Consumer Complaint: Transworld System collection agency bought a debt from XXXX XXXX. This debt/account was opened fraudulently in my name. I have called the collection agency and XXXX XXXX multiple times in the month of XX/XX/2020 and no one will help me. When I called transworld system collection agency the collection agent just kept asking how I wanted to pay the debt after I repeatedly told him that the debt is not mine and is identity theft. The agent then said they were going to send me a fraud package to fill out but I have not received it. This has negatively affected my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: Around the middle of XXXX I checked my credit report and seen a new added collection from XXXX XXXX i immediately looked into the account to try and gather any information I could about the unknown debt. The first action I took was to dispute it with all 3 credit bureaus, and I also wrote the collection agency as well to get this resolved. I waited 30 days to hear back from both parties. I looked more into the negative information and it reports the debt was opened in XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX original creditor was XXXX XXXX now I'm more upset at the negative information because I been with my light company past 2 years so could i open a new account with them. XXXX comes back and says it's verified as my account which is impossible. So I looked into the FDCP section 809 and read upon the unfair debt practices I should have received a letter which gave me a right to dispute. So I decided to call and ask about the account. I asked the lady why are they reporting inaccurate information on my report and to verify the address. She tells me the debt was XXXX and gave an address of a city I never lived in now I'm really confused how did XXXX verify this debt was mines when the information clearly doesn't match. I'm currently trying to buy a house and it's very unfair to have a debt pop up out of nowhere and for them to tell me it's from XXXX that's a 6 yr old debt with a city I never lived in that my credit report is suffering behind inaccurate unverifiable information.
