Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: Transworld Systems inc. is in violation of 20 of the FDCPA Laws as you can see in Exhibit A, B, C, and D I sent Transworld Systems inc. a debt validation letter, Transworld Systems inc. failed to validate a debt at my request, which is a FDCPA violation and continued to report a disputed debt to the Credit Bureaus which is another FCRA violation. Also as you can see in Exhibit C and D the amount is reporting inaccurate. By reporting this debt to the credit bureaus it is causing damage to my character and that is Harassment under 15 USC 1692d ( 1 ) Pursuant to 15 USC 1692k - Civil liability, 15 USC 1692k ( a ) ( 1 ) and 15 USC 1692k ( 2 ) ( a ). I want an apology and I demand remedy by paying the invoice included of {$20000.00} and immediate Deletion from all consumer reports for my Federally protected consumer rights. Please I ask you to investigate this matter and help me from further harassment. Thank you, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I had an emergency XXXX ( XXXX ) and approximately XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I gave the hospital my insurance information at the time. I do not remember if I payed a copay. A few months after the XXXX XXXX, I received a bill in the mail. I do not recall the exact date or amount. It was approximately {$1000.00}. I paid the bill online according to the instructions in the bill. A few months after I paid the first bill, I received another bill. This bill was for {$430.00}. I was suspicious because I had already paid a bill for the medical procedure, but I paid this new bill online according to the instructions in the bill. In XXXX of XXXX I received another bill. The bill said that my debt of {$430.00} was still unpaid. I called the XXXX at which I had the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ) and spoke to the billing department. They said they had no record of sending me a bill or receiving payment. Then the XXXX connected me to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. A representative from XXXX XXXX said that they had no record of sending me a bill or receiving a payment from me, but the representative said that there were some debts on my account and the debts had been sent to Transworld systems for collection. I called Transworld systems and spoke to a representative. I asked to be given a summary of all of the debts on my account and an explanation of which medical procedures those debts were for. The representative said that she would send me that information via mail. I waited several weeks and did not receive the requested information. Then on XX/XX/XXXX I called Transworld Systems Inc. and spoke to a representative. I asked the representative to send me a summary of all of the debts on my account. The representative explicitly refused to send me this information. This situation is unacceptable. Transworld is refusing to tell me the total amount which I owe. I think that if I pay this bill ( the one for {$430.00} again ) they will just send me another bill in a few months to see if they can get me to pay them more money. What I am specifically reporting is : It is Transworld 's practice to disguise the total amount of a balance by sending multiple bills spaced months apart. I spoke to a Transworld representative who explicitly refused to reveal my total account balance.

Consumer Complaint: Received a letter dated XX/XX/22 from Transworld Systems Inc. that I owed a debt of {$400.00} to XXXX. I called TSI on XX/XX/22 to inquire what this was for. The representative said it was a customs duty fee that I must pay. I explained to him the situation as I had used XXXX to return a shipment to XXXX, and that shipment was refused and sent directly back to me without my knowledge. The representative immediately was on the offensive, telling me it doesn't matter that I didn't ask for it to be returned to the U.S. He stated that this was like any other 'fine ' from the government and I must pay his collection company now. He did not log my dispute and simply move on for further investigation. I hung up the phone and called XXXX, and gave their customer service the same explanation. The reasoning was found sufficient and the charge removed.

Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX, a federally protected consumer, and I am making this complaint against Transworld System Inc. for committing identity theft. Consumer Complaint: I am in the process of purchasing my first home and my mortgage lender made me aware that my credit score was XXXX points lower than expected. My credit score is affected by an outstanding medical bill from QUEST DIAGNOSTICS for {$50.00}. Service date of medical bill was XX/XX/XXXX. I am very diligent with paying medical bills so I immediately searched my XXXX and was able to find an email from XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) dated XX/XX/XXXX indicating I had paid the {$50.00} with my XXXX ending XXXX. See attached for proof of payment. I immediately called Transworld Systems Inc ( debt collector ). They said I had an outstanding medical bill of {$50.00} ( attached screenshot from TSI web portal ) and I confirmed with them that I had paid it. They said they would follow the standard dispute process for this. I have also filed a dispute letter, attached. I called XXXX XXXX multiple times between XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX and no one from their billing department is able to retrieve the associated claim because the invoice is from XXXX and all records from XXXX have been purged from their system. I need a letter from XXXX indicating that the {$50.00} was paid timely so that the credit agencies can remove this from my credit report since it is severely affecting my credit and ability to get a mortgage. QUEST is stating that they can not write me a letter because they can not see the related claim in their systems even though I have proof of payment, so I am at a standstill.

Consumer Complaint: In the summer of 2019, I was travelling to XXXX XXXX for a work conference ( at the time, I was a career employee at the Office of Management and Budget ). While I was in XXXX XXXX, I had to have an emergency XXXX - necessitating several different medical/emergency response entities to help address my issue ( i.e. XXXX emergency doctor to diagnose, private EMT company to transport me from emergency doctor to actual hospital, hospital stay, surgery, etc. ). All told, at the end of my predicament, I received nearly {$90000.00} in medical bills. However, because this was an emergency, my insurer ( XXXX XXXX XXXX said they would cover all of the expenses, even though I was out of network. As I began receiving all of the bills, I alerted XXXX and asked that each be paid and that they work directly with the individual entities to resolve the costs. Because XXXX is a network provider and many of the billing companies had headquarters elsewhere than Nevada, it was often incumbent upon me to help make sure the right regional network claims department for XXXX was connected to the appropriate billing entity. All told, XXXX did a pretty good job and followed through on their commitment to cover all of my emergency expense. However, there was XXXX company- despite repeated calls to work with XXXX- who chose not to. I do not know the reason, but XXXX XXXX XXXX failed to be properly reimbursed by XXXX, so they gave their outstanding bill ( {$1300.00} out of the more than {$90000.00} for my full treatment ) over to XXXX XXXX as a debt to be collected by me personally. Within a short period, XXXX began contacting me about the debt, to which I explained that this was to be paid by my insurer. They refused to contact XXXX ( as they were a debt collector, not XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and insisted that I pay the debt. Because my wife and I were looking to potentially by a new house at that time ( not to mention, the fact that I was above XXXX on all my credit reports ), I swiftly paid the balance so as to get the collection off my books. I am someone who has always had sterling credit. All credits cards paid in full and on time, my wife and I had been homeowners for several years by then and paid our mortgage on time and in full, etc. This incredulous, unhelpful action by XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX has now been a stain on my credit for nearly XXXX years. I retained to services of a credit repaid firm ( XXXX XXXX ) to help address the situation. Initially, their help was justified- they were able to file letters with both XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX to remove the collection from my credit reports. XXXX was able to remove the collection and has returned my credit score on their report to near my previous peak. However, no such action has been taken by XXXX or XXXX. I can not get a straight answer from the law firm, from the collection agency, or the credit companies as to why XXXX of them can look at my very clear case ( and perfect credit history ) and remove this ridiculous, unnecessary, and wrongfully applied collection to my credit history.. but the other XXXX can not. XXXX XXXX seems to be out of options to rectify this situation ( so I am cancelling their work on my behalf ), but I still have this abhorrent blot on my credit score which made it more expensive for my wife and I to buy our new home last year and still XXXX my credit scores. I fear that I will have years of negative impacts on my credit score and financial well being if this is not resolved. I feel abused by this system. I have always had sterling credit, I had an insurer to covered nearly {$90000.00} in emergency hospital bills, and now - because of this collection- it looks like someone who pays all of their other bills on time - and has for nearly XXXX decades- somehow was so irresponsible and broke that they couldn't pay a {$1300.00} medical bill? This just makes no sense and the credit system is making is unnecessarily difficult to resolve this ridiculous situation. I know my issue is not the most onerous or challenging for the Bureau. However, I do not feel that the system is operating fairly, rationally, or responsibly. I would very much like to get this erroneous and wholly unnecessary collection wiped off my credit reports and I need you help. Thank you very much for your time and attention to this matter. I stand ready to provide any additional information or documents that might help you resolves this situation on my behalf. I appreciate your assistance.

Consumer Complaint: I had an XXXX XXXX account and found it to be a terrible service so I cancelled it in XX/XX/2021. I kid these people the monthly fee for XXXX in the amount of {$29.00} and then another {$120.00} for a service call to use the service the last time which was taken on XX/XX/2021. I told them to no longer charge me as I am cancelling. They continued to try and take money out my account so I had my bank block them from doing so. Now Im getting a debt collection letter from another company stating I owe XXXX XXXX another {$88.00} which is completely false as I paid them in full my last month and no longer wanted their products. I called them many times and either never get an answer or I get the run around. Please dispute this as my credit is very important to me and I never have unpaid debts. This should be removed from my credit report and field as inaccurate and at this point fruadulant. Original account info XXXX XXXX XXXX : Phone XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX Debt collector that now has the account : Nationwide credit inc : Amount {$88.00} Phone XXXX
