Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX with XXXX University who decided in XX/XX/XXXX to switch their accounting to the Department of Education ( DOE ). Prior to this switch, they had University Accounting Service ( UAS ) as their accounting service. They did switch and per the DOE 's website, my payment had a due date of XX/XX/XXXX. The last statement I rec 'd from UAS was in XX/XX/XXXX, which had a due date of XX/XX/XXXX. That was paid and I even did due diligence and paid an addtl payment at the end of XX/XX/XXXX, even though I had no addtl statements from UAS. I took a screenshot of their website on XX/XX/XXXX and it reflected their wasnt anything due and my last login prior to the XX/XX/XXXX login was XX/XX/XXXX. I received a notice from XXXX University at the beginning of XX/XX/XXXX stating they decided to not use the DOE for accounting and would continue with UAS. I received a call from a UAS rep on XX/XX/XXXX stating my account was 100 days past due. I still had no addtl statements or correspondence from UAS after the XX/XX/XXXX statement, which I explained to the rep. I also explained to her that XXXX decided to use DOE for accounting and then changed its mind. She said she understood and would have someone look into in to it. I checked UAS 's website while on the phone with the rep ( XX/XX/XXXX ), and it reflected an amount due of {$58.00}, but had a due date of XX/XX/XXXX. When I went to pay it, it showed it as a past due balance, which was erroneous. I paid an amount of {$130.00} that day ( XX/XX/XXXX ), just to even one of my bank accounts. Mind you, nothing was due XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from UAS stating there were documents on my account. I checked my account portal and behold, there was a past due notice ... .again, still no statement generated from UAS after XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, their website reflected an amount due of {$170.00}, but with a due date of XXXX. Remember, there was only an erroneous past due balance on XXXX. I filed a complaint with the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX with the above details, along with screenshots of their website, etc., and received a response from UAS stating my account would be corrected and that nothing was reported past due. I received a credit alert on XX/XX/XXXX regarding a delinquency on my credit file. Behold, its regarding this particular student loan and showing that it was 60 days past due as of XX/XX/XXXX. This is incorrect. Look at the screenshot dates versus the conflicting/erroneous information on UAS 's website, as well as the screenshot from the DOE 's website with the XXXX due date.

They explained that they are requesting payments for my XXXX XXXX and that the original Servicer was my school, XXXX University. I never applied for direct loans with XXXX. XXXX 's XXXX XXXX team advised that I only had XXXX XXXX as my loan servicer. Most recently, I received an alarming letter stating that XXXX has " Accelerated '' my account and that the full {$17000.00} is due. It also notes that they are planning to send my account to collections to garnish my wages. I have already applied for the Borrowers Defense case against them, I would assume they should be able to collect anything while pending investigation and with the current Act in place. I don't remember agreeing to this and when I researched this matter, I determined I was not alone as a class action settlement * was approved in Florida in XXXX. I fought this charge through several channels and was finally credited the {$54.00} charge. ======================================= XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Posted On XX/XX/XXXX Type Credit {$54.00} ======================================= In XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX placed the billed amount plus an {$11.00} fee in collection with Transworld Systems , Inc. ( TSI ). When I asked XXXX why I was in collection after my account was credited, they told me my bank ( the one who has my XXXX credit card ) must have authorized this. I called the bank and here 's what I received- ( " The merchant has now agreed to credit your account for {$54.00} '' ). ** After multiple calls, XXXX agreed to collect just {$54.00}. I decided to pay them on XX/XX/XXXX because I feared that a collection account on my credit report would cause years of added expense from potential creditors, insurers, etc. I then followed up with TSI to be sure XXXX directed them to halt collection efforts. And while TSI told me my case was settled, they claimed they had no way to determine whether the collection account would appear on any credit reports. I thought it made sense to speak up. Consumer Complaint: Transworld system placed a collection on my credit report in XXXX off XXXX from a collection that supposedly took place on XXXX XXXX. I have never been informed of this account. It also has a natural disaster remark on it and I have never been affected by a disaster. I have tried calling the company several times with no answers or response just their voicemail. They will not return my calls. I do not see how they can just add something to my credit from three years ago without any notice to me that a bill was owed or for me to verify that it is even my bill.

This is in reference to a debt owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. account # XXXX. Total debt amount {$160.00}. Former XXXX XXXX. This creditors debt is invalid, i never received the services from XXXX for which they are unfairly trying to have me pay. The account was invalidly charged, no services was ever provided and the company XXXX never provided any letter of debt or service date for actual services. They were never authorized to perform any services for the amount they are asking me to pay. The debt companies, never followed the rules, never sent me a details breakdown of this debt. When asked to send the validation letter for this debt, these debtors never sent it. This is an invalid fee and needs to be revoked as they have sent it to my credit agencies and have lowered my XXXX, and other credit as they have put this fee on my credit which needs to be removed immediately.
