Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 my card was lost/stolen and 4 transactions totaling XXXX were made on my card- I requested a new card when I realized on Monday and saw transactions that were not made by me were PENDING. Once they posted, I disputed the transactions online under the only option that they have that indicates they were not made by me which is " do not remember this transaction ''. I filed a dispute and was given provisional credit but shortly after was notified that " No fraudulent activity was found '' I called multiple times to question the reasoning and to see what I needed to submit to prove it was not me. They said they could not tell me becuase I would be able to use the information if I wanted to claim transactions as as fraud. This infuriated me as they were implying I would fraudulently create a claim. This is already the second time this has happened to me. They took their provisional credit back and refuse to approve my claim for reasons unknown to me and undisclosed to me.

Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo has been mailng mediation request forms for several months, I was given tracking numbers including XXXX, XXXX, XXXX is the most recent one dated XXXX When I initially called number on letter XXXX, I was told call will be disconnected, referred to prior mediation in which case, no payment received from that mediation.. When I called today, I was told all mediation efforts have been exhausted ... The call was regarding the last tracking number, XXXX As the CFPB can see, these mediation request forms are a mere run around, future forms will be refused.. I request the CFPB look into this behavior, fine Wells Fargo for opening unauthorized accounts in my name including account ending in XXXX, a checking account and most recently, a Jewelry account, XXXX XXXX XXXX, both accounts fraudulent.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX claims Wells Fargo account ending XXXX was closed and balance in the amount of {$190.00} waved. Previously, XXXX XXXX XXXX advised Wellls Fargo would reach out in re, no one from Wells Fargo reached out, has not indicated balance waved. As stated prior, the account ending in XXXX was opened by Wells Fargo reps which I did not authorize, a debit card purchase in the amount {$290.00} was made from XXXX, purchase was never received, item was shipped via XXXX with a forged signature, signed as XXXX, in which case, I never sign my name like this. Wells Fargo accepts forged signature as true and correct, despite forgery. XXXX XXXX XXXX claims Wells Fargo waved balance, however, I have no verification of such or refund of difference in amount of {$100.00}.

Consumer Complaint: My ex along with a wells fargo rep opened a joint account and cashed my unemployment checks totaling XXXX XXXX dlrs I was in XXXX being held against my will and it took me about 3 months to escape when I got back came to find out what she had done so I filed for divorce it was not contested she didn't even go I filed all the paperwork required by the unemployment department and send copies to wells Fargo they never responded still today when I call they say there's nothing in the system but there has to be because unemployment has the cashed checks and also there another issue with a car I had for my ex her name was on there for the purpose of insurance and because she drove that car but I was the only one in charge of the finances including this car I had just gotten her her immigration papers so she didn't work at that time well they sent a check but I can't cash it there holding on to it i did get her to endorse the check and deposited via ATM well they eant me yo take her to the bank putting me in a bad position she is remarried and like I said we don't talk so I figured worst case scenario give me my half though she does not deserve it so if you can help I would really appreciate it all of this has gotten upset all over again and wells fargo determination to have me deal with my ex is unacceptable it's gotten me really upset having to relive those moments

They would pay any checks drawn on my account, even if I didnt have funds to cover it. And any negative balance I would have to pay Wells Fargo back. They returned XXXX checked previously written for my rent and deposit. Which is going to make me have to move, in which I dont have the funds for. They chose to close my account for a check I deposited, and they didnt even wait to see if the check would clear first. They are not following what they said they would do. And they are now giving me a different reason why the checks were not paid.

Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/2023, I filed an EFTA claim with Wells Fargo Bank in the amount of {$1600.00} against a merchant " XXXX XXXX '' On XX/XX/2023, I called Wells Fargo to inquire regarding the status of my fraud dispute and they told me that they denied my claim because the investigation revealed that I authorized this charge with XXXX XXXX Please be advised that I provided a police report to Wells Fargo 's fraud department shortly after ( few days ) i filed my claim. I advised Wells Fargo and the police that I suspected my brother of stealing my passport, driver 's license and Wells Fargo debit card and made this unauthorized charge at XXXX XXXX. Thereafter, I called XXXX XXXX and explained to them what had transpired and they provided me with a few sheets of paper that my brother had filled out and signed. The handwriting and signature on this paperwork looks to be my brothers and appears to be a forgery of my signature. I'm asking Wells Fargo to please refund me my money as this is a lot of money and I desperately need it as the holidays are here. I did not authorize that charge at XXXX XXXX. Consumer Complaint: This is a fraudulent transaction on XXXX. Seller listed a XXXX watch for sale as perfect condition and if the buyer had any problem, the seller offered a free return refund in 10 days. It trappedme to purchase it. Right after I paid with my credit card ( XX/XX/XXXX ), the watch was sent to XXXX XXXX for inspection, and then the seller wrote to me admittingthat the watch had some marks on it, and said the seller will provide the repair service. I immediately felt that it could be a scam. But too late, once I received it, I opened a return/refund case, and returned the watch back to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ) in XXXX, XXXX. I explained the problem that " the watch back had teeth cut on it, it's not in a perfect condition. I just want to return/refund '' XXXX declined the refund and sent the watch back to me, and closed the case. The reason to closethe case was " the watch was not shipping back inits original condition ''. At this moment, I realized I was totally defrauded by the XXXX seller and XXXX XXXX.Then I immediately opened the case of " defective and not as described, return/refund '' with XXXX and my credit card company. The credit card company first initiated the temporary credit to me and requested me to return the merchandise to XXXX XXXX, and provideall evidence/pictures/emails. I did so, and thought the case was resolved. Until XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that the temporary credit was removed on my credit card account and received a letter saying my claim was declined. I was so shocked. This was an over {$7000.00} purchase. The declined reason was based on all false defenses from the seller. They claimed that the buyer is still in possession of the merchandise. And they provided a different return address, and claimed they don't have the merchandise received by the seller. I sent the watch back to XXXX XXXX and kept all USPS tracking numbers. I wrote to XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) to ask the merchandise to be sent back to the buyer. The XXXX staff there replied that the merchandise will not be returned to the buyer. They could be scam artists knowing every step to trick the consumerand bank inspection. They played the " one man singing and one man harmony '' scheme. Each person speaks differently and lies about everything. XXXX as the merchant finally admitted that the merchandise is now in their possession.Now, the seller has got the payment and the merchant has the merchandise in it's possession, this is 100 % fraudulent transaction, which I as a consumer should not pay for it.
