Consumer Complaint: PayPal has {$2800.00} of my money in their account. They have placed limitations on my account. I have clicked through the resolution center and complied with what they are asking for. I have tried to use their messaging system. It is a bot. I left messages for the company but have not received a reply. I have called and waited on hold in excess of 2 hours. No one answers. I want my account freed so that I can collect my money that they have held for a long time. I believe they are making this purposefully difficult and that they must have some responsibility to reply to a customer whos assets they have locked and are holding. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I received a notification that a {$450.00} purchase was made using my Venmo debit card information through the app XXXX. I did not make this purchase. It has been a month going back and forth with Venmo trying to resolve the issue but I am the one thats left to pay for something someone else bought with my information. I immediately contacted XXXX and they closed my account and marked the purchase as fraudulent. A couple days later my account information was used again but denied because my account was closed already. I was immediately notified. They were wonderful. Venmo credited me the money while they were working out the dispute but has denied my claim and left me paying for the purchase. They took the money out of my account today. I am beyond frustrated as to why this cant be resolved. I first contacted the company support on the XXXX immediately and again on the XXXX and multiple times in XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Good evening, Paypal closed my account without any reason or warning, i tried contacting them trought on-site support, phone call, XXXX and they refused to assist me or tell me the reason why, also on-site support told me to open a new account ( I have proof of it ), which invalidates the purpose of them permanently limiting my account in the first place. They assured me that it was done manually, not by a robot, but the limitation happened on sunday, which im sure PayPal doesn't work on I provided all my private documents that they required on time. I provide a digital software development service online client paid me an amount after getting service, PayPal put a hold on that payment don't know why I thought there is some mistake so I refunded the amount and asked my client to send the money again he sent payment again now again PayPal put a hold on that money and charged my client twice for a single payment. Now after getting my payment confirmed by the client they closed my account. Now they are not even letting me refund the amount to the client so that I can ask my client to pay me through another source. I have not been able to get help from them. Consumer Complaint: PayPal closed my account for no reason. I never disobeyed any agreement or policy. I believe that this was because of me receiving {$1000.00} on my account, but I don't see anything wrong with the transfer especially because I personally know the sender. They asked me to submit a photo ID and explain those transactions, and as well a bank statement which was supposed to be confidential. I submitted all of these to comply in hopes of getting my account being restored but the next working day, I saw that my account has been permanently restricted and I can only withdraw my funds after 180 days. I have sent them an e-mail but to no avail, they have not replied. This is affecting me so much because I use PayPal frequently and this has been the third time that they requested for my documents.
