malpractice. I want my {$15000.00} from XXXX someone stole and the charges of {$1100.00} reverse back to my account so I can start a new account. If not I will have to go the legal way because the emotional damage, XXXX XXXX, run arounds, lack of sleep and stress is too much for a loyal customer to go through. They dont care about me or anybody. Im just learning in XXXX I have letters coming for another class action lawsuit settlement for fees on my account. My name is XXXX XXXX, and my address is XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, LA XXXX. I am reaching out to request urgent assistance in obtaining critical documents related to my mortgage contract. I am an aggrieved party, having identified what appears to be mortgage fraud committed by Wells Fargo on my account. Consumer Complaint: First let me begin by saying that i am XXXX XXXX XXXX attending XXXX XXXX University. I recently applied to an internship from an email I received in my student email. After a week or so the internship contacted me by the name of XXXX XXXX. He said I was going to be his personal assistant and he would be sending me funds to disperse to his promo merchants. I attempted to deposit the 2 checks he sent by email and Wells Fargo instantly declined and froze my account. Resulting in them closing my account. I called and explained the situation and how I had no idea of this scam and clearly am the victim. To my Suprise the very rude support told me " It's a privilege to bank here and you have lost that privilege. He continued to close my account after I begged him to reconsider and the fact i have a kid going without funds could be detrimental to my family and myself. Not only did they close my account, but they made it to where I'm unable to receive My funds in My account until XX/XX/XXXX! All of this is totally unprofessional and inconsiderate of the victims of fraud.
