It is now XXXX and PayPal has not returned funds to sender me XXXX XXXX. PayPal is floating funds and earning interest on funding that should have already been returned. With real-time payments, this refund is going over the normal cycle time.

Ive been in contact with them via chat for several months and 3 times sent info of my identity and other documents they wanted. They have confirmed that they have recieved the documents but still wont open my account again. This was 1st of match. ( Will include screenshot ) I keep getting automated chats that there is nothing they will do and that I have to wait. I called but they dont answer. On XX/XX/2021 they transfered the money to themselves and zeroed out the account. The following was the only note, '' {$3100.00} USD ; PayPal Posting Date : XX/XX/2021 ; Payment to : Paypal ; PayPal 's damages caused by Acceptable Use Policy violation ;. '' I didn't violate anything and they said they were going to release my money after 180 days back to me.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter in the mail ( date XX/XX/2021 ) from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), saying that I owed a debt to PayPal and they are collecting on that debt. I do not owe any money to PayPal. I do not know if my identity was stolen or fraud or what, but this is incorrect. After researching XXXX a little more, apparently they use these same tactics on/with many others. I would like it stopped without having to contact them and reveal any more of my personal information to them, as is being requested in the letter I received. I do not trust that this is not a scam and do not wish to contact them in person by phone, email, website or any other way that would give them more information about me than they have already managed to get.
