So I verified when I turned XXXX then they closed it due to that reason not giving me any information on why they closed my account with earned money I need for bills, I rang them up about the issue, that didnt really get anywhere apart from the fact they said they are holding my account for 180 days but after a 30 day period I can transfer the money to my bank. Its now been about 110 days and Im still unable to transfer my self the money, PayPal seems like a very unorganised company from my experience. Consumer Complaint: PayPal Fraud I was looking to get money from my work collogues to purchase a XXXX XXXX Gift Card for someone our work who retiring. On XX/XX/2021, I used my PayPal account to receive over a dozen donations of over {$300.00} that I would then transfer to my personal XXXX account. In the subject line, I put the name of the retiring worker and was not informed that I would need to verify the personal information of a name on the subject line which read, XXXX XXXX retirement- XXXX XXXX Gift Card. PayPal took the funds but would not release them to me unless each individual contacted PayPal to verity the retiring workers birthdate. When I called to inquire with PayPal 's supervisor, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was told by PayPal this is a government regulation. I asked if I could read this regulation or be told where to find it and they did not have it. I don't have personal information for the retiring worker whose name I put on the subject line and asked if I could use something else. I was then told the money could not be returned or processed unless each person contacts the PayPal 's resolution center. Because I am not able to get personal information for a name put on the subject line, such as birthdate, Social Security or Mother 's maiden name for a person that is not part of the transaction, my money is frozen by PayPal and will not be returned or released to me. '' After a review, we decided to permanently limit your account as we found potential risk associated with it. As a result, we can no longer offer PayPal services to you. Any bank or credit card information thats linked to your PayPal account can not be removed nor can it be added to another account. You can still log in and see your account information but you can't send or receive money. If you have funds in your PayPal balance, it will be held for up to 180 days. After that, we'll email you with information on how to access your funds '' so how can i resolve it?

Consumer Complaint: Hello. I am from XXXX and i have my paypal account from 20 years and never violated paypal aceptable policy. Now paypal says i violated a policy, not saying which, denying to specify and stole my balance and banned me. I am pretty sure i didnt made an illegal move, and they refuse to say why and just took off my balance. I consider this stealing and i need protection. Is there something i can do or can u refer me to the place i need to file a complain so they dont steal me or others? I am 100 % sure i didnt violated a policy. I dont mind being kicked off paypal, but they cant keep MY money. They made a " transfer '' from my balance " to paypal '' to cover damages they say. but i didnt autoriced or informed what i violated. Thanks.
