Consumer Complaint: I have had a Lowes credit card for many years. When I went to the hospital this summer, I wanted to have my son and his friend be able to pick up things from the store for me. When I called Lowe 's to add them to my account, Lowe 's canceled my card and issued two cards to the boys. When Lowe 's did this, they put hard credit hits on each of the boy 's credit reports without their permission. I still await my replacement card that was taken and blocked during a time when I have needed to use the card. This has been very inconvenient for me. When I called to ask them to take the hard hits they put against the puts off, Lowe 's refused and said the boys would have to call them themselves and provide social security numbers and driver 's licenses to have the hits removed. This is not fair to the boys who did not ask to have Lowe 's search their accounts.

Consumer Complaint: I requested a line of credit from Synchrony Networks to maintain my score or it will increase. A self-payment through the company 's application was scheduled for the XXXX, which was the payment deadline. I had not seen that the company takes 2 to 3 business days to complete the payment, as soon as I noticed I updated the self-payment date for the XXXX of each month, in the same way I made a payment for {$90.00} on XX/XX/2023 for the application. Similarly, on XX/XX/2023, another {$90.00} of self-payment was collected. Despite not entering into late payments, the company reported information to XXXX that left me XXXX XXXX. Filed a dispute with XXXX which resolved that Synchrony Networks should send updated information. At the moment my score with XXXX has only gone up XXXX XXXX Likewise, on XX/XX/XXXX, another payment for {$60.00} was made, which was reflected immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I have an account with farm home that is owned by sincroni bank last month i made a payment and requested that it be applied to the promotional balance. The regular payment was not due at that time. They told me it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles and it would show up. The billing cycle passed i looked at it on line and it did not show a promo balance. Today i tried to use the card and they closed the account saying it was because of my other accounts and too much credit. i had the customer service person check on the promo balance. she said they only applied part of it to the promo balance. Also i can no longer look at the account on line because it says we no longer service your account. The person i talked to typed in a request that the amount be corrected and applied to the promo balance again saying it will take two months for it to happen. She said i should still be able to access on line but i can not it says account is no longer being serviced. I do not get paper copies of the billing. The promo balance is due to be paid off by XXXX billing date which is the XXXX That amazingly enough is 2 months from now. They are trying to keep me from paying my promo balance because they will then charge me interest for the entire original balance. There is no one to talk to except the person on the phone and they have no authority. I need help with this i have tried to pay it off but they are basically refusing my payment. they said they could not send me proof that they had noted it in their system either. They claim there is no way to prove i asked that it be applied i just had to trust that they would apply it properly and as you see they did not. This is very underhanded closing the account so i can not see what is happening with it and not applying the payment as requested. i tried at XXXX other point to pay the promo balance but they did not they will apply XXXX dollars which is not enough to cover the balance by the end of the term that is why i wanted to pay more. It would need to be XXXX each month from now until the promo ends. i feel they are intentionally doing this to get the interest on the promo even though they offered free XXXX on it for 15 months. I held up my end but they are getting away with this an no one is doing anything. i am sure i am not the only one. They should be brought up on fraud charges by someone. I am not the only one they have done this too. additionally i have no paperwork i can attach to file this complaint because when i try to access the account it says they do not service it any longer. please be fast

Consumer Complaint: Snchrony Bank has singlehandedly and intentionally sabotaged my credit with their false credit reporting. I hold 3 different accounts. One with paypal mastercard, one with paypal credit, and one with Lowes credit. As of today they have closed all three current non delinquent accounts based on a retaliatory act. They claim that based on their information I am considered a high risk of failure to pay. Mind you I have never defaulted on any existing creditor or have been late with any existing creditor for over 7 years. I have waited 7 years to establish new credit after I was forced to file for bankruptcy 7 years ago due to outstanding medical bills. But when I hit my 7th year Snchrony has been nothing but disrespectful towards me treating me like an immigrant that has no credit.. This complaint has to do with my Lowes account. I have paid down this project monthly as agreed with the contract. But thats not good enough! I have paid more than the minimum payment for several years not once missing a payment and the thank you I get for being a great customer is " we are closing your account because you are a risk of not paying. '' On my credit bureau, Again there are no indications of defaulting on any of my creditors, on the contrary I have an outstanding payback history Any negative reporting has been caused by Snchrony bank and their false claims that I went over my credit limit by 300 percent due to their retaliatory act of reducing my credit line because I retracted a payoff to the paypal mastercard account, this after they froze my account for a suspicious large payment. Since XXXX of XXXX they have been claiming i became a high risk of not paying and have reported incorrectly to my bureau ruining my credit score. Something needs to be done. No other creditor does this lunacy to good customers.

Consumer Complaint: I received alerts notifying me that there has been a data breach with a government entity that has my PI stored in their systems. I was urged to take action by reviewing all of my information to make sure there are no changes or anything unrecognizable on my accounts. I was also urged to change my information. This has happened twice already and when I reported the issue the first time after noticing some changes on my credit report, the issue had not been fixed. I tried placing a lock on my credit report but I discontinued with the payments which they then discontinued the service.

As a former XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I am applaude and have never seen such blatant disregard for consumer law and predatory lending. The account is now in litigation.

Consumer Complaint: I have received numerous invoices from PayPal Credit that I am not familiar with. PayPal Credit, XXXX Bank keeps sending me invoices with interest accrued. I called PayPal XXXX Bank on XX/XX/2023 to get some answers. XXXX talked to me, PayPal could not produce any itemized invoices for merchandise I purchased. I was referred to XXXX at the PayPal XXXX Bank fraud department and was told this investigation would take at least 60 days. I mentioned to XXXX in the fraud department that I am currently in the process of buying a new home and this severely affects this process. Nothing she could do. Then the line went dead. Fraud Department Ref. # is XXXX, ph. # ( XXXX ) XXXX. I just called this number this morning and was on hold for 30 minutes and hung up. Also, this morning, I received an email from PayPal describing a {$640.00} transaction charged to me. I have absolutely no idea what this charge is for. And on the PayPal email, a disclaimer on top reads : This may be a scam. Can you please try to remedy this as soon as possible so we can proceed with the home purchase and not loose the lot and home we decided on with XXXX XXXX here in XXXX California. Thank you XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: A company called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, SC XXXX ph. # ( XXXX ) XXXX has flagged my credit report on XXXX, 2023. They are asking me to pay {$2300.00} for a debt on an account that I never had. I contacted them to dispute the charges and asked them to send me the original account holders info. After contacting the original account and verifying with them I have never had relations to them I then contacted XXXX again to inform them this is not my account.They told me they would send me an affidavit to sign, but instead reported a collection to my credit report the next day.
