Consumer Complaint: I open my PayPal account was using it peacefully and had no issue until I was in XXXX XXXX, I add money to my account to buy my ticket back to XXXX when I release that I cant use my PayPal debit card even being that I just load money. That was the only cash I have, I have to get stranded in XXXX XXXX for two days going back and forth with them. They said there are account which are linked to my name and social and have negative balance which I have to resolve, I send them information like police report and XXXX XXXX report on my information being compromised but it been almost a month now, last week they sent me an email saying my account has been restored, view and when I when I check it was not and during that time I couldnt do anything to my account, and I saw a transaction being made for XXXX XXXX for XXXX $ which I haven no idea how that happen, as of now, my account is frozen with XXXX . I am writing for help.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XX/XX/2021 a {$1.00} Authorization posted against my PayPal account balance, supposedly by XXXX. Today is XXXX XXXX and I still can't get this removed. Almost every day since this appeared I have sent hours and hours on hold waiting to talk to agents and managers or waiting online for their Message Center agents to respond. They all seem to be centered outside of the US and English is clearly NOT their primary language. I repeat the same story over and over to each and they just don't get it. There Message Center response time averages 9 hours each time I post a response yo their response ( no of this is real time ) and their phone queue wait time is averaging 2 hours! So this is consuming my life.They tell me I must get the merchant to remove the charge, but XXXX has assured me the charge is not from them and have given me screenshots that confirm that. However, PayPal won't take my word for it, won't accept the screenshots as proof, or contact XXXX to confirm. They are not willing to admit its a platform error on their part or allow me to submit an online dispute to treat the charge as fraudulent. HELP! I need this charge cleared so I can close my PayPal account. They had previously advised I must delete my current account and create a new one due to Technical irregularities on their platform that prevent me from making transfers out of my PayPal account to my linked external account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( another case of fraudulent activity as they hold my money as long as possible to gain interest ) .Their Escalations department stated that they had no intention of attempting a 'fix ' of my issue as they are calling the bug a security " feature '' for my protection sonehow?

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2020 I was notified by Paypal that my account of 19 years was being permanently canceled due to my having used, fraudulent or stolen information when I opened my account. As I had had my account for nearly 20 years it seemed to me that there was an error that needed correcting. I contacted them by telephone that same day and was told that an appeal would be opened and that I could xpect to hear vrom them within three days. Having not heard back from them by Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX I called again and was informed that the person with whom I first spoke was in error and that no appeal was possible. I have a cash balance of {$60.00} that they have impounded for a period of 180 days. I stated that I did not agree to that length as appropriate but the Paypal representative with whom I was speaking said it was in the user agreement. My position is that I have not violated the user agreement and they have not offered any proof that I have or even said specifically what the stolen or fraudulent information thay accused me of providing was. To accuse someone of providing stolen or fraudulent information is a serious charge. It needs to be backed up with facts and the person accused should have the opportunity to present any information that would be exculpatory. To make a blind accusation and use it as a predicate for impounding funds in their care is a dangerous prerogative they are assuming unto themselves. There is also the humiliation of being treated as a criminal after so long an association and to have scheduled payments suddenly not being met is deeply embarrassing. I believe I am entitled to a hearing to show that I have not acted in a manner as accused and that my account should be restored and their practice of arbitrary decision taking needs to provide for dialog in matters of disputes.

Consumer Complaint: Hey we have been contacting paypal for 3 months and every-time an agent say I will immediately escalate your demand to the relevant department and will get back to you shortly when we have updates. and he will never come back. the problem is : we were having some problems with delivery in the lockdown months due to covid-19 and we had some more cases coming then paypal put a hard reserve percentage ( 90 % for 80 days ) on our account which no business can survive with this reserve percentage and we understand that. but we put also a hard effort to deliver the orders as faster as we can. and we delivered all the orders to our costumers and we solved all the cases most of them in our favor.

Consumer Complaint: My account is on hold and I am unable to access my money. This is a Venmo issue with not being able to release the hold on my account. They are saying there is nothing they can do and I have to wait until the issue gets resolved. I have a Mastercard debit from Venmo. My account says they are waiting for a repayment to clear on XX/XX/2021 for {$70.00} at that time my account will be automatically reactivated. They say It is an issue on their end, but can not do anything about it. I have to wait for I do not know how long. I feel like it is a huge issue and needs to be investigated.

Consumer Complaint: There was a fraudulent activity made on XX/XX/2021 with my PayPal Key. However, PayPal keep declining my claims about the fraud charge. Firstly, When I first found the fraud activities, I immediately deleted the compromised PayPal Key. However, the transaction still went through. Then for some reason, the transaction got split into 2 charges. So I filed 2 claims against those 2 fraud charges. The first one got approved, but the second one got denied. Since those two charges were coming from the same transaction, there should be no reason for PayPal to deny the second claim. I appealed the decision of the second case but my appeal was denied again. Secondly, the default payment card in my PayPal Key was linked to one of my credit card. However PayPal charged my checking account which I never authorize them to do so!!
