Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the fair credit reporting act XXXX XXXX XXXX has violated my rights. 15 U.S.C 1681 Sect. 602 A states i have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C. 1681 Sect 604 A Sect 2 it also states that, A consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. Pursuant to Title 15 USC 1692c ( c ), I dispute the ALLEGED debt and refuse to pay the ALLEGED debt. Remove ANY AND ALL reporting of the debt collection activity from all consumer reporting agencies. I expect full compliance with this request within fifteen ( 15 ) days of the receipt of this letter. Failure to comply with this request will leave me no choice but to pursue all available legal remedies under the FDCPA and any other applicable laws to protect my rights. Sending a statement does not prove this is my debt. You also had someone trespass onto my property per my cameras to deliver a package not once, but twice that my dogs chewed up. You have also sold my information to 3rd party agencies as i am getting letters from attorneys about being sued. This again violates 15 USC 1681. Cease and desist immediately as well as remove the judgement.

Issue: Trouble using your card
Subissue: Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit
Consumer Complaint: I had asked for a credit increase to my amazon store card back in XXXX that was denied. My credit limit then was XXXX XXXX In XXXX I was notified by XXXX XXXX that this account had reduced my credit line impacting me negatively. It also made sense when I looked into it knowing i had transactions on XXXX declined because again that credit line had been reduced. I contacted synchrony which provided me as evidence my XX/XX/XXXX letter of the denial for my limit increase. They have yet to provide any letter or proof of that notification. I have asked why i was notified my my credit monitoring service, and for an increase back to my original credit line. Changes like this impacted me negatively by both making my credit utilization to almost 100 % on that line, while leaving me to improperly plan expenses. This should never happen and they should address concerns like this more accurately.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was paid
Consumer Complaint: I have been going back and forth for the last couple of months with several departments and contacts at Synchrony Bank regarding retroactive interest they charged on a zero-interest financing I had for some purchased furniture. I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, via the CFPB website concerning case XXXX. This case concerned Synchrony retroactively charging me 30 % interest back to my original purchase date in XX/XX/XXXX. I tried calling the contact number on that letter for many days and there was no answer, and the voicemail box was ( and still is, as of the date of this complaint ) full, as stated in the outgoing message. Instead, I wrote to Synchrony on XX/XX/XXXX explaining that I completed all my payments for my original purchase by the end of XX/XX/XXXX. The promotional period for my interest-free financing ended XX/XX/XXXX. Upon review of the first statement of my purchase in XX/XX/XXXX it specifically states in order not to incur deferred interest charges, I must pay off my Promotional Balance by the Promotional Expiration Date. These are all capitalized terms and thus are very important. No where in this statement or any subsequent statement does it indicate that any late fees ( which I did incur ) are part of the Promotional Balance. As I paid off that Promotional Balance by the Promotional Expiration Date, I would not owe any deferred interest. I sent copies of my statements from Synchrony where the above was clearly highlighted. The reply I received on XX/XX/XXXX stating, " ... .Any remaining balance and applicable fees have become part of your regular balance ". This is in direct conflict with the capitalized terms in their statements to me. In fact, they also stated, " ... If you have any questions about the promotional financing, please refer to the promotional summary on your prior statements ''. But that is EXACTLY what I did in my letter dated, XX/XX/XXXX AND I sent copies of those summaries as well highlighting the capitalized terms. It seems as if they have simply ignored my points and given me the same answer to pay up, which I do not agree with.

Consumer Complaint: I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to raise an important issue that pertains to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Under the provisions of the FCRA, specifically 15 USC 1681 section 602 a, there exists a crucial need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies, such as XXXX and XXXX, fulfill their obligations with utmost fairness, impartiality, and respect for consumers ' right to privacy. However, it has come to my attention that certain actions undertaken by these consumer reporting agencies may be in violation of the aforementioned principles. This is deeply concerning and raises questions about their commitment to upholding the rights of consumers. Given the importance of consumer reporting agencies in maintaining accurate credit information and protecting individuals ' privacy, it is crucial that appropriate measures are taken to address any potential breaches or misconduct. I kindly request that you thoroughly investigate the practices of XXXX and XXXX to ensure compliance with the FCRA. It is imperative that these companies fulfill their responsibilities in a manner that prioritizes the rights and interests of consumers. I appreciate your attention to this matter and your efforts in holding consumer reporting agencies accountable. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to address these concerns and maintain the integrity of the credit reporting system. I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of utmost concern, which involves a violation of the law. As per the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ), it is unlawful for any person to provide inaccurate information about a consumer to any consumer reporting agency, if they have

Issue: Closing your account
Subissue: Company closed your account
Consumer Complaint: I recently opened a Synchrony Amazon store credit card which provides 5 % back on purchases with Amazon. There was a low credit limit of {$6000.00}, which required me to buy items up to my limit, then pay off the card so that I could use it again. I had to do this multiple times, especially during Amazon 's prime day where there were items on significant discount. I logged on to the Synchrony account management on XX/XX/2023 to find my account closed with no explanation, as well as $ XXXX of earned rewards taken away. The letter I received stated the reason for closure was " Payment and unusual purchase history on your credit account that Synchrony deems may be indicative of future intention not to pay ''. This is a bogus reason as I had paid down my balance to XXXX on multiple occasions. Synchrony has taken away my rewards worth more than {$1100.00} earned under their cashback program and benefited from merchant exchange fees and purchase fees. From my statement on XX/XX/2023, which covered purchases up to XX/XX/2023, I had already earned {$770.00} in rewards ( statement attached ). Additionally, Ive attached an export of my transactions since that statement to show additional purchases and payments made over that time period which shows the assertion that I intended to not pay laughable. If I intended not to pay, I would not have paid down my statement balance on multiple occasions. I accrued additional rewards since my statement which were taken away from me by Synchrony. This company is using deceptive business practices to benefit off the consumer.
