Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I deposited a check via ATM at Wells Fargo. The check was written on Wells Fargo bank. I deposited via ATM because its much easier and there isnt enough staff inside the bank so wait time is long. Wells Fargo placed a hold on the entire check which is very inconvenient and unacceptable. How could they place a hold on a check written on their bank when I just cashed a check from my XXXX insurance company and no hold was placed. I would had been satisfied if some of the funds were released today and the remaining the next day. I have XXXX in my checking account so these funds are needed in order to feed my family

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 Ive disputed a charge for {$920.00} from XXXX XXXX. We were sold tickets that the merchant had already sold to another customer. We found this out when we got to the venue and realize another customer had the same tickets on top of it the description of the ticket listing didnt match the seats. So after attempting to reach the merchant failed we opened a dispute with Wells Fargo and explained the issue. Wells Fargo lost the dispute from the merchant but only provided a basic dispute reason and never gave our exact dispute which is the merchant sold us duplicate tickets and never explained the tickets had and obstruction. Wells Fargo disputed it was a cancelled transaction which isnt what we said as our reason for dispute. Wells Fargo didnt accurately represent our dispute reason which resulted in us losing the dispute.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I had lost my job. I immediately reached out to my mortgage lender Wells Fargo to explain the situation and protect my loan. They told me we could work together to fix the problem. Forgo payments and go into forbearance and we will just do a home loan revision. I found a job a week later. I called to make the arrangements and change my mortgage... They told me I was being foreclosed on so too bad. They wouldn't let me make a payment or fix anything and said that it was too late. My family became homeless with nowhere to go. I tried talking to a lawyer at the time but received no help. We have never came back from losing our home. We recently received a cashier 's check from Wells Fargo for {$200.00} dollars explaining they found errors when our home was considered for payment assistance options.

Consumer Complaint: ON XX/XX/22 i had a withdrawal made from my account for {$7500.00}, The bank statement shows this withdrawal was made at a branch ( Wells Fargo ). When I received the statement & found this transaction I called the bank to report theft fraud immediately, I did not withdraw this money from my account Im very methodical pay my bills by check & us mail. I believe my information was hacked thru my XXXX I had a strange interaction with my computer & mobile phone I reported this to my bank & filed a report & claim. I never heard from Wells Fargo this has been very frustrating I continue to get the run around & stone walled?? I dont understand why no investigation no police involved nothing was done to return my money nor offered an explanation. Im writing you because I was just informed to report to your organization & several others to assist me with this issue.

Consumer Complaint: NOTICE TO AGENT IS NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL IS NOTICE TO AGENT I hereby give you company notice pursuant to 15 USC 1602 ( k ) that your Company never provided an adequate notice which clearly & conspicuously mentions the pertinent facts of this transaction. Your Company didn't even inform about the Cost of Credit and the only evidence of the indebtedness was just a computer- generated agreement. According to 15 USC 1602 ( k ), the term " adequate notice '' means a printed notice to a cardholder which sets forth the pertinent facts clearly and conspicuously so that a person against whom it is to operate could reasonably be expected to have noticed it and understood its meaning. Such notice may be given to a cardholder by printing the notice on any credit card, or on each periodic statement of account, issued to the cardholder, or by any other means reasonably assuring the receipt thereof by the cardholder. Since adequate notice was not given as per the above-mentioned section, I couldn't understand its meaning which is a violation under 15 USC 1602 ( k ). Further, pursuant to 15 USC 1601 ( a ) a consumer must be aware of the cost of transaction. Since I was not aware of the transaction therefore made an uninformed decision and it resulted in multiple billing errors, and unfair credit card practices. According to 15 USC 1602 ( p ), The term " unauthorized use '' means a use of a credit card by a person other than the cardholder who does not have actual, implied or apparent authority for such use and for such use and from Which the cardholder receives no benefit.
