Consumer Complaint: I recently came across an advertisement for the portable XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX on XXXX.The total cost was {$89.00}. Two XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX for {$170.00}, and three XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX plus two free for {$260.00} were the options. I've decided to buy just one ( I am retired from XXXX, not a website merchant there was no reason to purchase more. ) The purchase has been made, I have paid through XXXX The PayPal hooked up to my bank account, so I thought the transaction should be nice and smooth. Two days later I have been surprised when I see that my bank has been charged by some overseas company for {$260.00}. As I have learned the company is located in some black hole called XXXX, XXXX. Several of my emails to cancel the order has been ignored, as the requests to Paypal informing them of the unauthorized transaction were also refused. Recently I have received the package without a return address loaded by XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ( five items ). Well, I've tried one, the gadget has not functioned. I even did not unpack the others. First of all, I did not order five items ( it was an unauthorized transaction of {$170.00} ). {$170.00} has been snatched off my bank account without my authorization and I would like to have it back to my bank. The second electronic gadget does not function. All five XXXX XXXX XXXX I will send back to any place in the USA ( I do not want to send them to XXXX or XXXX ). Paypal does not recognize my request as an unauthorized transaction, even though {$170.00} was beasty snatched from my bank account. I would like to get my money back.

Consumer Complaint: ( Note : This is copy and pasted from the report I filed against PayPal on XXXX ) On XX/XX/2021, PayPal put a sudden and unwarranted permanent limit on my personal PayPal account after receiving a small payment for buying another coworker lunch. I then spoke to XXXX, an employee of PayPal, to try to resolve the problem. He had me submit my Drivers License to prove my identity. However, after waiting the 3-5 business days to have the problem solved, nothing changed. After calling them again on XX/XX/2021, I was then told that my account is now permanently limited due to " high risk '', preventing my from accessing the funds on my account. They explained that their internal system automatically did this and offered no explanation about how I broke the agreements between me and PayPal that caused this action. Later in XXXX, I tried calling them again but I think they have black listed my number. I keep getting hung up on after the system tells me about the call being recorded. I also tried calling them through the account cancellation line, but I have been on hold with no one to talk to me for over 12 minutes. Usually, I get an offer to press 1 and have them call me when it's my turn, but I didn't even get that message. The calls that prove my claim are attached to the message as an " XXXX '' sound file. On XX/XX/2021, I messaged them on XXXX to try and resolve it from there. Like they said while on the phone in XXXX, they said the account was permanently limited after a review and offered no answer why. They insisted that the decision will not be reversed. I want to have my account back as their actions are a breach of the contracts between us since they refuse to provide proof that I have violated any agreement. The reference ID for the permanent limit in question is XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: So I made a new business account to send and receive money from my small video editing and production business. I didn't face any problems until I one day got up to check my account and see that PayPal have limited it. I tried asking for the reason and why it got limited and never got a clear answer from them, until one of their employees said that this decision is final and we have decided to permanently limit your account, and the balance you have on your account will be held for 180 days and then they'll send me instructions on how to access them after that period. So I waited for 180 days and I went on and check that I can only withdraw money out of my account and not access anything else on it. So I tried to link my debit / credit card to my account but it said that I can't and the only way I can transfer money out of my account is by using a Local Visa Card or a XXXX XXXX Account, but I don't live in the US and they don't give Local Visa Cards in my Country.
