Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX I received a copy of my consumer report and Ive noticed fraudulent account/inquiries. FTC definition states that " Identity fraud is when someone uses your personal or financial information without your permission ''. with that being said I have no knowledge of this inquiry and Transunion shall delete it. I did not give Transunion written consent to furnish my consumer report pursuant to 15 USC 16816 ( 2 ) " In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. '' once you receive this FTC report pursuant to 15 USC 1681 c-2 you shall delete it in 4 business days if not you would be in direct violation with the FCRA, knowingly continuing to use my information without my authority is another violation pursuant to 18 USC 1028a which is aggravated identity theft.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, I received my free credit report and have noticed discrepancies on a reported charge off account that violates my FCRA rights ( Fair Credit Reporting Act ) I have highlighted my concerns in the .pdf attached and ask that due diligence is done to confirm the validation of this debt. I have previously requested information from this collection agency and have in return received repetitive robot-like replies basically saying " take my word for it. '' I have not received real credible evidence including but not limited to : a signed contract, and the I.D provided at the time of contract signing. I've been made uneasy by the sloppy account keeping. I have provided FTC identity theft reports to this agency as well, per their request. They did not care and proceeded to ignore my request for deletion. I have spent months now attempting to work alongside the collection agency and have gotten nowhere. They refuse to provide me with valid information confirming the accuracy of the reported account. I am requesting that Transunion take control of the situation and determine the credibility and legality of this account by validating this debt. Across all three bureaus are inaccurate and contradictory reporting such as payment history, and account status. I would imagine that payment history and account status are the two most important attributes of an account on a credit report. Assuming that is the case, why are my accounts being reported this way? How can a person pay 45 % of payments on time for one bureau while simultaneously reporting 53 % payments made? This is not ok, this is not legal, and should be fixed ( deleted from my account. ) XXXX reports 45 % of payments made on time whereas XXXX reports 53 % of payments made on time. The payment dates and payment history, including times late, do not add up, and are not consistent, which adds credence to my claim that this company has sloppy reporting. All of this will be highlighted in the attached .pdf document for easy viewing. It is my understanding that accounts that are not accurately and consistently reported are in violation of my FCRA rights and if this debt can not be validated. XXXX XXXX

Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I filed a complaint with the cfpb stating that the credit reporting agency listed failed to provide information requested within the 30 day window allotted by law. They stated that I would receive a response to my request within 60 days of my request. The law states that the credit bureau has 30 days to provide this information so the credit bureau is already in violation of the law. Another waiting period is not acceptable and items are to be removed from my credit report immediately!
