Consumer Complaint: I returned a hot tub that I bought from Amazon. I have a tracking number. I was never credited for the return. I have disputed the charge with synchrony bank 3 times. They said the item wasn't returned properly. It was bought on XX/XX/2023. I was charged {$3900.00}. It was picked up by truck on XX/XX/2023. The tracking number is : XXXX. Synchrony bank continues to bill me and will not credit my return.

Consumer Complaint: I have a card with Synchrony PayPal World. My limit was {$1200.00}. I have never missed a payment, been late with a payment, or been over limit. I have paid the card off numerous times. In XXXX they lowered my credit line to {$890.00}, and also for some reason did a hard credit check which lowered my score. Last night, they lowered it again to {$580.00}, and did another hard credit check, which lowered my score again. Now I can not use the card for an upcoming vacation I had planned for my dad, nor if he goes back into the XXXX out of state I can't get a hotel room because they made sure to lower the credit line leaving me with an available {$19.00}. Which knocks my score down some more because of credit usage percentage. The reason? I own my home. I don't have any plans or mortgages on it. So they decreased my credit line.

Consumer Complaint: Rooms To Go credit card managed by synchrony Payments are due on the XXXX of every month XXXX payment was made on XX/XX/15 Received an overdue notice with late fee. I called customer service and was told I paid when the statement was generating and therefore it doesn't count. Asked for policy in writing that says you can only pay between certain dates and they would not send but did remove late fee. Today I am being told my account is delinquent and I must make a double payment. Spoke to them again and was told I paid a day to early. I Requested they apply that to the XXXX bill and they said the request was denied. Went up the chain and requested again and was denied. I also requested something in writing that lists restricted dates and they couldn't or wouldn't send it to me. I asked to speak to manager and was denied.

Consumer Complaint: I used the Synchrony Amazon Store Card. When it was time to make payments, I would go on the website and the website said " we are having technical difficulties and can not not access your account. Try again later. '' This happened 90 % of the time. It wouldn't let me access my account or look at statements. I incurred late fees, and each time I tried to pay, I would incur interest because it wouldn't let me pay them. CRAZZY. I cancelled the account, and paid interest for the late fees. This is an awful credit card, and the only time in my life ( I am XXXX ) that I have had this kind of trouble paying a card. I have an XXXX credit rating. I do not recommend this card to anyone. Avoid it!

Consumer Complaint: SYNCB/TJX COS has been sharing my personal non-public information with non-affiliated third parties including consumer reporting agencies. on XX/XX/year> I notified SYNCB/TJX COS that I am opting out of all and any authorizations whether written, unwritten, verbal or non-verbal for the sharing of my non-public personal information pursuant to 15 USC 6802 of the Gramm - Leach Bailey ( GLBA ) Despite my explicit opt out request and my clear assertion of my rights under the GLBA, I have reason to believe that SYNCB/TJX COS has continued to furnish my nonpublic personal information to non-affiliated third parties and consumer reporting agencies without my consent. This unauthorized use of my personal information constitute a serious violation of my privacy rights and a breach of federal law. I am deeply concerned about the potential consequences of this unauthorized sharing, including the potential for identity theft, fraud or other financial harm. Can the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau please investigate this matter thoroughly and take the appropriate action to ensure that SYNCB/TJX COS complies with all federal regulations and laws, including the GLBA, to protect the privacy and information security for consumers like me.

Consumer Complaint: I had a XXXX credit card issued through GE Money Bank XXXX XXXX. I made a payment agreement with GE Money Bank to settle the balance after it was past due. The phone number I called was XXXX & I set up the payment agreement with XXXX at ext. XXXX. I settled for a total amount of {$350.00} in which I made 2 payments. I made a payment for {$81.00} on XX/XX/XXXX & another payment for {$270.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I have copies of the checks from my personal bank account that was XXXX XXXX The transactions were completed successfully. I have been contacted every few years from multiple collection agencies trying to collect this debt, despite it being paid to the original debtor. Despite providing information to these companies multiple times showing the debt was paid, it still gets passed off to another agency. I have documentation showing a collection agency named XXXX XXXX contacted me XX/XX/XXXX regarding it. I also have letters dated XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX. Most recently, on XX/XX/XXXX, I received a text message from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, MO XXXX stating they are trying to collect the debt. I have contacted this agency to dispute the debt. On my most recent inquiry to XXXX credit card services a few years ago, they stated they didn't have record of the account under my social security number. Every collection agency I have provided this proof to has told me it would be the end of it, however, it keeps reappearing & is an endless cycle. I have to take time out of my busy schedule to send documentation, get harassing phone calls to myself & family, & it is causing me a great deal of stress as this has been ongoing for 17 years.

Consumer Complaint: I claimed that Care Credit threatened to list a bad credit report on the three credit bureaus for a " Medical '' debt that I had co-signed for my daughter. I was never informed of this delinquency because my daughter was up-to-date with this bill until she moved away. I was unaware of the status of this loan and never received any notification of this delinquency. I only found out about it when I applied but was not considered for a line of credit with XXXXXXXX XXXX because of a low credit score caused by a charge-off from Synchrony Bank XXXX I called Synchrony Bank that same day and made arrangements to pay the balance off in three monthly payments. I set up the payment schedule with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX as I spoke to the representative from Synchrony. The payments were sent to Synchrony Bank according to my agreement. My bank statements show that these payments were made as agreed, but Synchrony Bank 's answer to my complaint said they were not made as agreed. My complaint is threefold : 1. Although CFPB was aware that this was a " medical '' debt, they failed to comply with President Biden 's directive of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX that medical debt delinquency should not be reported to the credit bureaus. 2. Synchrony Bank never notified me that this account was delinquent ; I had to find out when I was turned down for a line of credit because my credit score was lowered from XXXX to XXXX. 3. Synchrony Bank defaulted on their agreement to clear my credit and considered it paid by not posting the payments.
