Consumer Complaint: In response to a falsified e mail a {$650000.00} wire transfer was made from a XXXX XXXX account to a Wells Fargo bank account -- -- the account number, bank and routing number were to an existing account but that account is not the recipient 's account because the recipient HAS NO WELLS FARGO ACCOUNT. The name of the intended recipient was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ( no typo ) -- - The account name to which the funds were mistakenly sent and which supposedly corresponds to the account number is " XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. The wire request from XXXX XXXX ( requested Friday XX/XX/2023 and completed Monday XX/XX/2023 states that the name on the account to which the funds are to be credited is " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ''. Wells Fargo HAS NO SUCH ACCOUNT TITLED IN THAT NAME. On Monday XX/XX/XXXX the sender ( author of this Complaint ) through XXXX XXXXXXXX initiated a wire recall notice to Wells Fargo. It is not Thursday XX/XX/XXXX and Wells Fargo REFUSES TO HONOR THE RE-TRANSFER DEMAND. WELLS FARGO IS ON NOTICE THAT A FRAUD HAS BEEN PERPETRATED, via XXXX XXXX 's fraud unit and it continues to refuse to honor the reissuance of the funds. THE FUNDS ARE IN IMMEDIATE DANGER OF BEING RELEASED TO THE PERPETRATORS OF THE FRAUD AND WELLS FARGO, KNOWING THIS, CONTINUES TO FAIL TO PROVIDE ANY RELIEF VIA ASSURANCES, RETURN OF THE FUNDS, OR ANY OTHER ASSISTANCE. I was advised that it may have " blocked '' the account to which the funds have been deposited -- -- the very same account of the PERPETRATORS OF THE FRAUD - but that the block may only remain for a short time -- -- -- -- -- -- meaning the funds could very well be released to the perpetrators while Wells Fargo is on notice of the definite fraud. Time is of the essence. I have been the subject of the XXXX XXXX scam my tag name is XXXX XXXX I invested in stocks and never received any of the money I received a emai ( XXXX ) l in XXXX saying there were sending my account to XXXX due to the amount of money in my account and I received a financial statement from the company stating what was in my account and I called XXXX they rude told me I had no account and told me to not call back. I tried reaching out to XXXX XXXX and no luck. I also downloaded a app on my phone and it had my bank accounts and stock information sync up to the app but it had different peoples names on the app XXXX and XXXX. I also am having a hard time getting my credit report I wrote and had my credit report sent to me in XXXX and it had some things that were not mine like someone had a child in my name I was XXXX at the time of birth of child. And it had my business verified XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I found information that someone/someones are trying to steal my company. And every time I open a account for my credit or pre paid card I always get logged out and I never receive the card or can ever logg back in. And my account and name has been used to buy alot of property and someone has tried to XXXX me I have been XXXX XXXX and became homeless over this and my identity has been used to get government benefits and there also trying to get benefits from the veterans affairs also

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 My name is XXXX XXXX and I have asked my sister to help me send an email to you asking for you help with Wells Fargo whom I was banking with for I have no internet at the place where I am living just electricity. My troubles started earlier this year when someone hacked my account with Wells Fargo, filling out XXXX of their online loans and attaching it to my name and account from XXXX. Then all XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX when on XX/XX/2023, I deposited a Cashier cheek in the amount of {$10000.00}, everything checked out at the bank when I put the money in my account. However, by XXXX the same day I get a text from Wells Fargo stating that they have closed my account claiming fraud. Today I get another text from Wells Fargo saying I now owe them {$10000.00}. I have spent a lot of time on the phone arguing with them about this problem with no end in sight. I am left with no money for my bills and other expenses. Not to mention they canceled my charges I made at XXXX and XXXXXXXX XXXX where I spent the money for food and water. I am living in a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX where I must keep water in the storage tanks so that my pipes do not freeze up. I live off my social security check and my ex-husbands military retirement check. With this account closed I have had to try and get they sent to a new account but there is no guarantee that my money will get into the new account by XXXX. The sad thing about this problem is I am not the only one Wells Fargo has closed accounts on using fraud as an excuse. To me this is stealing the money that belongs to their customers. Wells Fargo is now saying I own them {$10000.00} then it was {$320.00}. I ask before leaving the bank how much would be available for me to use to get food and water, the cashier said {$400.00} so I left the bank and went an bought groceries and water, later that same day the fraud department text me and said my account was closed. Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX, I visited Wells Fargo to open a CD and new checking account, when I checked my Wells Fargo App, I noticed that on XXXX of the business account I have custody of for an organization ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ), has a balance that seemed low. When I checked the transactions, I found an unauthorized XXXX payment to XXXX XXXX was made Business to Business ( transaction date XX/XX/XXXX ). I reported to the bank the unauthorized transaction. On XX/XX/XXXX, the bank issued a letter that they can not reimburse the money back for the unauthorized transaction because per policy, the account holder only has XXXX hrs to report an authorized transaction. They are denying the reimbursement because the XXXX hrs have already laps since XX/XX/XXXX and referred me to XXXX XXXX to recoup the money. The bank failed to protect my money from an unauthorized transaction and refused to take any further action ( just an investigation ). I called XXXX XXXX and from their end, there is nothing to dispute because the bank allowed the transaction to happen through XXXX Business to Business payment. XXXX XXXX can only file a dispute if a XXXX credit card was used for the transaction and in this case, wells fargo allowed the payment to process. The money we entrusted to Wells Fargo ( {$4500.00} ) is now gone and Wells FArgo refuses to take any action to get the money back because XXXX hrs have already lapse.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX the XXXX I was notified by the banker that I was denied for an account and for credit. I immediately went home to check my credit monitoring service and was unable to access my XXXX file. It was completely gone. I then proceeded to contact XXXX and was transferred to the office of consumer affairs and spoke to a lady named XXXX. She asked me if I had any knowledge of multiple inquires and told me there were several attempts to acquire credit using my social security number. She said she was seeing two different files for my social security number. I asked her the name of the other profile which she said she could not disclose. She did however give me a date of birth XX/XX/XXXX. I informed her that I was not in any way associated with that date of birth or profile and in fact was a victim of identity theft. Which caused me denial with the banking system. I was told by XXXX that I would be contacted within 30 days after an investigation was done. I was never contacted but did receive an alert that my account was available again only to see an XXXX point decrease and 4 erroneous hard inquires which are from identity theft. My information was sold and bought illegally because I was a victim of the XXXX data breach. I want these items deleted from my credit reports effective immediately. I am attaching proof that XXXX has admitted that I was in fact a victim of this data breach and XXXX has done nothing. Please help me delete these illegal inquires and accounts from my credit reports. Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a formal complaint against Wells Fargo Auto regarding continuous violations of my rights and the disregard of federal regulations. Over the past year, I have made persistent attempts to opt-out of the reporting Wells Fargo Auto has been making to my consumer report, as per the guidelines outlined in 15 USC 1681b . Despite numerous attempts to rectify this situation and my explicit request to cease reporting, the company has persisted in reporting information without my written consent, which stands in direct violation of consumer protection laws. Moreover, Wells Fargo Auto has failed to disclose my right to opt-out of reporting, which is a clear violation of 15 USC 6801 and 16 CFR 313.7. These regulations explicitly dictate that consumers possess the right to opt-out of certain disclosures and that companies are obligated to honor these requests, a responsibility Wells Fargo Auto has neglected. I have sent formal notices explicitly exercising my right to opt-out, complying with the aforementioned regulations, yet Wells Fargo Auto has blatantly disregarded these notices and continued to report information without my consent. Additionally, I sent a legal tender as settlement payment for the outstanding account, adhering to legal regulations and my duty to settle the account. However, despite this action, Wells Fargo Auto continues to request further payment, ignoring my attempt to settle the account in accordance with the law. I am distressed by the continued disregard of my rights and the violation of multiple federal regulations by Wells Fargo Auto. These actions have caused significant distress and injury to my financial well-being and personal situation. As per the aforementioned laws, I am seeking immediate rectification of the negative remarks on my account, adjustment of reporting to accurately reflect my payment history, and adherence to the opt-out request made multiple times. I request an investigation into Wells Fargo Auto 's conduct, compliance with federal regulations, and remedies to rectify the damage caused by these continuous violations. I am looking forward to your prompt attention to this matter and a resolution that ensures compliance with federal regulations and the protection of consumer rights.

Consumer Complaint: Over the last XXXX year, I have submitted a mortgage application with every major bank and credit union in the United States. Initially, I am approved and offered loan terms. The very next minute, or day, the mortgage opportunity is taken from me. I have dealt with this on going problem for a long time, and likewise I have submitted multiple mortgage application, that are Initially approved, my credit is ran, my assets are verified and I am given a loan originator to work with and a loan number. In the various loan petals, I am tasked with items that need to be furnished to the loan company. Often times the tasks I am required to complete are done in the same day as the application itself. Just like that, the mortgage offer is resented, and when I inquire about the flip-flop act, to date no bank or loan company will share any info other than my credit score does not meet the mortgage company or banks standard. As I explain to the various, institutions the assets I hold and the job I have, can afford to pay outright for multie multi million dollar homes. The ability to pay the loan off is a effortless task. Next when I inquire about What adverse or derogatory items are on my credit while looking at the credit report there literally are no items on my report. I'm always told that I don't have enough credit established. Furthermore when I try to establish credit or raise my credit I get denied ; and have been every time for a secure credit card or unsecured credit card or any other credit building instrument. Literally I own XXXX XXXX dollars in assets, and I can't qualify for a mortgage. Unfortunately some of those assets are illiquid and I don't want to withdraw those funds ; athough if it meant getting a home I would. My total debt is {$14000.00}. I'm not a underwriter however I'm pretty sure my debt income ratio or my debt asset ratio is Better than 99 % of the United States Citizens and that would include those that turned me down after they proved me. So at this point I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, with no outlet simple put I'm trapped, and unfairly. I've applied so many times to all major banks and every major mortgage lender or hard money lender, that I'm exhausting my ability to inquire and apply for a mortgage. Banks including Wells Fargo, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and other all have approved my application, and 24 hours later despite the info provided by me as requested ; the offer ( s ) are withdrawn. Two of the three credit bureaus don't even generate a FICO score. The other lists my score above XXXX, which is the national requirment to extend a FHA loan. I have also tried non traditional methods to qualify for a loan, including supplemental credit qualifications, no document loans, and stated income mortgages, among various others. In total I estimate that I have submitted nearly 90 mortgage applications. Of those ninety ; eighty-five of those applications were approved, and also withdrawn.
