My mortgage has an escrow account with a balance of {$1100.00} to my favor. SPS made a mistake and sent the check to the address of the house that I sold at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, FL XXXX, instead of sending the check to the forwarding address on file. For this mistake, I did not receive the check. I called several times SPS during XXXX and XXXX asking for my check. On XX/XX/XXXX SPS sent me a letter saying that they were in the process of reissuing the check. Several months passed and I did not receive the payment. On XX/XX/XXXX I called SPS again and they said that they will mail check in the next 30 days. On XX/XX/XXXX I called SPS again and they repeated the same thing, that they were going to send check in the next 30 days. It is XX/XX/XXXX and I have not received the check. It is simply unacceptable that after 26 months I have not received my money from the escrow account.

Consumer Complaint: Select Portfolio Servicing Acct XXXX Because of COVID, I was in forebearance with mortgage company. Forebearance ended in XXXX and I have called them since XXXX, XXXX to get my new payments. This is log of my calls starting in XXXX. May Under Review XX/XX/XXXX Under review XX/XX/XXXX Under Review XX/XX/XXXX Under Review XX/XX/XXXX Under Review XXXX Under Review XX/XX/XXXX Sent requested hardship letter XX/XX/XXXX, Called in because I could not log in and to check the status and I am told I am not eligible to the repayment of my loan and that I've been referred for foreclosure. I was told by the service rep that SPS approved my repayment XX/XX/2022 and I had a window of XX/XX/XXXX to accept. So instead of approximately {$1800.00} a month I must come up with {$32000.00} to avoid foreclosure. My problem is that they did not follow their process or were they timely in completing my request for the loan modification and closed the door on me without making any other attempts to advise me of that opportunity. They did not follow their process of notification and they indicated because I am paperless I should have been checking their website. SPS should give me additional consideration since they did not follow their process and I did follow up as much as I thought was necessary. I am only behind in my payments because as a XXXX in XXXX, I did not receive rent nor could I evict. It does not seem fair that I have to lose my building and home because I complied with state and federal laws and SPS was not transparent or timely in processing my forebearance request. All I want is to be allowed to accept the plan that was offered that I waited over 7 months to receive.

Consumer Complaint: I send my mortgage payment through bill pay every month. Every month I sent at least {$300.00} to be applied towards reducing my principal amount owed. Select portfolio services never applied the overage towards principal. Instead, they put the extra payment in unapplied account that doesn't yield any interest. I have called numerous times and give them a standing order to apply all my payments above monthly principal and interest be applied to reduce principal but so far they have refused to do that. I've been having to call monthly to remind tell them again and they give me the same excuse that it's because I was sending payment through bill pay. They accrued the extra payment for at least five months one time and no interest was paid to me. Meanwhile, I continue to pay interest to them.

However, based on the contents of the attached letter, there was a refund due of {$13.00}, which was supposedly issued on XX/XX/XXXX. I never received that refund if it was indeed due to me as stated in the attached correspondence. My latest call to SPS on XX/XX/XXXX, I was told that it was in dispute and to call back in a month or so. First, I never issued a dispute ; this is a fact, not a question or dispute. I am seeking your help to resolve this issue. The following are screen shots of correspondence from SPS, and nowhere in that list is there a letter acknowledging that SPS sent me a refund.

Client submitted a payment of {$1400.00} via XXXX XXXX, which was returned back to her after it was received by SPS with the explanation that it was received on the XXXX of the month and was insufficient to reinstate together with the late fee that would have been assessed. If servicer had processed that payment as promised, our Client would not be in default and would not be facing the fees and costs of a foreclosure.

Consumer Complaint: To Whom It XXXX Concern, I sent a request for mortgage assistance with Select Portfolio Servicing in regards tXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX and was requesting assistance in a payment plan or putting the payments at the end of the term so I could get back on track. I was given a payment plan that was totally unaffordable {$1400.00} a month for a year. I spoke with a young lady at SPS explaining that I couldn't afford that amount and if there was any way it could be broken up in 5 years or more so I could make the payments and my living expenses as well. I only clear $ 2500 monthly but I have to pay car insurance ( {$300.00} ), car payment ( {$690.00} ), utilities ( {$150.00} + {$60.00} ) ; gas to go to work and food. There is just not enough money and I was injured from car accident in XXXX so I am XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX so I've been trying to find a second job to supplement my income after work where I am at desk job but to no avail. I just want them to be reasonable and work a affordable payment plan. I am going to pay the principle payment only as recently became ill with a upper respiratory XXXX in XXXX, XXXX. Why can't these mortgage companies be accommodating to their customers. I've applied for the mortgage assistance and they always decline.
