Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX specifically between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted identification documents to TransUnion via USPS mail and the Consumer Financial Protection Agency. Specifically, I submitted a copy of my social security card, drivers license, birth certificate and bank statement in order to correct my name, last 4 of SSN, address and to dispute the validity of accounts. However, I received a post card dated XXXX advising the documents I submitted were illegible, unacceptable because the bank statement was too old and not acceptable as proof of identity. Therefore, I mailed an updated bank statement dated between XX/XX/XXXX and mid XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted TransUnion consumer dispute department by phone at XXXX for an update regarding my request. I was advised by the representative that my file was a mixed file and it would have to be forwarded to the maintenance department. Specifically, there were at least 3 individuals with my exact name, the social indicated on the report was confirmed invalid upon review of my social security card. Unfortunately, due to the holiday, the maintenance department was unavailable and that the representative would notate my account and someone would contact me via phone or mail. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX I contacted TransUnion again at XXXX for an update and I was advised that they would have to forward the file to maintenance because none of the information has been corrected. Therefore, I was advised to contact TransUnion in 5 business days for an update. The representative also advised that my account is notated to confirm the issue. I have submitted all requested information via mail and online and yet, all of my information is still incorrect. I have also reached out to listed creditors who have been unable to validate and verify my personal information linked to the said accounts. However, I will deal with those disputes individually after my information is corrected. To validate my complaint I have attached several documents, including complaint correspondence and my most recent dispute results alongside credit report.
