Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I retrieved a copy of my credit report and immediately noted that Transworld Systems Inc. had inserted a derogatory entry on my credit reports and had not sent me any correspondence ( dunning letter ) prior to doing which would have granted me 30 days as required by law to dispute the validity of the alleged debt. To that end, I communicated in writing ( see attached ), to the credit bureaus regarding this inaccurate, erroneous, unverifiable entry being placed on my credit reports. The credit bureau responded, see attached. The bureau responded that the company verified the information as correct. How so? A third-party collection company can only validate a debt. The original creditor is the only XXXX able to verify a debt. Nonetheless, Transworld Systems Inc. did not advise the bureaus to update the account status to disputed. This is a violation. The dispute with the bureaus was the first notification Transworld Systems Inc. received and should have advised the bureaus at the time they allegedly validated the information, to have the bureau update the entry to disputed. Transworld Systems Inc. did not and as you can see in the attached document, it does not denote it was in dispute. This violation in and of itself warrants Transworld Systems Inc. to delete this entry. My continued efforts to remove this entry from my reports was with a direct dispute to the company. If they were previously aware of the dispute from the bureaus and advised the bureaus that the entry was correct, they were negligent in not advising the bureaus to update the account to disputed. Transworld Systems Inc. did not provide the comprehensive account history for this account; including but not limited to all invoices, payments, notices, documents that bear my original signature. Transworld Systems Inc. did not : Provide an agreement that states your authority to collect on this alleged debt Provide an agreement with signature of the alleged debtor wherein he/she agree to pay the creditor Provide alleged account number Provide a date this alleged debt became payable Provide the original delinquency date Verify that this debt was assigned or sold to collector Complete accounting of alleged debt Provide name and address of the bonding agent for collection agency in case legal action becomes necessary If Transworld is alleging I owe this debt, why did they not provide the agreements for levelized billing? Utility payments that are reflected on consumer credit reports must have a levelized billing agreement. Transworld did not provide this information or any information for that reason. This entry is continuously updated each month which further diminishes my creditworthiness and has caused me to be denied credit. It is puzzling to say the least, that Transworld Systems Inc. can update a derogatory entry on my credit report but not respond to the certified disputes I have sent them and none have been returned as undeliverable. This dispute was sent out as certified mail on XX/XX/2022. ( please see attached ). Per XXXX it was delivered on XX/XX/2022. To date, Transworld has not responded, yet they continue to negligently report this inaccurate, unverifiable entry on my credit reports. The alleged address that Transworld has for this entry, I have never lived. Transworld Systems Inc. did not furnish an agreement reflecting their authority to collect on this alleged debt in the state of Illinois. Transworld Systems Inc. did not provide a copy of all terms and conditions of the account from its alleged inception. Transworld Systems Inc. blatantly violated my consumer rights and continues to do so. This alleged debt lacks veracity and verification ; further since they are violating FDCPA mandates to provide me notification prior to inserting it on my credit report and ( 2 ) failing to cease collection efforts and reporting when they received the letter of dispute, this entry should be deleted from my credit report immediately. Lastly, Transworld did not cease collection efforts as I requested and continues to report this negative entry. Transworld Systems should again, cease collection efforts and return this unverifiable, inaccurate entry to their client.

Consumer Complaint: I sent transworld system this document ceritfied mail and XXXX did not send the requested documents asked for in the validation request I mailed. Transworld system sent me a document that was typed out on a plain piece of paper with their logo on the top. Anyone create anything from a plain piece of paper. The response transworld system sent to CFPB is bogus! I know my rights as a consumer! Transworld system is a third party company who is to abide by the FDCPA laws. The validation request I sent goes as follows : I hereby dispute your claim and request validation of the alleged debt pursuant to the Fair Credit Debt Collection Practices Act. Please provide competent documentation as follows : Provide a copy of my signature on a contract or document that holds me responsible for this alleged debt. Document evidencing your company has the right to collect the alleged debt. The total debt balance with an explanation of all interest and fees. Date the debt became delinquent and/or the date of the last payment. The name and address of the creditor and the creditors account number associated with the debt. The name and last known address of the debtor as it appeared in the creditors records before the assignment of the debt to your company. The names and addresses of all persons or entities other than your company to which the debt was assigned. Send me proof that you are licensed to collect debt in my state. Cease any credit bureau reporting until the debt has been validated by me as required under the FCRA. Lastly, I hereby request no telephone contact be made by your offices to my home, cellular phone, workplace phone, telephone numbers of my family and friends. All future communications MUST BE DONE IN WRITING as telephone calls are inconvenient. FURTHERMORE, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR " VERIFICATION '' OR PROOF OF MY MAILING ADDRESS! Remove this immediately from all three credit reporting agencies for transworld system has violated FCRA laws!

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX Referencing the above CFPB case numbers, this is proof that XXXX XXXX XXXX is still attempting to collect a debt from my wife that was never hers, in an amount that she never agreed to. The company closed the account twice, and re-opened it once. Then at the same time, sold it to a collection agency in her name. I have attempted to settle this with XXXX XXXX XXXX and have had nothing but issues over the past few months. I am attaching a copy of the collection notice sent from Transworld on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I was in a car accident on XX/XX/2018, and now, three and a half years later, I received a collection notice for ambulance services. I did provide my health insurance information to the ambulance billing service, and didn't hear from them further till I received a collections notice three and a half years later. My health insurance doesn't show any claims from them - it appears that they never billed my insurance, never reached out to me again, and just sent the debt over to collections. They did bill my secondary insurance, which was my car insurance, as in the state of Florida all car accident medical claims must go through car insurance first. It was their mistake that they failed to bill my primary health insurance, even though they had the information. I'm especially aggrieved that they waited this long - this could have been resolved had they reached out to me in a timely manner.
