Consumer Complaint: I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX holder, however Synchrony has stated that I am NOT an XXXX holder, but XXXX says I am a XXXX XXXX holder, and that I have not points to redeem. I ask for technical support and have been told XXXX does not have technical support. I told the XXXX rep that not having technical support is alarming. Synchrony bank is not being transparent. Synchrony bank is not sending me notices and I am enrolled in XXXX statements. Synchrony bank can not help me, and sends me to XXXX. XXXX says that can help me. When I'm on the XXXX website, it shows I have XXXX points. It shows I have no account because there's no information on that site. I have to switch over to the Synchrony site. The synchrony site has no information, so I have to log onto each individual statement to see what my rewards balance is and those reward balances are fluctuating and I'm NOT able to access rewards points on either site from my phone or my laptop. The XXXX states Synchrony is responsible for handle the rewards points and responsible for the technical issues on the website. The Synchrony bank is billing for digital services, however there is no discloser on the statement identifying the service I am being charged for.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Charged too much interest
Consumer Complaint: When I opened my account and afterwards made my 1st payment ( for the full statement balance ) I was sent an email later hat day and another one a few days later confirming my payment. But, a few days later I was notified that I had not made any payments yet. Wen I called Synchrony I was told that there had been a problem routing my payment, so I made a payment over the phone and they agreed to remove the late fee and interest charges. Since their notification regarding my payment problem likely came only after they had prepared next month 's statement, it did not include a credit to allow for my payment over the phone. It was therefore not clear to me how much I had to pay by next time to avoid interest charges. I received no revised statement and so I had to guess how much I would have to pay so as to not have tp pay any interest. Next day, after the {$200.00} or so that I paid was credited I saw no sign online of what my revised payment to avoid interest should be.and ditto when I phone them ( tedious automated system ). Both their Website and phone system indicated NO payment due. I just spoke tp someone at Symphony and was told that they would remove the interest charge as a " courtesy ''. I was also told that I should have paid the FULL statement balance in my previous statement - even though it was about {$600.00} over what it really was! And this from a so-called " supervisor ''. Synchrony has messed-up at least twice now!
