I have to call the card and if I dont ' have time i have to find time. also there website is not secure and shakes so when making payments its difficult to click on to the correct date as it moves.

As Defined by The IRS Even if you didn't receive a Form 1099-C, you must report canceled debt as gross income on your tax return. The IRS Clearly defines a charge off as Gross or Ordinary income, INCOME DOES NOT GET REPORTED ON THE CONSUMER REPORT which in fact makes your reporting of this account inaccurate! By Definition The IRS Clearly says a Cancelled debt or Charge off is Income. The reporting of this account as a debt is in accurate. 15 USC 1681 s-2 Says ( Company name ) is a furnisher of information to a consumer reporting agency. SYNC/Ashley/Furniture IS PROHIBITED BY LAW to furnish inaccurate information. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 while at the dentist 's clinic, when I was reviewing the costs of my treatment, the dentist assistant used my available credit on CareCredit from Synchrony Bank, as a reason not to negotiate prices with me. She came over and said I had over " X '' dollars to spend on my card, so no excuse not to do the treatment or pay the full price. The whole dentist office knew how much credit I had available, and they pretty much decided on how I should use it in total disregard with my possibility to pay back such credit card. This was only possible because CareCredit shared my private information.One thing is the merchant getting a charge approved, but knowing how much credit I have available is completely unacceptable.

Really odd timing considering I just contacted them a couple weeks ago to get a new card mailed to my new address. This is a card that has never held a high balance and never had a payment missed. Synchrony stated the following Too Many Revolving Accounts With High Balance Compared To XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Many Bankcards With High Balance Compared To Credit Limit Too Many Inquiries 1. Whether I have other accounts with high balances shouldn't matter on an automated review, this card does not and has not carried any balance near the credit limit. 2. What does having a mortgage have anything to do with having a Lowe 's credit card? I shop at Lowe 's for my side job nearly every week. 3. Again, why does it matter if I have other cards with high balances if this one isn't? 4. Synchrony is not attempting to issue me new credit so having many inquiries doesn't matter. XXXX XXXX just did this same thing on another card. The bank will claim your credit score is low, but then lower your credit limit or close your card, causing your credit score to drop further impacting the rest of your financial health. This is straight anti-consumer activity by Synchrony Bank, harming Americans by closing accounts that have never had a negative financial impact to them.

These accounts should not be furnished on my consumer report as they are in VIOLATION!!! Under, 15 U.S Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports ( a ) IN GENERAL Subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the WRITTEN INSTRUCTION of thi consumer to whom it relates. Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank Credit Cards. They readjust/cut your line of credit in half & Close your accounts when in great standing of never paying late, usually early, paying more than the monthly minimum. This is their practice to guarantee that a customer credit rating never improves and therefore keeps the customers only qualifying for Synchrony cards at high interest rates. And not being able to qualify for competitions cards. Example : Synchrony card approved for {$1000.00}. You use 20 % of it, within 3 months, with on time payments they Cut the card limit to {$500.00}. Now your credit rating drops automatically because your card usage increased to 80 %. ( I have 5 cards with them & they did it to each one ). Each time they do this, credit rating drops because of increase card usage, even though I have not bought anything new on any of them. So this week, they notified me they closed one of my accounts due to my credit rating dropping ( that they caused!! ) And therefore my credit rating drops again for the closed account rating ( which they caused! ) This is guarantee for them to keep a client base, because customers now don't qualify for competitors cards. They have done this to hundreds, if not thousands of customers. This needs to be addressed and changes made to their " Monopoly '' way of practice, that Harms the customer. In fact, I would like to see if it qualifies under any " RICO ACT '' Laws.
