Consumer Complaint: Sued and garnished for over {$6000.00} by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I believe used illegal collection tactics. Without legal notifications. I have court XX/XX/2023 with this collection company. Look forward to disputing the claims in court. No surprise that this company is currently under investigation. Typical behavior from a company that will do almost anything for the almighty dollar. Hope this company is investigated thoroughly.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 Hello, I have been having issues with my Paypal account for weeks and today when I entered again a screen showed a message saying that I need to call a number ( in red ) because the account was limited. The phone was : XXXX. I called the number and the " employee '' asked me regular questions and somehow he ended up sending me a XXXX XXXX link to enter with me to my account. He did. He said that there was an attempt to enter to my account in Texas and California and that he needed to check information. I even entered my social security number for this reason. At some pint he clicked a sign that asked to accept something. I saw it was a credit line for {$1300.00}. I express I did not wanted that line of credit and the employee said that it was only for a " security process ''. The called ended and when I check my email I got an alert form XXXX XXXX that Paypal requested credit info for the credit line of {$1300.00}. I called again to the same number and It was the same person! Saying that that will erase after Paypal finish the security process. I ended the called saying that I will call back in two days. I wen online and called a different number for Paypal and they send me to call their fraud departament. I still have the {$1300.00} in my Paypal account which I never requested. I am afraid of identity fraud with this person that entered to my information by a Team Viewer. Thanks, XXXX. PS. In addition, I was under the impression that they could not call me to speak with me about a particular debt for seven days after having a conversation about it.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am writing this dispute due to I have an account with Synchrony Bank and the representatives at Synchrony Bank did not assist me nor help remedy their automated system error. I had set-up Auto Pay on XX/XX/2023 for the minimum amount of $ XXXX due to be deducted from my main bank account on XX/XX/2023. This date of XX/XX/2023 was confirmed by their account system with a given confirmation number ( # XXXX ) with a notice that a late fee will be charged. This change was well before the payment date and due date on the credit card account. Upon checking my main bank account on XX/XX/2023, there was a payment that was not confirmed/approved made to Synchrony Bank made for the amount of $ XXXX. This caused me to be charged multiple overdraft fees with my main bank and I was told there was nothing that the organization could do about their misinformation in their system. Thank you,

On XX/XX/23 I charged {$470.00} at Lenscrafters for eyeglasses. I handed them my care credit card. When my statement arrived on XX/XX/23 there was no promotional period with deferred interest. I called Care Credit and was told the merchant must have entered the transaction incorrectly. I believe this is a pattern of deception in an effort to collect 26.99 % interest from me rather than permitting the typical XXXX months interest deferred promotion. I have cancelled my card due to their deceptive practices and want to file a formal complaint. I will take a personal loan so as not to pay the predatory interest rate that was forced upon me. I have been a loyal customer of Care Credit for more than XXXX years and did not expect this treatment.

Consumer Complaint: Was financially impacted by Covid, missed a payment for Care Credit which I had to get because of the Covid virus didnt have funds available. The account was closed 2 Months later for no apparent reason tried contacting the supervisor about my account she had a horrible attitude and basically told me to kick rocks. As a retailer who offers synchronys card I would hate for anyone to obtain it and is no longer going to recommend it either.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, XXXX I received items from merchant XXXX that did not match the description on the website. Initially, the company was unwilling to provide a return shipping label to me so I could mail the items back. However, I was provided a shipping label on XX/XX/2023 and the items were successfully shipped back to the merchant. The dispute with this merchant is STILL in limbo between PAYPAL and PAYPAL CREDIT ( Synchrony Bank ). Per Synchrony Bank, the dispute was CLOSED on XX/XX/2023. However, the case is still OPEN in the PAYPAL system and has NOT been reviewed since XXXX. I EMAILED PAYPAL with the CLOSURE LETTER I received from PAYPAL CREDIT **THREE TIMES** yet the case remained OPENED and UNRESOLVED. I have contacted BOTH PAYPAL and PAYPAL CREDIT and NEITHER company has been helpful. Each representative points the finger at the other and I was left with no resolution. I have been hung up on REPEATEDLY and spent HOURS on hold seeking resolution. I explained to MULTIPLE representatives AND managers that there appears to be a glitch in their systems which is holding up the resolution of the case, but NEITHER company offered assistance to fix this issue and its been ongoing for over 2 MONTHS now. I even asked PAYPAL CREDIT ( Synchrony Bank ) to stay on the phone with me and help facilitate a resolution with PAYPAL. Instead of assisting me with the issue, the representative placed the call BACK IN QUEUE and I had to go through the prompts all over again!! XXXX has already agreed to refund my money ( {$220.00} ) once the case is CLOSED. However, since its still OPEN in the PayPal system, they are unable to move forward with processing the refund. PAYPAL and PAYPAL CREDIT ( Synchrony Bank ) need to get it together and ensure their systems are updated and capable of addressing consumer issues. Im annoyed and dont want to do business with ANY of these companies going forward. Poor leadership, poor processes and poor controls!
