Consumer Complaint: PayPal closed my account for no reason and will not help me with getting it back up and going in order to rightlfully retrieve my funds. I am not sure if this is some mistake as I assume it has to be. I have not been able to get help from them for months but I just remembered I could file a report on here as I feel they are not doing their job properly and it is effecting me a great deal as I have no other souce to store my funding and have recvently got out the hospital from XXXX XXXX and used PayPal quite frequently. We noticed activity in your account thats inconsistent with our User Agreement and we no longer offer you PayPal services. Any bank or credit card information linked to your PayPal account can not be removed nor can it be used to create a new account. You can still log in and see your account information but you cant send or receive money. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 at XXXX XXXX, I received an email from PayPal informing that a unrecognizable device logged into my business account, I immediately changes password as well as attempted to contact PayPal. IN response to what have been ongoing unauthorized activity in addition to unauthorized access into my paypal I was informed of the immediate cancelation of my account and that the balance that I have accrued will be held for 180 days before I am given instructions which further complicated the recouping of my funds. In addition there are monies owed to me from customers who will only be able to pay the debt via PayPal due to the service PayPal advertised as a sure way to receive payment. This is unethical business practice in relation to activity caused by fraudulent activity in which Pay pal was previously notified and provided the necessary reports provided to me by the federal trade commission.
