Consumer Complaint: My email with PayPal is XXXX PayPal has frozen my account with {$9500.00} on it and they assured me I will be able to withdraw my funds after 180 days. On XX/XX/2021 I got email from PayPal saying that my funds were eligible for withdrawal and that I can link my bank or card to withdraw my funds. My issue is that my bank and old cards previously linked to my PayPal account have all been closed. I have tried linking a new bank or card to withdraw my funds to but it keeps giving me bad signal that there is a problem with my account advising me to contact customer service, but when I do, I have not received a solution to my issue rather than copy and paste replies from One Lady called XXXX from executive office. I want PayPal to remove the restrictions of adding a card off my account so I can be able to link a card to my PayPal account without any problem and withdraw my funds. I will submit the screenshots of the error message that I want PayPal to take it off

Consumer Complaint: I woke up to check my cell phone this morning around XXXX pst and noticed an email from paypal stating that XXXX ads had charged me for {$170.00} two times. I started to see what was going on, I checked my ads account and noticed 2 payments of {$170.00} had been authorized for some ads. I have TWO paypal accounts linked to my XXXX ads, one was my personal account, and the other was my business. The person seemed to have hacked my XXXX account and got access to my XXXX ads, they set up a bunch of ads to run today ( XX/XX/2021 ), luckily there were no additional charges that went through today. I had taken the steps to change all my passwords. I then proceeded to try an file a claim with paypal via both accounts immediately. They responded within a few hours stating I " authorized '' them to charge me. YES I DID AUTHORIZE XXXX ADS TO CHARGE ME FOR MY ADS, NOT A SCAMMER OR HACKER TO FRAUDULANTLY USE MY ACCOUNT FOR THEIR ADS. Today is XXXX XXXX and now I'm out {$350.00} total. I can provide both paypal account information if needed.

Since it happened after I made a genuine transaction. I have not been able to get help from them for days but I just remembered I could file a report on here as I feel they are not doing their job properly and it is effecting me a great deal as I used PayPal quite frequently. Consumer Complaint: I filed and waited nearly 6 months to get my unemployment and then when I did it was detect deposited into my pay pal account where after it was deposited I was able to use some funds to get caught up on bills and back debts due to covid 19 then pay pal froze my account for 180 days for what they say suspicious activity ive sent them all documents needed ive called them they never asked me to verify my transactions or told me what suspicious activity just froze my funds I need that money ive got family to support and with the covid everyone needs whatever help the can get I don't feel that pay pal is doing things according to the law and shutting someone off and freezing there funds in times of need for no reason isn't very justified or legal my next step after this is Congress and legal council and im gon na be taking pay pal to court woth a law suit if this doesn't resolve the issue thanks

Consumer Complaint: I've used Paypal for many years. I set up a secondary account a year ago that I've been unable to access because they claim they will only send the code to my phone. Ironically, they've now locked me out of my primary account ( with thousands of dollars in transactions ) and claim they will only send an email. I no longer have access to the old email, so I called and they refuse to take my call, having their automated system hang up on me immediately, 4 different times This account should still had funds, has my credit card information and debit card information and has transaction histories I need for tax reporting. I expect a response. I'm not able to delete all my personal information or access it for reporting, they've completely scammed my account.

Consumer Complaint: My girlfriend left me and when she left she stole a few cards and {$100.00} cash. She has no authorization to these items. One of the items was a Paypal account. She accessed my account ( she is not, nor ever has been authorized on this or any account of mine ) and was able to obtain {$21.00} from my account- again, she was unauthorized. I received notification of this activity and immediately notified Paypal. I also immediately changed my password. Paypal conducted an investigation and in less than 24 hours returned the results which I will be uploading. In its response, Paypal verifies the charge was unauthorized, but because the charge is not authorized, they denied my claim. That doesn't seem like that would be legal, or even ethical.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an alert from PayPal claiming that I sent {$90.00} to someone by the name of " XXXX XXXX '', which I clearly did not make this transaction. I went to go file a dispute on the transaction that it was unauthorized. PayPal refused to reimburse me and dismissed my claim. This is abysmal customer service for PayPal to not reimburse a consumer for a transaction that is clearly unauthorized. I am a consumer whom should not have to face being robbed of my hard-earned money.
