Consumer Complaint: I have been trying for over a year with SPS to get help on my mortgage with back payments. SPS took over my loan XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX as I just got a wonderful affordable modification I can afford well in the meantime the loans was transferred and everything was a FIASCO for several months as I called everyday, In XX/XX/XXXX I was laid off due to the COVID-19 Pandemic I CALLED SPS to advise them they put me in a forbearance program I also was asking for help with the back payments I know I have a good low APR of 2 % I was not asking for anything lower just help with getting back on track with my payments to bring my account current and I have been given the run around for a entire year please someone look into my account and phone logs. I was told I had to assume the loan which I knew nothing about, I filled out several papers OVER AND OVER just to be denied everytime. In the State of NJ I was advised the Mortgage companies could NOT ask for all back payments due to the pandemeic which technically was from XX/XX/XXXX until now as of XX/XX/XXXX ' I got a full time job so I definitely can pay my mortgage I am willing to pay a extra {$200.00} with my current mortgage, I was told my account is with a attorney in foreclosure I have done everything and submitted everything SPS has ever asked for to avoid foreclosure and pay my mortgage I can afford my {$1500.00} monthly payment I only need help with the back payments not seeking a lower APR I DON'T WANT TO LOSE my home I have nothing if I lose my home. I lost my husband in XXXX ' as a extra income was taken and I promise I will do all I have to to keep my home and SPS is not willing to work with me for a year now .I was never notified by SPS by law 15 days effective the transfer that was my right, I just want SPS to work with me on my back payments I am willing and can afford my mortgage I am begging for HELP as I have for over a year with SPS and it seems all they want to do is foreclose they haven't tried to work with me I was even told by a supervisor XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ' to go get a personal loan cause SPS can't help me. I was distraught this is effecting my health, XXXX XXXX XXXX possible XXXX if I can't get my pressure under control due to this stress, PLEASE HELP ME KEEP MY HOME I lost my husband I don't wan to lose my HOME we worked hard to get for 15 years ago. I even got scammed by a company who said they can help me by working with you charging {$1300.00} for 3 months and nothing but a DENIAL FROM SPS I am at the end of my rope for help I am XXXX what do I tell my son if we lose all we got left.

Then, my loan was sold to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, and you, as the loan servicer, have claimed windstorm insurance coverage is required, I have spoken to XXXX in your servicer 's insurance department, and she indicated that this is an arbitrary requirement of their company. I have had mortgages on the subject property since XXXX, and I have NEVER been required to provide such coverage. As indicated, this is a Flex Modification Loan, approved with specific income and expense guidelines. Youre own insurance department has indicated that this is an arbitrary requirement, that the property is not located in a Windstorm Zone ( Outside of 10 miles of the XXXX XXXX XXXX, and that said coverage would pose an extreme financial hardship to me, I respectfully request that this arbitrary requirement be waived. Please remove your account from my property. I sent the declaration to SPS and they do not want to make a change. I was told to PUT on a RMA modification request that I still have lenders placed insurance at XXXX $ per month. I want a refund for months you billed while I had insurance that well covers the property. In times past I was denied insurance on the property because XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX OH XXXX electric lines goes from XXXX to the next door neighbors house and he complains about it..also the legal issues revolved around the 2 parcel now one parcel legal city board hearing disputes in XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX sent an email and I received security clearance for XXXX to send a special favor to me for SPS years and years ago..SPS knew he was deported since XXXX ... XX/XX/XXXX sent the email ... TO THEM. The foreclosure NOTICE WAS ISSUED ON XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. 6 days before my mother in law..my best friend died of XXXX. She was on hospice 30 days..died XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX ... ..I am married to XXXX XXXX is his mom ... ... .she was my best friend in the entire world ... ..after the funeral. I want transparancy ... and simple questions answered and I am ignored and no one will answer the questions when I ask. I would like to know why your dept collectors license number out of NEW YORK ... .is not valid and does not have a correct address ... .I read that the other collector is Mr. XX/XX/XXXX I read his OHIO LLC registration and can only assume until I get the correct information. The address of MrXXXX XXXX is wrong..his building was sold and his LLC is not updated ... .Im going by my own research in attempts to find out who owns the loan ... XXXX called me and told me that they do NOT own the loan. Several years ago SPS told me that XXXXXX/XX/XXXX owned it and sent a letter saying XXXXXX/XX/XXXXowend it ... ... .. XXXX has no idea whats going on. The only info I found was City Prosecutors in NY working with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in different cities around USA who deem certain houses as Nuisance Houses where they use police information to deem a house worthy to board up and take/condemn. That's the only pattern and trend I see. I have read other court documents that show the same kind of filing. Im not sure if this is the case. I do not fall into that category. My husband XXXX and I fixed up the houses and he is an XX/XX/XXXXin XXXX and we is in charge now of tenants. SPS told my husband XXXX and I that its too complicated to explain who owns the mortgage. We want this answered. Also,,, ,the forclosure filed used a valuation of the property dated XXXX. We dont understand why a current valuation was not used. XXXX my husband said its the numbers that were fudged in the XXXX determination to fit into a certain justification clause in attempts to take our home from us. Something like that ... he can explain more to our lawyer next week, because we are seeking a lawyer to file a law suit against the city for injuries and loss of over XXXX $ due to their mistakes and county in legal fees and the XXXX $ put on our taxes for 10 years. The past unpaid amount of {$870.00} is incorrect. There is no balance owed or past due. I just started paying {$870.00} on XX/XX/2021 from a correction that was made by Select. How can that amount be past due. Any unapplied payments should go to escrow. Why did Select send {$190.00} of escrow surplus instead of leaving it in escrow. If the account should have {$920.00} in escrow for XX/XX/2021, why doesn't it reflect it on the online statement? The online information shows the escrow balance of {$530.00}. Please stop reporting inaccurate information on the account and correct it. Stop reporting fraudulent amounts on my account.

Consumer Complaint: Since XXXX my mother fell behind on her mortgage due to pandemic ( illness, job loss and tenant loss ) and was able to resume paying more XXXX vs the XXXX that she was paying before effective XX/XX/XXXX and will continue to pay this amount. Since XXXX I have attempted to work with SPS to either A. defer the outstanding balance to end of loan or B. allow her to repay the amount into months that does not exceed XXXX dollars. I have sent paper work, filed multiple loan assistance forms for them to share in XXXX that they can break up payment into XXXX ( she will lose her house and set herself up for failure if she accept this plan, I have shared this with SPS ). Again on XXXX I re applied for her with the same request only for SPS to again on XX/XX/XXXX share that they need her to pay XXXX. Please help my older single widow mother keep her home.

Consumer Complaint: This is the appeal I sent to Spservicing. I initially reached out to SPServicing in XXXX because I had lost business due to the corona virus. They offered me a forbearance on my mortgage payment. I had never been late on my mortgage payment. I accepted the forbearance but I really wanted a modification. I asked repeatedly about applying for a modification but was told I had to wait until my forbearance was over. At that time, one of the options was to have the forbearance added to the back of my loan. I was sent paperwork that had that as an option. I called about once every other week to find out what was happening with my loan. My forbearance kept being extended. After the initial forbearance I was offered an unemployment plan. They said that at the end of that time someone call and I could apply for the modification. On the XX/XX/XXXX I received paper work offering a repayment plan. The repayment plan was to pay {$4600.00}. A month for two years. I was shocked that I would be expected to pay this amount. I thought the whole point of the forbearance was to help people in need. First of all, the repayment figures are incorrect. My loan is an adjustable and I had just received a notice that my new payment was reduced from {$3300.00} to {$2800.00} on the first of XX/XX/XXXX. My loan adjusts the payment every XX/XX/XXXX. This repayment had me paying 24 payment of {$3300.00} instead of the amount that I am responsible to pay, {$2800.00}, and how does anyone know what the payment will be in XXXX? This was in addition to the {$31000.00} broken down monthly for two years. This amount is beyond what I could afford to pay. We are still in the pandemic and it has gotten worse instead of better. I called and asked why I wasnt allowed to add this amount to the back end of my loan and was told that I couldnt do that because I missed too many payments. I was never told there was a limit and I asked this many times. I also wonder why I couldnt apply for a modification. I was denied even applying. There is no explanation for this. One of the problems has been that everytime I call I get contradicting information. I want to apply for a modification. I dont want to lose my home. I have lived here since XXXX and have managed to hold on to it through divorce where I had to refinance and pay off my ex husband. At that time my problems started by having to get an adjustable loan. I have had years where my payment went up {$700.00}. And I still managed to pay my loan and I will in the future. I have an XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and a XX/XX/XXXX and have always been able to pay the mortgage, taxes and insurance until this pandemic. I want to have a lower payment that is fixed and it could even be extended if possible. I just want to keep my home. Consumer Complaint: I have been requesting for mortgage assistance thru SPS for the last few years each time just gets denied for various reasons that dont make any sense. On XX/XX/2020 the lender denied me and on the denial letter it states my income was not considered as part of my evaluation review, they also mentioned that my payment could not be reduced enough to modify. In the review it does not appear my income was used to determine if I'm eligible for help, in your review under the Net Present Value it states my payment was to increase by {$30.00}, but as my income shows on my financial report I clearly have {$240.00} left over each month which I have not problem making this payment. SPS offered me a repayment plan for 12 months doubling my mortgage payment and leaving me with only {$400.00} for my monthly expenses including food, car expenses and utilities. I believe when SPS offered me this it was done intentional for me to fail. I made as many payments as I could until I could not afford it. Now each time I apply they deny me and are not allowing any home retention options. I offered them a contribution of {$10000.00} and asked them to place the remainder amount owed to the end of the loan and simply to allow me to continue to make payments but they even deny that. I feel SPS is more interested in the foreclosure of my home rather than helping me out. I would like CFPB to investigate SPS for any illegal activities.

Consumer Complaint: Since the Covid-19 Pandemic, I started having financial hardship due to the decrease of my business and since then I started having difficulty to pay my mortgage payments. I requested help from Select Portfolio Servicing and back in XX/XX/XXXX they put me into a 3 months Forbearance program and not pay my mortgage payments. After the 3 months still in the same financial hardship they gave me another 3 months and another 3 months. My delinquency has increase and now they want me to pay them all the past due mortgage payments within 30 days. I have no way of paying them back when I am still struggling with my business. I have requested to put me into a deferral in which since they offer me the Forbearance they have mentioned that they were working on a solution to offer by the end of the Forbearance and the solution is Foreclosing on my home. I have no way to pay this Lender my delinquency in which they made me think that they were going put my delinquency at the end of my loan. I am asking for help with my lender to modified my loan or put my delinquency into a Deferral. I have attempted several ocasions to resolved this matter with my lender and have no resolution. I was informed that as of XX/XX/XXXX that Mortgage Payment Deferral became available to homeowners. Federal Funds Relief or any other type of funds that can be helpful to me as a Homeowner that due to the Covid-19 I was placed into this terrible hardship. Please help me save my home.

I have signed and returned the modification agreement 3 times and it has not been received per servicer. I have called repeatedly and requested contact online. I have made ten phone calls to waste an hour to fill in some random service rep the same story with no solutions. I just paid my XX/XX/XXXX payment and they have me as due for XX/XX/XXXX and my escrow is in the negative. I am extremely frustrated. My original loan was with XXXX XXXX XXXX and they sold me to this servicer. I would like to know what my legal rights are. This is affecting my credit and causing my family serious harm.
