Consumer Complaint: On Friday XX/XX/XXXX at about XXXX I received a call from a representaive with Select Portfolio Servicing and I was told they are not and will not change the modification or payment arrangement so that it will be affordable for me to pay. I feel this is UNFAIR TREATMENT because of the color of my skin and my gender and the defaultness of the account. I have always tried to work with this collection agency but hey will not cooperate unless bankruptcy is filed to mess up my credit. I just want to be treated fair. Thanks

Consumer Complaint: I was approved by the state of Florida for financial help with my mortgage for 6 months starting XXXX first XXXX. The state of Florida sent the first check in the amount of {$1100.00} to the mortgage company SELECT PORTFOLIO SERVICING, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX, and when I called them about the payment, they told me that would take 30 days to process the payment. A this point The state of Florida has sent the payments for the months of XXXX, XXXX and XXXX and the bank has not allocated the payments in my account. they refuse to give me a straight answer about the situation. Consumer Complaint: For the month of XX/XX/2023, I paid electronically thru my bank account the mortgage loan.payment due for XX/XX/2023 they collected the payment on XXXX third and the money was deducted from my bank account on XXXX third. Select Portfolio services contacted me on or about XX/XX/XXXX. by regular mail telling me they are attaching late charges to my accdount and that they are missing payment for the month of XXXX XXXX sent them proof of payment in the form of my bank statement where it shows the transaction number and information the payment received and collected by select portfolio Services. I have sent Select portfolio Services all they proof they need that shows the payment collected on XX/XX/XXXX. Theyn still telling me that I have not paid, and they are harassing me with phone call telling me that they will report me late to the credit bureaus and to send them another payment which i think is an abusing behavior by part of this institution. they do acknowledge receiving my bank information. but hey said that it will take.more tahn 30 days for the bank to complete the investigation in the meantime they are demanding i send them another payment which is not right in my view

Consumer Complaint: The company put the mortgage account under someone's XXXX who never owned the property. I have tried for XXXX XXXX to prove that person never owned the property. They continue to provide tax information and all of it has the wrong XXXX. I have provided the trust documents and they still refuse to put it under the proper XXXX. I have gotten a lawyer involved and they still refuse to change the information. There is not one person to go to so you have to explain the situation to a different person each time you call. The company is SPS ( Select Portfolio Servicing ) In XX/XX/2022 I reached out to change the account name because the Account name because the account was associated with grandmother not me. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Instead of updating the account name to match the SSN they updated the SSN to match the account name. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I provided various documents proving she never owned the property but company has not changed the information. They agree that the property belongs to me but they have so many departments that can not interact with XXXX another that nothing has been done. I need to file taxes but they continue to provide erroneous tax information

Consumer Complaint: Hello my name is XXXX XXXX. I am trying to help my customer XXXX XXXX XXXX. Her phone # is XXXX. Her email address is XXXX. Please copy her on all information. I am helping because of the language barrier. She has a mortgage on her house. She is having issues with the mortgage company that I am trying to help her get resolved. Last XXXX she made her payment of {$1000.00} but the mortgage company tried to cash it for {$4000.00} by mistake which bounced. They have agreed this was their mistake. It was just mistyped. They were going to send a {$3000.00} refund when they saw the check did not clear. They told her not to send it the payment again and they did not compensate her for the bounce check they caused. A couple of months later they sent a letter to her trying to get her to do a loan modification which she did not want to do. She has made her payments on time ever since but they have since sent her loan to a collection company. She talked to them in the beginning. I started calling every month since XXXX 2022. I have spent hours on the phone with them trying to get this resolved. Every month I talk to a different person who at the end of the call says yes this is not her fault and they will get it fixed. But they never do. In XXXX I talked to a representative and she said the loan had been modified and they would have to redo the loan to fix it. She told me to send an email to them at that time saying that she did not want the loan modified. She just wanted to make her payments. In XXXX I talked to a gentleman and he said he would get it fixed. In XXXX I talked to a gentleman and he claimed the {$3000.00} check was cashed. I requested a copy of her statements and a copy of the cashed check that they claimed was cashed. They have never sent it to us. It seems like they are trying to take advantage of an elderly lady. We could use some help with this situation. Please let me know who we should contact.

Consumer Complaint: I XXXX XXXX with Mortgage Company Select Portfolio Servicing. My loan number is XXXX. I am writing in this complaint concerning the too high modification plan. I am asking van you lower the mortgage plan or revise or maybe consider m income on the front end so that I could pay the requested amount of a lower mortgage. I am trying to work with the mortgage company to please help me so that I can stay in he home. I received paper work today and I noticed in he paperwork that on XX/XX/2023 my mortgage is supposed to be 4 % interest rate and my mortgage will b XXXX for 12 months. Can we please go with that plan and put all payments that are late on the back end of the loan. I feel that I am truly being discriminated against. I am asking and willing to pay a less amount that which was the original payment agreement. Select Portfolio has done it before and did not double the mortgage payment at that time. Can my mortgage payment be what was previous agreed upon of XXXX beginning XX/XX/2023 please. I need help in this matter. I also did small home repairs. I already know I will not get what I am asking for because of my race and XXXX. I know foreclosure papers will be sent out. I m jut asking for mercy in this matter to move forward with a affordable mortgage and be happy.

Consumer Complaint: I am a hurricane Ian victim and my loan is currently on a forbearance program ending this month. My interest only loan was on hold with no additional interest or fees. I received my statement on XX/XX/2023. I called multiple representatives and was on hold countless times. The forbearance monthly payment total doesn't add up correctly. There are additional charges added which are not itemized on the statement. Today I spent more than XXXX hours on the phone with multiple SPS servicers XXXX, XXXX and others, who weren't able to adress my question in this regard. The last supervisor XXXX XXXX promised to call me back on Monday with the explanation. Also as a hurricane victim my XXXX hazard insurance was legally binding and active regardless that I missed my last quaterly payment of {$810.00}. I found out that SPS paid my hazard insurance bill on my behalf without my admission on XX/XX/XXXX and told that they added this charge to my escrow. I sent a request to remove my insurance payments from my escrow as I need to control my financial obligations myself.

Who provided the initial funds and how? 2 ) Is SPS a debt collector? if yes, identify yourself as such. 3 ) Does SPS have a contract with said mortgage holders, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX 4 ) If such a written contract exists then provide the contract with original wet signature. 5 ) On XX/XX/XXXX, there was an assignment of mortgage to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : said mortgage holders, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX were never notified. Said mortgage holders, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX does not have a written contract with SPS and has never assigned power of attorney to SPS to act on their behalf. Said mortgage holders has never assigned power of attorney to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX or any of their subsidiaries, derivatives, trusts or any other entities or associated persons. -Why was the assignment made? -Who authorized the assignment? 6 ) This mortgage contract with SPS has been in dispute for over a year, why is SPS still reporting derogatory information to the credit agencies? This is causing damages. 7 ) Who authorized SPS to send any information to the credit agencies? As a consumer, said mortgage holders never authorized it.

Consumer Complaint: My client 's monthly mortgage statement has listed two methods for contacting the servicer listed, with a single point of contact, XXXX XXXX. There is a phone number with an extension for XXXX XXXX and an email address : XXXX. My client has tried more than five times to reach Marisa Iglesias at the number provided and has been unable to reach her. She said that she was on hold during one of these attempts for several hours, only to be hung up on by the automated system. I emailed XXXX a Request for Information on XX/XX/2023. The email came back undeliverable. I tried again the next day and after over 50 hours of retries, gmail was unable to deliver email to the address. I tried it from two separate computers and a cell phone and all came back undeliverable.

Consumer Complaint: The problem began approx. XX/XX/2022. I had a business loan for {$430000.00} with SPS. My monthly payments were $ XXXX. I had a XXXX % interest rate. For some reason, Select Portfolio Servicing ( SPS ) put money into my checking account ( around {$2800.00} ) that they were not supposed to put in there. I thought it was an escrow overage so I put the money into the stock market and unfortunately, I lost it. Then SPS contacted me to tell me I was behind in my payments. They told me it was not an escrow overage and that they made a mistake putting the money into my checking account and they wanted it back. In XX/XX/2022, I made a double mortage payment of approximately {$5600.00}. However, because my loan is a business loan, they have a default rate of XXXX %. So instead of using that money to catch up on my mortgage, they didn't apply it towards the loan and they sent the payment back to me because I was at default level, which was about {$7000.00} per month instead of {$2800.00}. Since I made the double payment, I believed I was current. I took a business trip to XXXX and I was gone for a month and I was not receiving any mail at my home in XXXX to inform me that I was in default. When I returned to XXXX I advised SPS of these facts but they did not try to help me. I also explained that during the trip to XXXX, my wife and I both contracted XXXX and it affected my earnings. I asked if they could help due to that situation and take me off the default rate so that I could catch up. They explained that it would take a month for them to decide if they would help. I requested that while we were waiting for the one month period if they could take me off the default rate but SPS said they could not do that. So after I waited a month, they declined to help me. Now my situation is worse because now I owe {$14000.00}. I contacted them in XXXX of XXXX five different times to see if they could help me fix this situation but I could only leave messages and no one would call me back. I had to come up with the money which put me in a hardship situation to get out of the default rate. At one point, SPS said they would possibly assist me with getting out of the default rate but they did nothing despite my circumstances. I spoke to a representative at SPS about the double payment and was told that the they should have never mailed that money back to me but should have applied it to the loan. Since I've had a loan with this company, they have taken out double payme nts three times without my permission. If there is something you can do to assist me with this predatory compa ny, I would appreciate it. Thank you. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
